This McDonalds is awful. No one working there speaks enough conversational English to communicate with anyone. Even just speaking your mobile order 2 letter and 2 number code can lead to crossed wires. It seems a few years ago the few American workers were replaced for people from Indian who just don't speak English and are all very rude, even if you are super nice and patient with them. However I have been coming to this location for 20+ years. It only gets worse. The service gets worse, the food worse, the quality worse. These people ALWAYS and I repeat ALWAYS will mess something up. They charge you .23 for sauce but you will almost never get that sauce and if you do get a sauce they just toss ranch in the bag. I don't think the people working there even know what anything other than ranch is. I only go here because I have a ton of nieces and nephews who love this garbage. They will usually forget a toy in the happy meals. I went to this place during the monopoly game last month. They did not hand out any game pieces, tried to gaslight me into telling me all the pieces were digital. I told them that is not how it works for what I ordered and they were less than helpful. It's 8:30 on a Friday evening, and this is the time to hit this Maccie Ds!! This evening crew was very friendly and fast! Even told me to enjoy my weekend! The food was out quickly and cooked to perfection! Fries were hot and fresh and not overly salted! I had two cheese burgers and they were fine, and I was actually supplied an appropriate amount of napkins! This is a huge improvement from my last visit! Unhelpful staff more interested in complaining about staff issues then cleaning and interacting with customers. Hands-down the worst McDonald's I have ever been to and that says a lot because I don't hold McDonald's in a very high regard to begin with. They never get my order correct. Another poor example of a failed McDonald's location. This location sits off busy 495 in Bellingham in the Walmart shopping center and is a tiny location mostly because it is a 24 hour drive thru. Too bad the employees here could care less about their jobs and the drive thru takes forever to process an order and then they screw the order up. It is a place that needs to either close down or revamp the service or rebuild a larger location. Don't bother eating inside here since the dining room is tiny. read more

I woke up late and was hungry on the commute to work. I ordered an Egg and Cheese Biscuit Meal at the drivethu. I expected her to ask what beverage I would like. She didn't. I reiterated that I wanted the meal, and told her I wanted an orange juice as the beverage for the meal. She says 'ok' and to drive up to the 1st window. I feared a mixup could be due to a language barrier, so I ask the man at the 1st window to repeat the order. Sure enough, she had not given me the meal; just the biscuit and OJ. I asked to him to add the hashbrowns. When I pulled up to the last window, the lady who took my order handed me OJ and a with just the biscuit. I wait 20 seconds or so just in case they were still getting the hashbrowns ready, but they weren't coming. Just as I am about to ask her about the hashbrowns, she notices I am still waiting and says "All set" or something unintelligible. I tell her it is not "all set". I hand her the bag back and the receipt which says I purchased the meal. She looks at it, doesn't understand, and brings it to a manager. The manager goes to the window and says "She only charged you for one". I'm utterly confused now. "One what?", I asked. I told the manager that all I wanted was my hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were the only reason I stopped in here in the first place. Give me my hashbrowns! Half a minute later she hands me my bag back with hashbrowns. Holy hot damn. Let's talk about incompetence. I know it's McDonald; I'm not expecting a five star service. First off, it was slowwwww as heck. No one else was in the restaurant, yet we waited a solid three minutes before anyone served us. Just to note, there was a girl standing behind the counter just drinking her coffee. Another guy ended up helping us. Another point of complaint was the food. Their big marketing posters worked on us, and we got their newly added to the menu mozzarella sticks. Pros: the outside of the store was clean and the staff at the drive thru were all very nice and friendly. Cons: the order was messed up in multiple ways. I went thru the drive thru this evening... and ordered two combo meals, a happy meal and a couple McFlurries. Once I got home I found that: 1 of the boxes of French fries was only half full, the happy meal was missing both the dip and the drink, the sodas were not marked as diet/regular and the McFlurries were not mixed and the m&ms were just dumped on the top of the ice cream. read more

For a place being so close to the high way (495) you would think the food would move faster. I went inside with my son had blood drawn and we couldn't eat before hand so we were really hungry and just wanted English muffins meals. They were ok but the hash browns was cold and gross! They all spoke Spanish to each other which I felt was very rude and the one who took my order altho nice I could not understand. Then the manager stepped in and took over so the other one could take a window order and grunted at me...yes grunted and nodded at me when she wanted me to pay. After a 15 minute Drive through experience, tonight, where I placed my order three times it was a disaster.. I stopped at the speaker, waited almost 10 minutes, a guy took the order (his voice conveyed NO confidence that the order would be correct). I drove around to pay, there was the car that had been in front of me for the past 10 minutes still trying to pay. Another 7 minutes later I handed the clerk my payment, he asked if I had ordered something completely different, I told him what I ordered, he asked if I were sure it wasn't another order that he rattled off. (How difficult is 2 plain hamburgers, small fries and a large coke) He entered the order he had taken from me almost 7 minutes earlier and handed me a receipt, I moved forward looked at the slip and lo and behold.... No Fries on the order slip... I wait another 5 minutes at the pick up window and the guy tried to hand me a small drink and I said I had the 2 hamburgers small fries and large coke, he asked for the receipt, I gave it to him and told him the second time I had to order it from the genius at the cashier post he again forgot fries. So, this guy gets pissy. I understand it's a fast paced and thankless job, but it's not answering 911. This McDonald's is the worst in the area. If you go to any other McDonald's in the neighboring towns you'll be much better off. I only eat here when I need something quick if I'm on my break from work. Almost every time I go through the drive thru I have to wait 15 to 20 minutes and there will only be a car or two in front of me. Once I got to the window they asked me what I got again and I had to repeat the order again and it's not like I had a huge order, only two chicken snack wraps! This has happened almost every time I go there. Also, this McDonald's isn't renovated like all the others and is very poorly maintained. I went to the Mcdonald's in Bellingham MA and I do not recommend. It sucked so bad. For some reason they wouldn't give us a cup. WTF it's just a cup and it comes with our meal. They also got my order wrong even though it was only a plain cheeseburger. HOW DO YOU SCREW THAT UP? The trashcan is also in front of the door which is so weird. I've gone here several times but only went inside for the first time recently. Never again. This location is grossly dirty. Floors are gross, heavy dust on and behind the ice/soda machine, and bathrooms have oddly low hand dryers. I guess the hand dryer isn't a huge deal but it looks like it was made for toddlers. Either way, the level of dirt and grime easily visible is disgusting. They need to hire a cleaning company ASAP. The ice cream machine was gross and the spouts were clearly covered in filth. The spot where you pull out the ice cream cones are really dusty. I hope they take this review seriously and hire some merry maids. read more
