Congratulations, you did it, you made the world's worst cup of coffee! Seriously their coffee is awful. The omelettes were good as were the hash-browns. My son order pancakes and they were flavorless and made from a mix. The restaurant itself desperately needs a deep clean and some paint. The wait staff was very friendly but they don't give you water. Overall the coffee is very bad and the omelettes pretty good. I'd skip it unless you are near and need something.

I absolutely love the food, the cooks are killing it at their job. However the service or just one guy who I some how always get when I go out to breakfast alone Alexander C .. gives poor service .. never asks how food is .. that was the first experience. Today .. I noticed .. I was charged $19.24 for an omelet ... It didnt include on the receipt that I asked for extra feta .. and no olives .. which I got the omelet and barely any feta ... then when I asked why the menu shows $15.49 for the omelet and was charged $19.24 was told there was a sign on the door about eggs being so expensive they raised the prices ... there isn't a sign on the door it's in there special little sign at the front desk ... and not for nothing egg prices have gone down ... I was refunded $1.50 still doesn't add up , it's a shame because the food is SO good but let's be honest your buying in bulk ... $20.00 for an omelette and $2.99 for a cup of coffee and then poor service ... he's lucky both times I even tipped him! And if you're going to charge for that you need to update your menus, yes it'll cost $1000s of dollars but that's not on me, every restaurant has had to do the same thing and update their menus ... and if we can all do math I should've been refunded $3.75. It is about the money but also not .. it's false advertising and poor customer service and bad math!

I've visited King St., Café several times. My guest ordered the Cafe breakfast #2 which is 2 eggs choice of pancakes or French toast. Choice of bacon or sausage with home-fries I ordered the meat lovers omelette Breakfast was good They have a good amount of seating. You can expect to wait to be seated I wish the menu font was a little larger or my eyes were younger lol You can't go wrong with breakfast or lunch

You're seriously going to resurrect the RED WING and not make the pizza available??? Makes no sense to me.

There were many people sitting enjoying their time with friends or family. Other patrons were studying. The staff was incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions. I got a smoothie (yummy), sandwich (tasty), and some pastries. The pastries were very sweet. I tried the cinnamon roll. Significant fosting to roll ratio but was very sweet. I couldn't finish it because it was too sweet. Overall, I would come back and bring my friends too

Any of the flavors of their danishes are a safe bet too, as they're seriously delicious, and we crave them often. We've tried a couple of their lunch options and some other pastries and would probably pass on those next time. Their scones tend to be on the dry side. Their coffee is good, though they don't offer many specialty flavor options if that's what you're looking for. We're still mourning two of our all-time favorites that have been discontinued: the homemade donuts every Sunday and the mushroom toast. Birchwood, please bring them back!

Starting with the highlights: we're obsessed with the buffalo home fries and the pulled pork hash - both are unique and packed with flavor. The specialty pancakes were also delicious and generously loaded with toppings. We also enjoyed the grilled blueberry muffin and the traditional eggs benedict, which had great flavor but overcooked eggs. Unfortunately, a few dishes missed the mark. The crab cake eggs benedict was made with imitation crab, which was a major disappointment. The omelets lacked flavor, mostly because they needed more seasoning, and the BBQ omelet was especially dry due to the lack of barbecue sauce. The regular home fries also lacked seasoning. The french toast was overwhelmed by cinnamon, making it difficult to taste much else. With a little more attention to seasoning, balance, and ingredient quality, this could easily become one of the area's best breakfast spots.

Please note that the counter's swivel bar stools are free standing, and no longer bolted to the floor (they move). Had one of the best DF Reubens of my life and upgraded to the sweet potato fries (good call!) Lovely cold brew coffee with almond milk (hooray!!) and coconut cream syrup. I see myself becoming a regular. See you there!
