I see some of the 1 star reviews and I understand some of them, I have certainly have had a few issues over the years at various Chipotle Mexican grills. However averaged out over many visits I would have to say that Chipotle has a consistent product made with quality ingredients. They have a good business model that offers "fast casual" and good food at reasonable price. A brand that can be trusted even with some of the health issues in the past few years. There business and reputation depends on it. Chipotle moves the line. Highly efficient at getting a lot of customers in and out in a short period of time. This location is not different. Busy times are of course lunch 11ish to 2ish and again dinner 4ish to about 630ish. If you really are in a rush, USE THE APP to order food. This location as a dedicated online food prep station. Very good when it comes to allergies. They will wash hands, put on new gloves and get food that hasn't t been on the line to cut down on contamination. It is not 100% but it is as good as they can do. This location seems to be doing enough right because the place is BUSY! There are plenty of options close by so it is a conscious choice by at least most people. Consistent issue areas are: 1)Food temp. Some times food can be on the "warmish" side depending on how many cool toppings you add can cool the warm ingredients. 2) High salt content of food. I really notice it with the Carnitas. Yes I know this isn't a low sodium food choice. I just happened to really notice it sometimes. 3) Dirty dining room. They simply do not have enough people to clean during a rush or don't have enough people who notice or care. Also Customers could take more of a stake in cleaning up after themselves or not eating like Cookie Monster. This can be a challenge due to the food being consumed. A good manager should be able to keep the dining room clean and organized. Take 5 minutes and wipe tables and empty trash. Grab a few napkins and wipe the rice and guacamole off the table. 4) I saw this in another post. If your not offering it Chipotle, Definitely Bring back the Military discount. My personal advice is have reasonable expectations, if you have an issue bring it to the management in a respectful assertive manner. She apologized for them being out of carnitas, 2+ hours before closing. This is hands down the worst Chipotle in Massachusetts. Every time I give it a new try it fails. To start, they had one girl doing the entire line. Took me 12 mins just to get to the front. I ordered a bowl with Carne Asada. The lazy female employee put a half scoop of meat in. When I asked for more she said it would be an added charge. Get to the register and my bowl is $24. $24 for a chipotle bowl. Anyways, I get home. And I am 5 bites in and every single piece of Carne Asada is chewy and not edible. Absolutely disgusting. They ran out of several of the proteins as well as burrito size tortillas when there are still two hours left of the fundraiser. Very difficult to communicate with employees when ordering in person. I used to frequent Chipotle quite a bit. I had a few problems ( which is understandable), but everytime I went to their website to lodge a complaint I got no response. Even after following up with a call, no answer! That is completely unnacceptable. The other issue is consistency. The employees that make the big batch recipes are not trained to FOLLOW THE RECIPE! There is also no before shift quality check done by a manager to make sure everything is prepared to recipe. My go to was Beef Barbicoa Burrito. Sometimes it was good and sometimes it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. That's happened with several offerings. If they would listen to their customers feedback they would accomplish 2 things; 1. They would find out what is happening in the individual stores, 2. They wouldn't lose customers due to Corporate arrogance ie; not acknowledging complaints. I guess they think we don't matter. How do you run out of so much shit during a PLANNED fundraiser 2.Don't you think it's common sense to call me and ask if I want everything in a bowl???? And 3. Shut this place down! Total rip-off My review is not only about this particular Chipotle but the franchise in general. I've given this place so many chances and they fail to deliver each time. How could $15 only get me a small scoop of chicken; a tablespoon of Guacamole and a soda? For the same money I can get a great sit down burger and side salad with waitress service. Chipotle's food is also so packed with salt you can't taste much. Maybe that's the point. They're ingredients are so tasteless it needs a ton of sodium. Not much better than a high school cafeteria. This location is poorly managed. Cleanliness is poor. Service is completely incompetent and always seems to be out of ingredients. Sorry we don't have peppers this week. We have Ordered several times using door dash or GrubHub. The last 4 orders have been all missing items. I have spoken to the manager and he is very nice but said that it's Up to me to contact the delivery service. When I contacted the driver , the driver said the bags are sealed and they are not allowed to open bags & check orders. I've had to get several credits from the delivery service companies. This is very annoying when you order items to feed your family and items are missing and someone goes without.. I get that we're under different circumstances with COVID-19 and you have to use the app to order but when someone asks how to get the first responder discount they normally get, the answer is not "you can't". The correct answer is "let me see what we can do." Customer service seems to be a lost art. And the food isn't what it used to be - smaller portions and not as fresh.
