They are having a massive refinishing project while still providing drive through.I am 100% baffled by the owners choice to put their staff through this. I am sitting here in the parking lot facing an ethical dilemma. Do I continue to use this McDonald's for my diet Coke etc addiction while under construction to support this establish during the Covid-19 crisis. I feel like this is "my McDonald's" and am cringing while the friendly staff members, who I have known for years, go through this? I stop using this McDonald's will they will lose business and then have to lay off workers. I know the employees who work here work hard many of them travel and have several jobs. They've always been excellent! I have Questions: what kind of compensation or bonuses will they receive for working under these loud crazy work conditions? I think that they must be getting massive amounts of double, triple pay. Or stake in the ownership of the company? Were the employees offered a choice? Work or not with work pause pay? When I went through the drive-through it was hard to tell if people were frowning because they were wearing their Covid protective masks. Horrible service. Arrived with one car in front of me. Poor guy had to wait 5 minutes before his order was taken. Then the guy who took my order kept messing up my what I was asking for and I had to keep repeating myself. Felt like he was playing with me. Then after paying at the first window, the young guy just closed his window without giving me a receipt. Subsequently asked but he kept ignoring me. He was busying himself with the register so I patiently waited, literally 5 minutes. Couldn't take it any more so I honked my horn. He continued to ignore me and so kept honking a few times. Finally, after about a minute of this nonsense, he opened his window and then put out his hand with the receipt without saying anythng, then promptly closed the window again. Like was this guy just rude or a high functioning autistic? Whatever. This experience is not atypical for the fine establishment at this location, and I have been to worse.and there are no good alternatives in the area. And once in a rare while, this place gets things right. On picking up the order, the manager came to the window to find out what went wrong., then gave me an extra apple pie for the poor service. (There were however no explicit spoken apologies). Almost was burned again. Asked worker handing me my bags if the sauce for the nuggest was in the bag. She said yes. Ha! I made sure to check and sure enough, no sauce, and I had to insist on it again. That being said, the McDonald's around Bryn Mawr near Haverfold College is amazing. This location has gone down hill over the past few years. Orders are often wrong. Drive thru line is always long and slow. Going inside is no better. Have stood inside as the only patron and it still took 5 minutes to me waited on. Food quality has also gone down hill big time. Burgers are always dry. Cheese is often not melted on the burger. Yesterday my burger had a peice of mcmuffin stuck in the roll. I used to go to this location regularly. I have since stopped going and I check in from time to time to see if anything has improved. This location should be torn down and rebuilt. The lights often need replacing inside. The drive thru location is the absolute worst. I will change this review if things improve. read more

wish I could put a negative star!!! Such a disappointment!!! I got to McDonalds as a treat. This McDonalds is anything but! Slooooowwwww service. Incredibly rude employees. Would it kill them to say "hello" or maybe smile? Car in front of me was handed a soda - rudely. It obviously was over-full & spilled all over the person's hand. The employee reached out with a napkin after the driver said something. They wiped the cup off & then turned away. Well, the driver's hand was still covered with soda. By body language alone, it was obvious the driver had to ask for a napkin - a bunch of which were rudely slammed into the guys other hand. I get to the window & the employee was all about making sure her hair was ok. No greeting at all. She glances at me & says "oh" and then proceeds to close the window. Slowly meanders over to the food, fills the bag with my food & comes back to the window. Slowly opens it, still yet to greet me, and says "10 nuggets?". My response was "yes. I'm supposed to have a soda too." Her response: Deep sigh. pushes a button, waits for soda to fill, slams the lid on it & roughly hands it out the window. No "have a nice day", "here you go", "thanks for stopping by McDonalds" - NOTHING! and then no napkins in my bag! Really? Very very poor reflection on McDonalds as an organization! As far as a McDonald's goes this store is actually pretty good. When the manager is around it is run like a WWII navy ship, but when he is not it is hit and miss in terms of expediency and quality. I mostly come here for the McFlurries,in the drive-thru, and you have to wait for the rest of your food for a few minutes while the ice cream melts. For a McDonald's, this one is barley OK. I won't comment on the food as I'm not a big fan of their food, but my kids are and so I will stop in here from time to time. There is no play area for the kids here, which I'm OK with since that means I don't have to stay as long. There is free WiFi. Service is a bit slow here and you get the typical teenagers working behind the counter. Half the time, they don't look like they really want to be here. read more

Why McDonalds doesn't get this owner under control is beyond me. The previous owner really cared about this store. It was always sparkling, his staff was always neat, clean, spoke good English and were taught that the customer comes first. This was lost with the current owner. Once in a while when the few really good people are working, it's good and th ey're very helpful. They know me. I'm old, walk with a cane so when the inside was open they would bring over my oder so I didn't have to try the balancing act along with my cane. All day breakfast is now gone with our current situation and the menu is even smaller! It's very hard for me to try to get there before 10:30 and I'm not sure if they are even making biscuit sandwiches which I freeze and eat one ever other day. The menu still shows all day breakfast. This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. I am a 25 year old black man and the entire staff including the male manager and woman wearing a hijab were very rude and ghetto. Was instantly greeted with attitude by the girl working the drive thru lane and told to hold on for a sec, a few minutes passed I said hello are you ready yet only to be snapped back at with her yelling I told you to hold on a sec, so I yelled back at her I don't know who you think you are and I need your name and to speak to a manger she than says I'm definitely not giving you my name after speaking to me like that so I pulled around to the window after waiting in the long line her male manager a black male with a weird boil inside of his mouth and on his outter lip greeted me with no name tag and I asked who was the girl speaking to me on the headset she screamed from behind him with an angry glee it was me and I was like okay I don't know who you think your talking to but I need your manager and the man continued to intervene so I asked if he was the manager he said yes so I told him my complaint he seemed unbothered or interested by how his employee was acting defending her behavior saying the headset dies extra up until the fat black girl working the drive thru decided to try and charge my car window as if she was going to attack me so he held her back was quiet closed his window and pushed her away from the window because I let her know that if she attacked me I was legally armed and would shoot her she proceeded to tell and lose her mind screaming about how she doesn't give a fuck and I'll go to jail and she doesn't care because I threatened her and than the random skinny light skin woman in the hijab or possible manager ran up saying oh he's not that bull he's not that bull don't worry about him and laughing so I recorded it pulled off and started filing complaints I recommend no one go there because even without the terrible ghetto attitudes and aggression they just move super slow and seem very unsanitary from what I could see in the drive thru all kinds of trash and things not swept on the floor and counters without a doubt the worst experience I've had ordering fast food! read more

if you want a mcflurry or any type of ice cream for that matter, don't come here because there's a good chance the ice cream machine "won't work". they also rarely give you enough sauce packets, even if you ask them. for example, i have asked multiple times for a 10-piece chicken nugget and two fries with ketchup and they would only give us one or two packets. it's not the franchise that's the problem, it's the workers. if only they could stop being lazy. read more

They didn't even start making the meal. I would not go here anymore. The customer service used to be great here about 2 years ago around breakfast and lunch time. There was an older gentleman that always worked the drive-thru (I can't remember his name) but he was always pleasant and up beat and would answer with "What can I get cha!?" Ever since he left the service just keeps declining. The drive thru lines in the morning are always long now and not to mention they can't seem to get your order right. What are they doing in there if the service is slow and they can't remember to include items you pay for? One day I went for lunch and asked for an ice cream cone. The cone looked so horrible that I thought the machine was broken. The ice cream was runny looking. The girl attempted to hand it over to me, I seriously thought she was going to tell me it was broken and refund my money... I didn't extend my hand out and told her "I don't want that!" So her supervisor looked at me like I was crazy and ended up making a better one. No one in this establishment knows how to be apologetic. So I didn't go for awhile. Started going a few weeks ago... For the most part everything was ok. Forgot my hash brown a few times that is included in the meal might I add. Today I went ordered hot cakes and a hash brown. The line was long per usual... It's Monday and I don't feel like going inside. Receive the pancakes, look in the bag no hash brown. So I whirl back around... The lady is looking at me crazy and doesn't even ask if something is wrong. I tell her I don't have a hash brown. She grabs one, attempts to look for a bag and hands the bag over. I said "Thank you" no response. Lol so I get to work... Send out a few emails and prepare to indulge ... No syrup in the bag. Perhaps it's my fault for not checking for every little thing that should be included. I'm not interested in eating these hot cakes without syrup. Irritated... I place everything back in the bag and call. Patrick whom says he's a manager answers. He's actually really nice and apologetic and offers me free food. I asked him for the women's name working the drive thru... He tells me he doesn't know her name because she's new. I find this very hard to believe. You are the manager and you don't know who is running your establishment currently? I've managed people for years... I always know who is working and/or called out and what they are working on and when they are done their shift. I laughed at him and told him don't worry about the free food, at this point I'm not interested in ever returning. I pick up the bag with the untouched food and take it back. Another manager Dave comes over and asks me what the issue is... Everyone looks at me like I'm in the wrong (they seem to make you feel this way after you spend your money there) the girl who was in the drive thru is standing there proudly with her headset on just looking at me. Dave gives me a refund for just the hot cakes I hold him he owes me $1.06 and he questioned me. I told him he forgot the hash brown... He said oh ok... And gives me all my money back. He gave me a free card for a free meal and asked me did I want replacement food. I politely declined. Dave did apologize, but it wasn't sincere and that's my issue with this location. We are humans... We make mistakes... But admit when your wrong... Fix if you can and not with an attitude. The End! read more

Dirty. Soda machine often needs refilling and staff often has excuse why they can't do it right now. Last time I got breakfast, biscuits were cold, hard and dried out. I have complained several times to the cashiers and managers that their menu board prices are not the same as what they are charging for items. One item was 0.20 higher than posted (before tax added). I don't think it is rocket science to change the menu board if you are raising your prices. Managers always say the same thing..."we'll get someone to look into it". Yet, the board has still not been updated. Sad management at this franchise. read more
