This place serves tourist coming to/from Hilton Head. We passed by in time for a late breakfast. There is a gas station in an adjoining lot, which adds to the convenience. We gassed up our vehicle and drove over to the McDonald's for some food. Food quality was in the standard range. All the ordering kiosks seemed to work, which was good. The smoothie machine was also functional. I got a fruit smoothie and an order of hash browns. Both came out quickly. If you want a fast stop heading for or back from a beach vacation, this is a convenient and efficient option. read more

If I could do half a star I would. I grew up in this area and got to see this place built.. even back then it was not good. I live in Florida but come visit every so often and even now... in 2024 you get awful service, missing items, cold/old fries made with old oil, and worst of all the customer service isn't even something I can rate because of how bad it is. Something needs to change at this location because it's been over 10 years with no improvement whatsoever.. hire new staff entirely or just close the place. As usual, everyone is at the drive-through. There were no customers inside. The staff completely ignored me. I didn't use the kiosk because it never allows me to make substitutions. Finally one of the women came over and told me that's why they have the kiosk is so they don't have to serve anyone upfront. I was not helped with any service at all!!! I had a very long and stressful day and decided to confide in my local McDonalds for a McFlurry. When I arrived at the window I was unfortunately met with a really rude lady. This unfortunately did not bring up my mood but instead made it worse. This location was filthy. Nothing had been cleaned in a very long time. Walked out. Literally the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been in.

This location is very clean and convenient for myself and many others who work and live in the area. Food is usually made perfect and other times made just well. Front crew members are always pleasant and do their best to make my experience a good one. Managers here range from rough to kind as do the other crew members. Some of the women making breakfast in the grill area seem to have a chip on their shoulder. They stare and do not smile when smiled at, it makes me feel bad for them but at the same time, it's their job to project a positive disposition. This McDonald's seems very hit or miss with its workers and I hope the person who owns this franchise is currently addressing these personnel issues. The good crew members are awesome!!
