I will not write a bad review about Waffle House EVER because they have never done anything wrong to me LOL! We live in Chicago and there aren't any of them around! This location gets a 10/10 for me because the service was amazing and my cheesy eggs were even better! I forgot the name of our waitress but she's from New York, thank you for making us laugh and being so nice!

Haven't had a bad meal yet. My streak was seasoned perfectly and cooked medium just like I asked. I'm sure you maybe thinking why order a steak from WH? Most saturday morning I want steak and eggs. Our server who also was the manager. Kept cutting us off while we were trying to place the order. Didn't off straws, ketchup, syrup or any other condiments. Thankfully the cooks were on point otherwise. This would've been a complete disappointment.

The food was good and decent as always no different then any other Waffle House I've been too. Plenty of available seats we got there before the morning rush. The coffee was bland and watery as always hahaha. The All star breakfast was clutch as always it's really the only thing I get..

I lived in Atlanta some 30 years ago and remember eating at the Waffle House after the bars would close at 4am ( good old days) anyway I saw it and had to eat here. They are very busy and cheap. Had a waffle and we also had the special 3 eggs double hash browns and toast with a coffee and my friend had a large OJ. The whole bill was like 15.00 I'm Seattle it would have been 30.00 for that. The waitress was named Peanut and she started out a little edgy but got better as we ate. Will return

We ordered a Barefoot Moscato, Fish N Chips, Fried Fish Basket and a Shrimp Quesadillas . The Fish N Chips were light with a golden touch that was very flavorful with a batch of the most mouthwatering chips! The shrimp was made to perfection and simply delicious. Omg, the Shrimp Quesadillas were filled with Sautéed peppers, onions along with a blend of cheeses. The meal was amazing! Customer service was on point and perfect. Our server Katie was fantastic. She was very polite and professional making sure that our meal was the best. The ambiance was very lit, clean and beautiful. I highly recommend visiting this location for a great meal and service if you're here in Beaufort. Ohhh, let me not forget this drink called Tequila Sunrise. This was a very fruitful vibrant splash of happy times in a glass!! This drink was so good I was loving it. Great way to end a fun filled evening!'

My entire stay at the hotel was successful because of the customer service that I received from the front desk attendant KaDemia, and the best bartender, Ashley! I only dined in a few times and the chicken wings were delicious. The cook will fry them hard on request!

Since reading the reviews prior to visiting, I wanted to try the Oyster Po-Boy. On the lunch menu, they had Combos where you can order a half Po-Boy along with soup or Gumbo for $13.95. The Oyster Po-Boy added an extra $1.00. So that's what I ordered----half oyster Po-Boy with Shrimp & Corn soup. The soup tasted like it may have been homemade. It was excellent with at least 6 medium size shrimp along with a delicious corn and seafood broth. The half Po-Boy was definitely a good size packed with large fried oysters. They had a separate room which I didn't visit. I'm guessing for larger parties or overflow. I believe they also serve alcohol although I didn't see a bar when I was there. Mainly people there for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

The ambiance has a jazzy New Orleans vibe to it and the food does too. You can get a plain American breakfast or sausage and gravy over the best home made biscuits in town. Two in our party got the River Road breakfast, One got the Spinach egg wrap and one got the Ugly egg Burrito. The grits were the best cheesy grits I've had in S Kendra was our lovely waitress who had a beautiful intoxicating smile. She recommended several of her favorite dishes and all were spot on. She obviously loves where she works. Not only has the menu been expanded to accommodate an evening meal but the space has been expanded to include a bar with seating area, extended seating and two pool tables. We Will definitely plan our next trip back for lunch or dinner. In fact, this might just become our new local when we visit our kids in HiltonHead SC.

The salad with pine nuts was tasty. The restaurant could accommodate our diet willingly. Our pizza was last to be served... about 5-6 minutes after all the other food was served. That was okay, but certainly not ideal. The other pizzas that were ordered looked covered with cheese and ingredients. While ours did taste good, the flavors in the sauce were quite nice, the toppings were very skimpy. I could hardly see any onions or basil and sparse mushrooms. Speaking from experiences of pizza at other places with our vegan request, typically the pizza is more loaded with the vegetables since we are not having any cheese (I.e. cost savings to the restaurant) to compensate and make the pizza look more substantial. It is a policy I would strongly recommend for us vegan folks. We would then return with company who would order the items off the menu... now we have no incentive to return because the pizza was ok but not worth the price. This is my humble opinion based on our travels outside of beaufort South Carolina. From the moment we sat down, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. Every bite tasted thoughtful and well crafted. The fresh juices were so flavorful and a perfect addition to our meal. What really stood out was how balanced everything felt: a creative, well-curated menu, excellent flavors, and top-notch service all coming together for a memorable meal. Lighting was darker than normal. Many of us liked the food. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi which was a special for the night. Can't say it was great. Didn't taste blackened for sure. Had to flag down staff 3-4x even though place was def not busy. Prices were very high, which we knew going in but I can say the squeeze wasn't worth the juice. Def didn't walk out thinking cost/benefit was worth it. Almost $300. In an odd shopping plaza with not-so-good signage. Easily missed if not for GPS. Again, food was good but prices are off, signage needs improved, atmosphere needs lil more light n staff needs training to be on point... esp if you're going to be an expensive restaurant.

A woodburning furnace crowns the middle of the room, and one could imagine watching the fire pop and dance inside the blackened heater. The team had guzzied up the interior for Christmas, with green garlands, red balls, and a fully decorated tree. The food was incredible: Pimento cheese oozing on top of crackers, a steak smothered in a Diane sauce- mushrooms reduced in a brandy. There were smiles all around as the cream cheese crap dip made the rounds- the bowl was scraped dry by the end. And in the spirit of christmas, the bartender created a margarita with a cinnamon twist- Cranberry on ice with an aged-blanco tequila and a rim dusted with sugar & spice. Service was where the restaurant has room to improve. The server lacked the attentiveness that might be expected in a fine-dining restaurant. And while there is certainly finer dining available around Beaufort and Port Royal, elevated service at this price point would make this restaurant a star.

I ordered the salmon, at 120-125 degree temp... well it was still cooked medium instead of medium rare. Tasted good. No sauce, which I asked for. But too salty... unnecessarily salty. I will try again but order RARE and see if they can cook to temp. The roasted potatoes were delicious, but for someone who watches oil intake... way too much oil was used. But I loved the way they smashed them a bit. The vericot verts were cooked to perfection and not salty. Yummy. My husband ordered the grilled tuna. He said his was great.
