7-21-24 Came here as we were starving as we hadn't eaten all day. Love Jersey Mike's as they are consistently good at all their locations. This one included. I ordered a whole cheese steak and it was cooked to perfection. You have to wait once you order but anything that is good is worth waiting for. Not so busy when we came as it was late afternoon early evening on a Sunday. We ate in and it was pleasant. Definitely will return when we are in the area. Last time ordering here! Had to make my husband's sandwich 4 times. One had cheese, he said no cheese. Another (we got this one to the car) had steak, not chicken. That could have sent him to the hospital as he hasn't had beef or pork in over 30 years. Finally got the right sandwich but no offer of compensation, not even the "wrong" sandwiches. I'm good with cheese and steak, lol. No free chips, soda or cookie offer. Not even an apology. Bad business! I called this store about 7 months ago when the cashier went from touching cash to cutting and wrapping my sandwich. The manager didn't understand the problem, even after I explained it several times. I love Jersey Mike's food, but there's always a problem when we go. Subway from now on! They usually screw up the order. They forget ingredients or add things you didnt want. Ordered a sandwich today and it looked like a coyote mauled it or it was jumped on plus was soaked in olive oil to a point where it was too soggy to eat. read more

The Jersey Mike's quality is there and the staff is prompt and polite. I've been coming to this location for years, but I'm dropping one star because the location itself is one of those "one-way" locations, meaning it's difficult to get in and out of if you aren't headed in the right direction on 170. Lastly, there are hardly any tables to eat outside and the dining room is very small. Other than those two things, it's fine. read more

Long day with movers, unloading, unboxing, etc, and took the easy solution for dinner ordering 4 sandwiches online. Every sandwich was wrong (even despite the missing mustard because they were "out"), chips & soda not in the order although purchased. Called to see about getting reimbursed for chips & soda. Manager on (Jamison) apologized for the inaccurate order, even apologized for the missing mustard which the staff were supposed to be informing customers about but were not. Could not do a reimbursement for the chips & soda, but offered to replace the order over the weekend and would leave a note. Very thoughtful! Called today to request the order and encountered a different manager (Kennedy). WOW!! How someone with the attitude she has found a way into managerial work is befuddling. The rudest individual I have ever encountered. She should find another line of work where maybe she does not have to interact with people?? Thank you for the replacement order, which you managed to screw up yet again, but at least remembered the chips and soda this time. As a new resident to this area I will not make the mistake of returning to this location unless they do some major retraining of staff, and at least 1 manager! I went in for my birthday gift only expecting a mini sandwich but the workers were soo nice and full of energy. Ben made me a regular sandwich and another worker started dancing and singing me happy birthday.Can't remember his name but he's one of the presidents on the Grand Canyon. Today while waiting in line for over 30 minutes, it seemed as if the only thing the employees were doing (other than moving in slow motion) was completing online orders. Several customers left after waiting an absurd amount of time. 20 customers, over 30 minutes and one customer eating. I'll come back, and give them another chance, but never again at lunchtime. 4 employees, but not much work occurring. All of the customers were evidently enjoying the 1980s/1990s musical ambiance, so no one was telling these G.A.F. employees a hard time. Shame on me for giving this site a second chance. Went a year ago and had a horrible experience but thought I'd try again believing that maybe the first time they may have been short staffed, training new or something. Ordered online this time. The mini wasn't a mini(if they were out they could've just told me), the order wasn't ready when I got there(no biggie, wasn't upset but they were working on it). Glad I was there or each one would've been done incorrectly. I caught the first one, which was supposed to be the mini. Started putting wrong condiments on the top. They cut another top but it was larger than the bottom and they didn't put all of the requested customizations. The sandwich artists were also wearing visor hats but it was hard to tell as their hair was hanging over them. I must also second other reviewers that mentioned that it is disorganized there and the employees seem to lack in caring about the job they are doing. This locations staff and or management has got to be the worst I've ever seen. They don't bother to start making pickup orders until you arrive and ask for it and then don't even tell you when it's done. I arrived 20 minutes after my order when the app said 15 so I wouldn't have to wait since I have a short lunch break. When I arrived I was told they were just starting my cold sandwich. I sat and watched as 15 other sandwiches were made and my food was still not ready. 30 minutes later when I asked them about it they said oh it's ready you're supposed to ask. Really? They knew I was there waiting for the food as I had just talked to the girl and she what immediately forgot? Apparently in house orders are more important and they didn't want my business. What was I supposed to interrupt them every 2 minutes and ask again if my food was ready? No they'd think that was rude and they were already rude to me. This is one of those times that I wish that there was the option for No stars. There is bad customer service and then there is no customer service. This is probably the worst run fast food restaurant that I have ever stepped foot in. From the moment that I walked in thing began going wrong. I actually thought about just walking out but didn't. I placed my order with a woman whom I could barely understand. The order sat there for a while as apparently she wasn't handling the hot sandwiches. after several minutes, a woman who I believe to be the manager started making sandwiches. She asked myself and others a couple of questions about how we wanted our sandwiches. She then informs me that they are out of white bread. Really??! A sandwich shop running out of white bread. I told her that wheat was fine. She was clearly frustrated even though all the customers were be accommodating and understanding. She then gets in a huff and goes into the back and making a phone call. She even pulls a a bread rack between herself and the counter so that no one could see her. After several minutes she she starts to bring sandwiches over to the counter. I go to the counter to pay for my order anticipating that my sandwich would be one of the next . In the meantime the woman who took my order tells a customer that they are out of all bread. Customers continue to come in, but none of the team members inform the customers that they are out of bread. Zero communication! Eventually, I left standing in the shop with one other customer waiting for our sandwiches. The manager blankly looks at me several times and asks me again what I had ordered. At no point did she she offer to make my sandwich or offer me a refund. She was explaining to the other customer that she didn't think that she could give him a refund because he had ordered gluten free bread and had already gotten a discount and that she would have to call her boss to see what she could do. I became so frustrated with the whole absurd scenario that I walked out. No sandwich and no refund. If I owned this shop I would be embarrassed by how poorly it is being run. Absolutely unbelievable! Unless you have management experience and are looking for a job I would avoid this place at all costs. I never write bad reviews. I know that we can all have a bad day and I understand the impact that a bad review can have on a small business. But this experience was so terrible that I felt that I had to say something. I hope that they can improve the situation and turn it around, because I believe that they have a good product. read more

My family is from New England. in the Deep South, finding good hot-subs that meet our high expectations is difficult. Jersy Mikes is one of the few who do it right. Sadly, I can only give 2 stars for this review. It is Father's Day, and my sister and I are visiting our parents who live in Okatie, SC (Retired) -we had been seeing the television advertising about the "No Contact" pickup when using the Jersy Mike's App. We assumed, based on the advertising this meant the employees at Jersy Mikes would be preparing our food in a responsible manner.. meaning.. All gloved up, and everyone wearing masks... as this is a very delicate time for food-service, in this summer of Covid-19. We arrived to pick up our order just around 1pm, and the number of customers in the store was high. No one was adhering to 'social distancing' The employees - we witnessed five of them... three of the five were not wearing masks... one being the cashier, and the other two doing food preparation. I didn't feel like we were in terrible danger of catching Covid-19 at this location, I don't want this to sound like I am trying to scare folk, but honestly, had I known the food preparation staff were so lax, I probably would not have ordered from this store. Yes, we did end up eating the food, I know that the risks are generally low if you take precautions, and we generally are very careful... I'm okay with once and a while letting my guard down, because we do this very seldom, and also I am just visiting Okatie SC for the week, I don't LIVE here... but the community around this location has a lot of folk who are high-risk group, so I am sharing this so that anyone who (like us) is really jonesing for a good sub.. but wants it to be prepared by 100% masked and gloved employees... at least at this store location ( 101-F Commerce Place West, Okatie SC ) -this is not the case. If you are very worried about Covid-19, This is not the store for you. I will certainly be remembering this store experience on my next visit to Okatie to visit my parents, and will just look elsewhere next time we want a good stake & cheese. read more

Terrible service. My first visit to Jersey Mike's (Okatie, SC) and definitely my last. The counter staff was horrible. The food was OK, but based on the staff, I will not go back. I ordered a Classic Italian in a bowl. One lady carefully counted out the slices of cold cuts. A second lady added the veggies, and sliced the cold cuts. After adding about 3/4 of the cold cuts to the bowl, she left the rest on the counter and put the lid on the bowl. I asked her why she did not add the rest of the cold cuts. She told me that the other lady included too much meat. I suggested that since she would just throw away the remainder that she add it to the bowl. After a few tense moments and conferring with the lady that sliced the cold cuts, she reluctantly added the remainder. A third lady at the register gave me heaps of attitude. Dreadful service. After my last review, I received a call from the manager apologizing for the mishandling of our group's order and was offered the opportunity to rectify if we would order again. We did and am pleased to update our previously negative review to a positive experience. There were 13 sandwiches in total and each was properly labeled, perfectly assembled and ready at pick up time! Love jersey mikes and used to work for them for over four years before the military. Great sandwich like always but today they cut through the paper the sandwich is on and somehow didn't even cut through the sandwich all the way. As a former employee we used to never cut ON the paper so you wouldn't make a mess with oil and vinegar. Oh well. Guess not all jersey mikes cut the sandwich and THEN place the sandwich on the paper.
