Stopped at this McDonald's and while the food itself was fresh and hot even with a line wrapped around the building the service left a lot to be desired. The guy taking orders seemed more focused on texting than getting the order right, and I ended up with the wrong drinks. He told me to pull up to spot #2 and said someone would bring them out, but after waiting 10 minutes with no update, we ended up leaving. Absolutely terrible experience. This McDonald's is consistently disorganized, understaffed, and careless. Orders are wrong or missing items almost every visit, and the food is often cold like it's been sitting out far too long. The restaurant itself is dirty, tables aren't cleaned, and trash overflows even when it's not busy. Customer service is just as bad--employees seem annoyed to even be there, and management clearly isn't paying attention or doesn't care. Long wait times, no communication, and zero accountability when mistakes are made. McDonald's is supposed to be fast and consistent, but this location fails on both. I went inside to do a takeout because the drive-through was absolutely slammed, ordered through the kiosk, several people ordered behind me. They got their orders first, and make matters worse. By the time I got outside the drive-through line was gone with the exception of one car. When did service inside become slower than the drive-through as I drove away? Came here after a late flight, and I wanted to get some food and go. I went through the drive thru, on the left side and started to order. I could have sworn I heard someone, so I replied. I sat there for a min or two and noticed two cars using the other lane, so I moved to that lane. I ordered and paid for my food. I received my food at the next window, without any greeting or anything. The young lady basically handed me my food and never asked if I wanted anything else, maybe some condiments. I went up there to this McDonald's because the app, Google, Apple Maps, and their own building advertised that their dining room was open 24 hours. There is no additional signing posted stating a change to the availability of the dining room in the evening. (Photo of door signage below) I went up to this specific restaurant because I want a McDonald's coca-cola. That was it. I do not drive, I cannot use the drive thru. After I noticed the door was locked, I tried calling the restaurant because I thought that, clearly, a mistake had been made. As the phone rang, the crew member--phone in hand--made eye contact with me and sat the phone down as if to signify that she refused to answer the phone. There was another crew member sitting by the window, so I knocked gently and asked her to get a manager. After she walked to the back, two people come waking up extremely upset-looking and ready to fight. The girl, who I assume is the manager, starts off her piece by saying that she's already called the police (Not a great start), and proceeds to berate me with a string of obscenities. She then finishes with "and we wouldn't serve a FAGGOT like you anyway" read more

Oh where do I begin. I got there and ordered my son a happy meal and when we looked at the burger it was raw! My son just sat there staring at me, I asked him to go to the bathroom to wash his hands, and oh boy, that bathroom. There was a dead rat next to the stalls. An old man was peeking out from the bottom. After that disaster I took a sip of my coffee, just to find out it was entirely ice. There was legit no coffee to be found in my cup. I went up to the counter to hear the clinking of annoying sound of plates clattering. People started yelling and starting a food fight. After this, I tried to rush me and my son to our car, only to realize that our car has been hijacked and hot wired by a guy in the street. I come here very often, but my experience today was horrible. I ordered a spicy deluxe crispy chicken sandwich. Came home to find out it was just chicken, bun, and some little sauce. Where was my tomatoes? Where was my roman lettuce? Why did i pay for extra and didn't even get what I wanted? I then proceeded to try and call them SEVEN times with no one picking up the phone. The guy taking the order today was terrible and kept screwing up the order. He didnt know how to use the QR code etc and we go through the entire breakfast order and then he says they are no longer doing breakfast. So then I asked for 2 chicken nuggets and a big mac. Pulled up to second window and got one chicken nugget and they said go back around and order they can't help me. I had no choice but to go back around because it was for another child. We get halfway home and there's a giant black hair in the middle of the big mac! Never again. This place is slow, food is cold and clearly doesn't care about customer service! Midnight to 5 AM... I am usually impressed by the workers patience & attitude being 24 hour 7 day a week drive-thru & dine-in establishment. Constant business with people in the drive-thru is one thing, but add weird people coming inside to use Wi-Fi, get out of the weather or just relax for a minute in the middle of the night has to be stressful. It is still a McDonalds- so the food isn't completely healthy or tasty, but it is cheap & fast. Being available in the middle of the night when most places are not makes me grateful. read more

If I could give zero stars, this would be the time I have not been disappointed at a place many times as much as this McDonald's at Hanley in St. Louis. I always order my food using the mobile app. It's convenient allows you to pay directly. All you have to do is tell them your mobile order number and they will give you the food through the drive-through. Lately, to my surprise (especially around nine or 8 PM) once you make it all the way to the drive-through they tell you they're only considering delivery app orders. This is not anywhere in their website and they don't tell you to stop ordering new food or give you any warning. You'll have to drive to the restaurants and once you make it to the drive-through, you get surprised "they only taken orders from delivery apps" so disappointed this so far happened to me twice in 30 days. I will probably never come to this location even though that it's convenient and close to my house. read more

Well... where to begin. Have been here two days in a row due to unusual circumstances with schedule. Both days had employees standing around doing nothing, including not helping customers, leaving that work to one employee. Yesterday two employees were threatening to "kick each other's [backside]". Today apparently an employee had to bring her children to work, which generally I wouldn't have an issue however these two were screaming the entire time, running from the counter, to other customers tables, back to their spot around the blind corner where they were setup with books and such, however they were way too young to be sitting alone around the corner without a responsible adult being able to keep an eye on them. If you said 8, you would be wrong, it's 6 at this location, although they are happy to charge you extra if you would like that 7th and 8th sauce. Did you know that prices also vary by location? The stale buns they provide on the cheeseburger and the rude manager are free of charge though. My suggestion is to try another location. read more

This may be the second worst McDonalds in the STL area. I ordered here yesterday and as usual my order was incorrect. Plain cheeseburgers with cheese only had everything on it and I was given no napkins or sauces. A fish sandwich was missing. I had stopped driving thru this one because of the terrible service and missing items. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my orders have been 100 percent incorrectly provided from this location for true past year. I think I am giving up on McDonald's. Tried calling several times with no answer also tried the St. Louis county health department with no answer. Had trouble understanding the attendant while placing my order and apparently she had problems also because I had to correct the order upon review which seemed to irritate her. She was impatient and rude. When I got to the window, all but the icecream was passed out and when the server went to close the window I asked for it to which he said, "oh, that machine is broke." He turned to leave again and I asked whether I would get a refund. I was told to drive up. No one came out so I went up to the door and was told I couldn't come in. When I asked about the refund, the young lady said she would get someone. After a couple of minutes, a very angry person came out with my money and retorted "I was on my way out!"
