To start off by saying keep on driving down Olive to another restaurant, these people have no idea what they are doing there. I ask for a #2 and what I got was a Big Mac with a small fries...WTF I did not order this and the guy behind me grab my tray and gave me his....I told the manager made me another one I am not taking this at all. After they got there order straight I was sitting in the dinning room freezing my ass off, and you know it was raining all day in Burbank....maybe turn of the AC and save some money, but it get better here. Now I want to leave the parking lot and got stuck in for about 30 minutes, hell no I would not even come here ever again. The tables where very dirty. The floors was wett, maybe someone can slip and fall. Restrooms OMG they need major cleaning including the door handles, it was gross. There are few things I expect when I order fast food. I expect it to be greasy... I expect it to be tasty... and I expect it NOT TO COME WITH HAIR IN IT! I just pulled a black curly hair out of my 6 piece nuggets. Going to add a photo... I might vomit in my hand. I know McDonald's is far from gourmet food... Hell, it's where tastebuds go to die... but this is just the icing on the lard covered, plastic filler, pressed from molds cake. I need an adult. The way this McDonald's property is laid out is TERRIBLE. It is very difficult and honestly DANGEROUS to access. Cars trying to back out of their spots can easily hit your car, and the drive through is ghettooooo. It looks like a construction zone. Bad landscaping, to. Last night 5/21 i went to mickie ds around 1 Am, and every single time i make sure to ask for mac sauce. I asked twice thru the speaker and once thru the window AND EVERY SINGLE TIME U GUYS NEVER GIVE ME MAC SAUCE. i literally never complain on yelp but this is the reason i will. Every time I come to this mc Donald's I get screwed one way or another. There is always something missing in the bag. They never ask if you want ketchup etc. unfortunately my husband loves to drive Thur here me I Luke go with out it. Just this last Friday I drove though the mc Donald's on riverside dr and they left out a chicken sandwich. And today I got a chicken sandwich and the chicken on it was so tiny it only covered 1/2 the bun and only two tiny pieces of bacon. (See picture) They always ask you to check the drive Thur screen to see if order is correct but they really need to check themselves in the bags before they hand it to you. read more

I have been to this location three times in the last month with my toddler to get her a milkshake. Every single time I go there the ice cream machine is broken and they say that they are unable to make milkshakes. You should be able to offer a staple item every day of the week and if your ice cream machine is constantly broken get a new one. read more

While waiting for my food I was watching the cashier who handles money and then he makes coffee, and handles food etc. without washing his hands. When I pointed this out their English is so bad it's hard for them to understand or communicate. Another lady working there who I saw handle cash also wasn't going to wash her hands I'm sure until I said something. But then I think she went to the back to wash her hands and she explained to me oh we're so busy. I said well being busy is no excuse not to take two seconds to wash your hands. Absolutely one of the worse run McDonalds I have ever been to and I am not exaggerating. Came here at 1:15pm on a Friday which is pretty much lunch rush hour. There was a long line because there was only one register open. As I was waiting in line I noticed three employees standing by that area where the food slides out and they can grab what they need to put it in a bag or in a tray. Well I was 8th in line and watching these three employees just stand there waiting for the food and just talking amongst each other and not caring about anything else. Please don't forget that only one register was open and the drive thru window. So are there really that many people needed to get the food? Someone said really loud that why aren't more registers open, the employees looked and then looked away and stopped talking. All of a sudden everyone is working and looking busy. Then the Manager shows up and takes a register. About time. The manager takes my order and the total seems kind of low so I asked if that was right. She just said yes. Wouldn't you think they would recap your order? So I asked her to go over my order and it was wrong. Then of course they brought the wrong order. The gentleman who brought my order couldn't speak English (perfectly fine, I'm all for anyone and everyone working if they want to work) so I had to take it back up there to show my receipt. Then the worse part are three kids on some tables near us. They were about 7 to 10 years old and they were using the toys from their kids meal and screaming and yelling. Everyone in the restaurant was looking at them and wondering who is responsible for them. When they would throw the toys they toys would go across the floor and hit people in the foot literally 30 feet away. So they were not just making noise in their area. The two moms who they all belong to were in the kids play area facing the play structure and talking not even paying attention. This older gentleman was doing some work and the screaming got so noisy he looked like he was about to yell at them he was so disgusted. Finally a dad eating with his two kids went to the Manager to complain. She looked surprised and said something to one of he employees so that person went over to the kids and started speaking them to them. Of course the moms came over for them play area and started yelling at her kids to stay in the play area. Yeah like now they are paying attention to them. This is a trashy McDonalds. I am never going back unless it's just to pick something up through the drive thru. The manager is simply terrible and doesn't know how to handle a restaurant. Never again. read more

Like other reviews I agree that the drive thru is extremely slow. I would have gone inside but the drive thru makes it difficult to park if the line gets too long. As for the food McDonald's is McDonald's, and if I have the craving again I would go to another location. read more

Since the McRib is back I went here tonight to get my McRib fix over with and I come to find out they now charge an extra 80 cents for extra sauce. When I asked the manager if they now charge for extra tartar sauce on the Filet of Fish or extra sauce on the Big Mac he said they do. I asked him why and he just grinned and said "the owner." This is my go-to location because it's convenient. The daily staff are usually polite and greet you with a smile. My only gripe is the day manager (I think her name is Maria), she's always grumpy and rude. I use the McDonald's app for deals and it'll glitch up once in awhile. OK no problem, the staff will accommodate when that happens, EXCEPT for Maria, she will literally accuse you of cheating her - Uhh yes i'll just spend 5 mins of my life trying to cheat you out of a $1 iced coffee. C'mon McDonalds, us customers and your employees deserve better than to have Maria ruin our experience at your store. 1/2 star for Maria, 4.5 stars for the rest of the staff at this location. read more

After spending about 5 million or more to advertise free wi fi, mcdonalds forgot one little thing: to advertise free wi fi means you should have more than one (1) power outlet in the entire place. I have met people at starbucks and elsewhere in Burbank who all know there is only one outlet in this mcdonalds and thus do not come here to wifi. Explains why the place is empty at night. EMPTY. The mall one mile to the West has a full del taco, subway and carl's all night long. GHOST TOWN. Don't come for breakfast, an obnoxious cabal of seniors freak out and harass you if you try to sit near the outlet. Today I am sitting plugged in, with one homeless man ranting for over 45 minutes 3 feet to my left, and the seniors talking over their KFWB portable radio blaring 3 feet to my right. Managers don't give a crap. Employees barely speak English enough to take orders. Don't bothering complaining to the mcdonalds corp website. Empty set. read more

I usually try to avoid McDonalds but I'll get a sausage biscuit or a mcflurry once or twice a year. The other day I decided that I needed to run into this mcDonalds really quickly on my lunch break for some ice. ( I had brought lunch but I needed some ice for my soda since there are no ice trays in the break room freezer) So I ran across the street and ordered a McFlurry and a cup of ice. They charged my card and then handed me my receipt and a little paper shot glass. I asked if I could have a bigger glass and they said that's all they could give me for free. I really needed the ice to enjoy my meal so I was pretty upset. I would have even paid for a cup just to fill it with ice if they had told me before hand but I was not about to make another purchase on my credit card and get screwed over for a cup of ice. So to summarize: Wendy's, Burger King, Jack in the Box, KFC, Taco Bell, In n Out, and Carls Jr. all have small 12-14 oz cups that have lids that you can get for FREE for ice or ice water. But McDonalds has little paper shot glasses that hold about 4 ice cubes and have NO LIDS! epilogue: Jason walks up to soda fountain with pathetic little paper shot glass and finds out that they are also out of Ice. He walks away remembering why he avoids McDonalds. read more

OK, so reviewing a McDonald's is pretty useless. They all serve the same food, and it's all bad for you. The only thing that differs is the service.... and this place SUUUUUUUCKS DIIIIIICK. I work a graveyard shift around the area every now and then and McDonald's is just a necessary evil. But Jeeeeeessssssusssssssssss. It's like everyone there plays a game called "How long can we all make eye contact with this one dude in line before anyone offers to help or even say anything. Somebody else here stated the truth = "...reviewing a McDonald's is pretty useless..." But I too have to report a couple nasties. 1 = I got a Quarter Pounder that had about a quarter of a pound of salt. A chunk of salt must have fell on the burger somehow (or on purpose?) Since it is McDonald's I let it go and certainly didn't write a yelp review. 2 = As if I didn't learn my lesson the first time, I returned about a month later. I went inside to avoid the long drive through line. While waiting for my food, I noticed a couple dozen little fruit flies or some small tiny flying things. They were swarming the ketchup dispensers near the drink fountains. I was going to lean over and vomit in the trash hole but then noticed a ton of them in there. I left without my food or refund.
