Robert, at the register made excellent recommendations and everyone that we encountered from the staff was super pleasant and helpful. It's a typical burger restaurant but I'm a sucker for a chicken sandwich and their buffalo version didn't disappoint (I'd ask for more buffalo sauce next time, but it was still tasty) Good onion rings and fries. Been years since my first time here so wanted to try again. You order at the register, get a number a nd find a table. The person Janissi, who helped me out was very friendly. I ordwred a mishroom burgef, onion rings and fries with a soda. Theres a self serve drink machine. The mushroom burger was really good and surprisingly had crazy cheese pull lol. The onion rings were crunchy and maybe a bit too crunchy for my taste. But I could see some people would lile that. And they went well with the ranch. While I was eatinf I could sew the Janissi making rounds with customers to take trays and make sure everyone is good. Love that! Anytime I'm craving a quick burger, this is probably my go to spot. Service is exceptional, they're always asking you if you need anything during your meal and even offer to take your things for you so you don't have to worry about your leftover stuff. It's almost like a fast food type of sit down restaurant if that makes sense. Their trio is always a must which include regular fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings (my favorite) my go to burger is usually the hickory burger because it has all the best things in there including the crispy onions. My first time visiting this chain(I think) as it was convenient to where I was staying. They are located in the Empire Shopping center in a cluster of other restaurants as well. Plenty of parking as it's also shared with the other restaurants. Indoor and outdoor seating area which was nice. You order at the counter and grab your number. Your order is bought out to you when it's ready. The burger was delicious and the fries were good as well. The onion rings were decent but not as good as eveything else. This location has been on my to go list for a while. finally I got the chance to go and it did not disappoint. I ordered the combo meal that comes with cheeseburgers , fries and drink. Cheeseburgers tasted fresh and good. Fries were not frozen like some locations. They were fresh cut fries. Lady who helped me with ordering was really nice and welcoming. She explained the menu items and what to ordered. She didn't rush me to order. She was pleasant to talk to. For the ambiance, this location is very clean. It was very organized. Fountain drink station clean, no trash sitting around. There is inside and outdoor sitting area. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit outside. Parking can be tricky. The outdoor seating in nice weather, quick service and friendly staff are all great. We decided to dine here because the Volunteers at the Burbank Animal Shelter were having a fundraiser. We love when locate businesses support our city. Wish they had more or even any in the valley really! They closed the one in Woodland Hills and replaced it for a Starbucks (as if we don't have any). Hook Burger is great. Everything there is well made and fresh. It is all super tasty. The service is nice and fast. The place is kept very clean and it is just a fun place. Now, I love their burgers, but this review is about their salads. I have had them all I think at this point and each one is wonderful. Their Bistro Salad has greens, tomatoes, dried cranberries which are so good. It also has goat cheese and sliced almonds. You can get any protein you want on the top. The BBQ Chicken Salad is a must try. Filled with baby greens, tomato, cilantro, red onion, cucumber, black beans, chopped bacon, BBQ chicken, crispy tortilla strips, and homemade ranch dressing. It is filling and every bite is great. Try their Chicken Caesar Salad. It is better than most Caesars. It has chopped romaine hearts that are so very fresh, shaved parmesan, croutons, house made Caesar dressing, all topped with grilled chicken breast. The Cobb is maybe my favorite, I always change my mind. It is so good with chopped romaine hearts, tomato, bacon, egg, gorgonzola, red onion, fresh avocado, grilled chicken breast, all in a house red wine vinaigrette. It is just s =o crispy and fresh. The Asian Kale salad is not something I order often. I am not a huge fan of kale, but I love love the peanut ginger dressing. It also has red leaf lettuce, cabbage, carrots, red bell pepper, cilantro, toasted almonds, and is topped with perfectly cooked grilled chicken breast. The Wedge salad is amazing. It has iceberg lettuce, chopped tomato, red onions, bacon, fresh avocado, crumbled blue cheese, and a tasty house made dressing. They might have others, I am not sure.
