I have been to this same location multiple times since it's the only McDonald's in the area. Every time I have cake to the drive-thru it literally takes like 30-40 mins for a regular order and they tell everyone to pull to the side. I came inside today and figured it would be quicker to get my 1 frape and large fries. It's been 18 minutes and I am still waiting while I write this. There must be a way to fix this. While heading back home from our Disneyland trip, I had to use the bathroom and decided to drop by this place for a restroom break and for lunch. When we walked in, there was a "cash only" sign on the door. Then I noticed that the penguin toys for the happy meal was sold out. I went ahead and ordered anyways. I ordered 2 happy meals and stated one boy and one girl but ended up getting 2 girl toys. I also ordered one spicy chicken sandwich and the 2 cheeseburger combo for my husband. After paying for my order, the cashier only gave me 2 cups so I had to ask for another cup. When I went to fill our cups, they didn't have any sweet tea so I got coke instead. The food is the same but we noticed a lot of flies inside the restaurant. The bathroom is much larger than the other McDonald's I've seen off the I-5 freeway but it smelled like urine. There were also flies in the trash can (inside the bathroom stall). While leaving the restaurant, the whole area smelled like urine and it made me felt like vomiting. Food was better than other McDonalds I have eaten at. I got a 10 piece chicken nugget, fries, and a chicken sandwich. The chicken nuggets were probably the best I have ever had here as there was not this sense of what mystery meat am I eating. Fries as always were good. The chicken sandwich was gross. Anyhow, only super negative thing about this place is that the women's restroom was seriously out the door. Was doing a road trip to hike the Grand Canyon and this was one of our stops for breakfast and to go peepee and what not. Its like any other McDonalds out there really. Although the McDonalds in the area where I live don't really have TVs. But this was a great pit stop even though I am not a big fan of fast food places. Then again a Sausage breakfast burrito and a hash brown didn't really set me back on my hike either haha and it tasted pretty good. I actually wanted to try Tita's Pupuseria right across the street but hopefully I will make another trip where I pass this town again. Convenient location for SoCal-NorCal travelers.. Large with plenty of seats including outdoor.. But beware of animal smells if you attempt the outdoor seating. Other than that, I'm a fan of McDonald's oatmeal but this one was too watery :(. But hey, I'd still come back for a quick pit-stop. read more

After the horrible experience at the Buttonwillow Dennys, me and my boyfriend came here and were treated nicely and respectfully, and it's sad to say.. but we should have stuck to McDonald's. It's a safe bet anywhere you go. As for the dennys, I couldn't find anywhere to review it on here.. but they were staring at us as we were eating and asked if everything was okay and I said yes politely, and then they returned behind the counter to proceed laughing and staring at us. I come almost daily & today was the first day I saw this young lady at the drive thru. She's rude. Maybe she's having a bad day but don't take it out on me. Or maybe it's because I had to correct my order in the drive thru ordering screen, I don't know. But as with every McD when I stick my arm out at the drive thru window, I have my phone and money in the same hand. My phone because of the McDs app and my money for payment after they scan the code. EVERY person at any McDs always scans or types in my code first to see if my code has a coupon attached. This was the first time someone took my money first. And it wasn't nice, I felt like she just ripped it out of my hand. I had to say excuse me loudly so she would scan my code. She did, she came back with the scanner and scanned my code. Then she handed me the change and receipt. No smile, no acknowledgment. So I'm putting the change in my purse and she returns with my drink and says here you go as I'm putting my change away, which she can clearly see I'm doing because she can see in my car. She says if again, rudely and loudly, HERE YOU GO. I turned to her and said I heard you the first time. I grabbed my drink and she shut the window. Bring back any of the other 3 that I've encountered in the window. read more

This location is quite clean compared to many other McDonald's I've visited. They were playing Disney movies inside. Very quick and friendly service. So my husband and I stopped at Buttonwillow for the night on our way to Chico. He went across the street from the Motel 6 for cheap breakfast. He was so upset they forgot to give him his cream and sugar so I offered to go get it. There was a young girl with braces who was very nice and very sorry about the cream and sugar. Everything was ok, I went back to our room only to find out they had forgotten my parfait as well! I went back AGAIN and by this time I was getting upset. I told myself this stuff happens. The older lady who helped me this time seemed to be a manager. She looked over the receipt like I was some menace looking to score a free parfait. Then I was very upset. I got back to the hotel only to notice the double checked for accuracy sticker on my order. Now I was very upset. Not only did I have to walk back there twice to correct their errors but the second time this lady made me feel extremely shitty for asking for what I had already paid for! I feel it is my duty as a fellow citizen to write this review. We ordered chicken nuggets for our kids and I was shocked to find that the nuggets were completely uncooked! Let me say it again, the nuggets were completely uncooked! The breading was brown on the outside but the inside was cold, slimy, raw chicken. I recently stopped in on my way to San Jose, it was a very displeasing experience. The order taker was very rude, rolling her eyes after I asked for napkins, and corrected her about wanting a medium drink not a large , and wanted sweet tea not plain.I wanted no salt on my fries, only received what seemed to be from the bottom left overs that were re-fried? when ask for correction on my drinks, I said" I wanted mediums for the game pieces, she slammed my 2 cups at the window counter before handing me my order, while I was saying "Thank you" she shut the window. We travel a lot between our crib in LA and my bro on laws place in the Bay area(Santa Clara). We stop by this MCD for peeing and eat some junk. They maintain their toilets clean and service is fast..No complaints...Its a MCD and what else can you expect with food quality. Today I have the new Caramel shake on my way from Bay Area to LA. Came here tonight at 9pm, all the lights were off in the parking lot and including the McDonald's sign but the drive through was still lit up. Looked closed. We drove up to the drive through. There was a sign over it that said "Drive thru closed, you're welcome to come inside." Was going to go inside anyway because we needed to use the restroom, which, the women's restroom was disgusting. Trash and toilet paper all over the bathroom, every stall, and the main entry way. The first stall doesn't even lock properly. The handicapped bathroom was the only useable one and the trash can was knocked over inside which all of its contents spewed everywhere. The entire restaurant was rather trashed as well. They were out of ice cream also. Two of the sweet and sour sauces we got were crushed and spilling everywhere. Surprisingly the rest of the food was good, double cheeseburger and chicken nuggets. Overheard one of the employees mention they were understaffed that night.
