This was one of the best McDonalds I've ever been to. I went here on Christmas, where I expected to have not much service as usual restaurants do, but THERE WAS SERVICE and it was splendid. They personally served us food and even gave us free hot water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was great and lively and kept the atmosphere up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They helped take our dirty trays too. Furthermore, the food was awesome. We ordered the breakfast combo, and the sausage was cooked to near perfection, the eggs were scrambled beautifully, and the coffee could bring upon the third Great Awakening. I haven't had McDonald's in at least a couple of years. Today I returned from Europe and had been traveling for just over 24 hours. I was hungry and figured I would stop at good ole McDonald's on Daily Drive in Camarillo. I went through the drive through and ordered the #7, two cheeseburgers and fries. I was handed the bag by a nice young they/them. I jumped back on the freeway to head home. I reached into the bag to discover the fries were cold, but worse yet there was only one cheeseburger. If i could give this place zero stars i would, If you're in a hurry or coming in on your lunch break, I'd strongly suggest choosing another location. The service here is consistently slow even if you place your order ahead of time through the app, you'll likely still end up waiting 20+ minutes for your food. It honestly defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. This has happened more than once, so it's not just a one-off bad day. Staff seems overwhelmed or disorganized, and there's no urgency at all. Not what you expect from a fast food spot. Hopefully management steps in and gets things back on track, but until then, I wouldn't recommend stopping here if you're on a schedule. I always hate leaving bad reviews but I definitely had too. I bought my wife and daughter food. My daughter's chicken nuggets were good and so were the fries. However my wife's Big Mac was horrible the meat taste was disgusting. This is the first time it's happened to us here in Camarillo. The Oxnard McDonalds have been good so far. I really hope the owners of this McDonalds start checking the quality of their food because I payed $10 dollars for that burger to go to the trash and for my wife to throw up. Absolutely unacceptable experience! I placed an online order, but when I arrived, the store is closing besides it says 24hr. Not only did I not receive my food, but the staff refused a refund, blaming 'McDonald's corporate' for the mobile order issue and telling me it wasn't their fault. The shift in approach to eliminate human counter service is terrible. It forces people into the drive-thru line and that line is longer than ever. If I want to wait in a drive-thru line for 15-20 minutes, I'll go to In n Out. Inside the kiosks are often broken, which you typically don't discover until you've gone through the effort to place your order. Kiosks also don't provide the opportunity for many modifications or substitutions. This change will push me to go more often to Jack in the Box. Bring back human interaction. read more

You are met with a nasty window worker demanding that you "count" the sauces for her. They also do not want to hand you a receipt. Fortunately I took my receipt. I never leave reviews for fast food spots but the breakfast was so on point at this Mickey D'Souza that I just had to. The hash browns were CRISPY not oily. CRISPY! Just the way they should be.
