After waiting for 20 min I had to go in and ask for my order (I ordered two sides of apples a coffee and ONE hash brown), it should not have taken more than 8min! Ordered using the kiosk, it told me to chose a number and place it on table. Almost 30 min went by and no food. Finally went up and asked to check on our order and the manager told me it was sitting in the to go pick up area. I asked her why it was there if it was for here and why wasn't it brought to the table. She told me it was just put there. I checked and the fries were cold , obviously had been sitting there for a while. Made her make me new fries. I asked for a couple of packets of honey mustard, they told me they don't give them out and wanted to charge me. This location is terrible. This McDonalds is located off of Santa Rosa in Camarillo. They have a drive thru. Came for breakfast at 8am. I go through the drive thru & order the egg white delight meal. The girl at the 1st window seemed new, as she looked like she was getting trained. At the 2nd window, I Got my food & Drove off. As I take my 2nd bite, I find a strand of black hair in my egg white delight. I pull it out, yup definitely a strand of hair. Im like yuuck! So I just tear that piece off. I continue to eat my breakfast sandwich. Near the end of my sandwich, Idk what made me look, but I did, & what did I find again. It looked like an eyelash or black eyebrow hair. Omg, that's it. The worst McDonalds I've ever been to in California. I live down the block and get McDonald's 1-2 times a week and they've never gotten my order right in a year in a half. One guy works there who knows what he's doing and all the girls working there are so horrible and rude and just dirty. They look dirty. And I'm a female, a really chill one so I'm not being sexist. That's just how I'm describing them so you know who they are. Fire them immediately. Reminding them my order 3 times then still forgetting half of it. I go inside to get it and they act busy and starting working instead when they see me they turn their backs. My neighbors said the same thing. Well, that was interesting. For starters, the cashier gave me incorrect change. She punched my order in correctly. The price was correct, trusting the computer's computations. I gave cash to the cashier and somehow I found, later, that she ended up giving me a few dollars more than what was required. That was a bit strange. This is the closest McDonald's on my route to work... I pass by 90% of the time to grab a quick bite before my shift usually starts. I've been using the McDonald's app since it first released middle of last year. I was recently told by a female morning manager (wearing a green/turquoise shirt) that I'm not using the app correctly... I tried explaining to this manager that I have been using the app for almost a year now but all she can tell me is that I'm not using it correctly? I further explained to her that it's simple to use... when I place my order and drive up, the app sends information to the store and I "check-in" by telling the drive-they person the 4-digit code given by the app. The manager then tell me me it's a 4-digit number and has no letter?! Shockingly I tell her it's actually 2 letters and two numbers. She said I'm wrong and am not giving the correct info to the drive-thru hahaha... I expect a manager to understand the workings of their own app and be able to troubleshoot when something happens to a persons order that the restaurant did not receive... I did not expect the manager to blame the customer and tell the customer that they don't know what they're doing! I now understand why this McDonald's has such a low rating. The owners probably don't give a rats ass what the managers tell customers or what customers think about the management. On the other hand... the male morning manager with long hair has always been good with me and knows my face cause I'm always there. Even greets me with a smile and asks how my day is going... 3/14/19 How is it that employees at this McDonald's always seem to screw my order up... Yesterday they forgot to out sugar/cinnamon on the donut sticks and forgot raisins for the fruit and maple oatmeal. I gave it one star because ZERO wasn't an option. I went to this McDonalds on Saturday March 11th. I waited at the counter for five minutes without being greeted or have anyone take my order. I was in a hurry as I was going to a movie across the street so I ordered through the kiosk. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese plain but it came without cheese and only had pickles. I realiezed my mistake in ordering at the kiosk (I had only said no onion and no mayo, leaving the pickles). Anyhow, I went to the counter and waited another 4 minutes for somone to acknowledge me. The girl behing the counter walked by at a snails pace at least 4 times. Finally I said "excuse me" and she came over. I asked to have a slice of cheese added to the burger since it was my mistake. I got the burger back and they decided to arrange a whole layer of pickles on top on the hamburger bun. I thought it was a little rude, it came across as saying you only ordered ppickles. I take the burger back to my seat and took a bite. It was RAW inside. I went back to the counter to try to get it cooked more and NO ONE would come over to me. I gave up and left. I understand the mistake on ordering was on me, but had a human taken my order they would have known I only wanted meat, cheese and a bun. I spent over $30 on a meal for two and it was CRAP!!! This McDonald's is getting five stars from me. They have a peppermint flavoring this season, but when I order through door-dash it is not an option to add it to my mocha Frappuccino. So I called to find out why it wasn't an option and I was told by a nice gentleman that I just need to place my order and then call them and let them know that I would like to add the peppermint flavor to my Frapp. I have done this about five times now because I'm obsessed with this drink seasonal flavor and each time I call they are so sweet and add it for me with no hassle. Thanks guys! Keep up the great customer service. PS If you haven't tried this you need to give it a try. I'm not a peppermint person but there's just something about it that I keep coming back for more and will be sad when it's gone. read more

The workers were cheerful attentative and even held the door when I was entering and exiting. We had to make pit stop with our pup and chose this location because there is a nice park like grassy area adjacent to the parking lot. It's McDonald's, what do you expect? Fine dining? No, but for a quick snack or when laziness sets in? It's what we ALL know and hate to admit we like. Who cares about customer service, you know where you are. This location is horribly inconsistent with their food though. Sometimes, it's amazing (for McDonalds) but most of the time it's just not even close to good. I've had everything from metal tasting chicken McNuggets to burnt meat and buns with cold fries. I still come here from time to time but when I do I ask them to make everything fresh. And they will without question and politely [except for one time when the rude ginger gave me attitude and said 'here's your FRESH Coke' ... Haven't seen him since]. I'm a little annoyed because I've come here twice now recently at about 7:30 in the morning to get a mocha frappe and been told that they were cleaning the machine. I had no time in either situation to sit and wait for them to finish, so we headed out without ordering anything. However, in between those times, we managed to order a frappe at 7:30 am no problem. I don't know what the cleaning schedule is, but my main complaint would be: please consider cleaning your machines earlier in the morning? A lot of people are heading to work and want coffee (such as myself) at the same time you clean the machines. read more
