Texts between customer about wait time and service.

Food: Mid Service: Horrible Ambiance: Not delightful First off, the experience itself was terrible. Me and my mom came out to do our last dashing order before calling it a night and this location was PACKED. when i mean packed. I mean there were cars wrapping around the building. We were on crunch time so we went around nicely to park near cursive so we could go to the pickup window that was for dashers to easily pick up orders since you should think that the orders we had were already done. It wasn't. My mom stood there for 5 minutes with other dashers only for one of the employees to tell them that they were closed there. cool, no problem. It would've been nice if they had a sign there saying they won't serve that window for outside pickup. they meant to say they closed inside at 11pm, not outside pickup. two different things. So anyways, we go around. My mom is already a bit irritated since we have to go all the way back around just to get to the second window for someone else's food. As dashers, we treat other people's food like our food so things can move a bit quicker and so our rating doesn't go down. My mom being her, she tried to cut in between cars (talking to them beforehand about our situation since the order was already placed. it wouldn't make sense to be mixed up with people that's ordering) but they wouldn't let us in, which is understandable. i get that since they had to wait as well so once the employee told us what we couldn't do which was cut, my mom told them it wasn't right that dashers had to wait in drive thru for orders that are already placed and should be done by then, so when we pick it up it's already cold. that's not a good look on dashers period. We finally decided that we had enough time to just get in line before it got too long just to wait. we waited like everyone else and when we got up there my mom just asked why they had it closed (the window) in the first place and that it wasn't right for dashers to wait. i guess the employee got mad at her "tone" and they started to go back and forth. As this was going on, we already beforehand contacted door-dash to let them know about this location and how poor the service was. I was already on my way to let this customer know that we probably wouldn't be able to get her food since they were arguing with basically customers over food. after 5 minutes of them shutting the window on us they they 'canceled' our order which isn't possible since we're the only ones who could do that. again, this wasn't our food for them to cancel. so we texted and called the lady that we had to dash to about the issue. when that lady called up to the place, in the opened window we could hear her saying that she "wasn't gonna give her your food" since she deemed my mom having inappropriate behavior over their lack of urgency. I was very displeased by this dispute because after threatening to call the police after we wouldn't move because she wouldn't give us our food, she gave us all the wrong things. We don't know what she could've possibly done with the food since it was a very light bag. No drinks in the bag but we were already down the road to try and get away from this mess. This was all 'handled' by the so called manager that night (Friday, July 5th, around 1:00am) She wasn't very professional about redirecting dashers and she had a bonnet on. If you were the manager, why indulge in an argument when you could just apologize and give the food with no problem? Our problem was that they didn't start the order UNTIL we finally could come to the window after sitting there for 15 minutes. This McDonalds needs to do better as the way those two employees were talking to us and the lady that we were dashing for. Will be calling corporate to get this issue resolved.

a bag of fries and a sandwich

If I could leave zero stars I would! This location has THE rudest and most ignorant workers, not to mention they're dumb as rocks or just don't give af about their job. Every single time I have been there, the service is HORRIBLE, and something is wrong with my order. The entire staff needs re-training and they need to take a kindness class or something. If you're that miserable, or just lack manners and decency, you shouldn't work with the public! PERIOD!!! I can't imagine hiring a whole crew of ignorant a$$ people! How does that happen? Slim pickins I guess. ‍ DO BETTER!! Oh and this is how one of my sandwiches was wrapped...NO EFFORT AT ALL and my bag was practically thrown to me and the drive thru window was immediately shut before I could even ask for any sauce

They mess with your food. It needs to be reported to the health dept.

If I could give this place no stars I would. How do you get a mcdouble confused for a chicken sandwich? I don't eat mayonnaise either and they gave me a chicken sandwich that was opened. My sandwich looked terrible when I got it.

Picking up the Phillies box and This is what comes in the box so disgusted!!! Check your food before selling it to people !!!

    Bacon quarter pounder

I ordered inside, because they always mess up my order in drive thru. After waiting for a short while, a woman asked the crew where her order was. One of the employees in the back yelled, "Stfu bitch!" There were about 4 other people including myself who heard what he said. The woman remained calm and stated she will talk to a manager in the morning. Meanwhile, I finally get my order, gave a quick glance to make sure everything was in the bag and drove home. I looked at the bacon quarter pounder I ordered and thought, "You've got to be kidding me?" They just threw a split piece of old hamburger meat on bread on put it in the bag. I was so pissed that I went back and complained. After they replaced my sandwich, I was headed out the door and I could hear a young female yell, "Yes, get out!!!" This place is ghetto and unprofessional and they need to get a whole new night crew or else!! This was Sunday night 10/15/23 at 9pm. They all need to be fired!!!

Now look up. That's where I used to live for many years. So yes I was a regular at Groove Ground for awhile. When I wasn't in the actual shop, I was up in my apartment using their free wifi. Stopped back in today while walking around town doing some Christmas shopping, and the place hasn't changed. Still tiny with a few natty armchairs and couches, still the eclectic mix of music records and other merchandise (a lot of it by local artists), still staffed by friendly employees. One change is that they used to be open until 10 or 11. Like most coffee shops in this area, they now close early. They're open 8 - 6 every day. It's not exactly a destination store. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for anything on the food or drinks menu, and for records and small handmade gifts, there are several other and better options in town. But I like that it's independent and supportive of the community, and it's still a nice place to stop in while in Collingswood doing other things.

I ordered one of their specialty iced coffees, the Chocolate Covered Banana. I'd normally avoid something like this because of the sugar, but it was surprisingly not overly sweet. That said, I didn't really taste much banana. The ordering setup is a bit unusual. You place food orders at one counter and coffee at another. The coffee came out quickly, but the Caesar wrap took over 20 minutes. It didn't seem especially busy in person, so they may have been juggling delivery orders. The kitchen is very small and appeared to have just one cook at the time. It's a family-run business, which is really sweet. It did seem like the owners' kids were working the counters, and they felt a bit inexperienced when it came to handling volume or order issues. On a nice day, it's a lovely spot to sit outside. In bad weather, though, takeout or delivery are really your only options. It's definitely on the pricier side. The Caesar wrap was over $15, and the coffee came to about $8 with tip, though both portions were quite large. I will say, the food is delicious. The wrap was honestly one of the best I've had. Freshly cooked warm chicken, just the right amount of dressing, fresh parmesan, crisp lettuce, all wrapped in a perfectly warmed wrap. I'll definitely be back, and I'm curious to see how they continue to grow and improve.

Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)
