This is a small shop given the area, but with a surprising amount of seating given that the kitchen takes up a considerably small footprint. I ordered a green iced tea which was delicious, and then sat and worked. Wi-fi is solid here, and the outlets are plentiful. I especially like having seats with backs and sizable tables at the right height... when you're working from cafes the small details make a difference. Even though the espresso machine was down, the staff were still friendly and pretty calm about the whole ordeal (although some customers were not). I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk -- it was really good, but I didn't realize how small the size was and was surprised by the additional $1.25 charge for what seemed like just a few splashes of oat milk. The sandwiches were tasty, although the bread was a bit too crispy. I usually love crispy bread, but this was very, very crispy and slightly overdone for my preference. The biggest disappointment was the egg -- it had that pre-made/frozen egg texture and appearance, which I didn't expect from this type of establishment. I am so shocked by these reviews. We stopped in the other day and immediately felt a negative vibe. The employees are definitely in the wrong business and should not be interacting with the public. They don't speak or respond to questions or say hello or thank you. Coffee shops are my favorite places and this one made me want to walk out as soon as I walked in. Avoid at all costs. I spent three days in Philly for a conference and this was the best tasting and cheapest cup of coffee I had, and it was not even close on either end. The drip coffee had body to it and acidity, something that could not be said for any other coffee I had all week. I just ordered the Honey Spiced Cortado (made with oatmilk, and comes w/ a ginger square). The batista was helpful in explaining the drink to me before I ordered. It contains turmeric and ginger and she let me know that it's very heavy on the ginger (which I like, but it isn't for everyone). The place is really cute and larger than it seems when you first walk in. There is a nice sized seating are behind the counter. The seating atea has outlets so it is convenient for days when you're working out of the office or studying. Ordered honey turmeric latte with oat milk - interesting flavor but yet smooth with a spark of turmeric. It brings some spiciness but not too sweet. Visited this shop while on a coffee hop day with my friends in Philly. There were different aspects to things I didn't like too much about this place. First off we went inside and my friends were first in the line when I asked if I could use the restroom, to which I got the response and I quote "It's over there... but it's locked." So I'm trying to ask for the key but being completely ignored. I thought maybe the cashier person was just busy and so I tried with someone else who worked there, and they just walked right past me without even looking. The place was quite busy, however, it was still really bad service in my opinion. Of course I just gave up and went to the back of the line to order my coffee. I ordered a caffè macchiato and unfortunately did not like it. The coffee was too bitter for me. The latte art was beautiful though. The location itself is ok. They have a cute little table outside where we sat down. Honestly unfortunately this one was the only disappointing one of the 4 coffee shops we went to that day, however I'm still glad I tried it. I believe this is intentional as the smaller format and ultimate milk to espresso ratio rewarded me with a robust, evenly frothy final product versus overly milky.
