Ordered 50 dollars worth of food and it took less than 5 minutes at a busy time. All staff was friendly and festive for the holidays too!

I'll keep this brief because, geez, it's McDonald's... but I feel like their current rating may not reflect their current state. Pros: -CLEAN bathrooms (as opposed to many review complaints) -apparent recent remodel (new paint, wallpaper, doors, etc) -fast service, though we only ordered ice cream and milkshakes -polite cashier, he even added hot fudge after the fact because I forgot to ask for it Cons: -homeless people in the parking lot bumming for change I have no issue with the homeless, but being stalked and pestered for change walking to and from your car (especially when you're a single woman traveling alone) can be a bit unnerving, especially when they sneak up on you from behind the landscaping that edges the property. read more

McDonnalds is McDonalds,,, Only thing I expect is a clean eating area, rest rooms and good customer service... Sad that there was none of the above. Dirty tables throughout, all garbage cans were overflowing, only 1 cashier working during late lunch 2pm, with about 4 families in line. Cashier kept messing up orders and spent half the time casue the previous customer was coming back to complain about something. We were on our way to Williams, Arizona and stopped here for burgers and iced coffees. Perfect location right off Interstate 17, halfway between Phoenix and Flagstaff. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good spot to pull off the highway and avoid the crowds. We were back on the road within ten minutes and on our way... Would stop here again for sure. read more

I have to confess that I have been to hundreds of McDonald's, in the US and elsewhere, and this has to be the worst one. Food took forever, a couple things wrong with the order, and overcharged for a cheese substitution (white cheddar instead of American on the egg McMuffin). The staff, including the Mgr on duty, need further training and attitude adjustments. read more

Ordered food for family on a trip and I accidentally ordered a chicken sandwich instead of chicken strips (confusing menu items 8/9) and staff went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. I realized it was my mistake in ordering and counter person started to say something but I told counter person it's okay I'll keep the chicken sandwich. It might be that the Franchise manager was there or just a good local manager but the manager and counter person found me sitting down and offered to get me the large strips and add on some extra fries. Nice! Service here was friendly, plenty of parking, the seating and bathrooms were clean. Unexpected at a fast food place and a pleasant contrast to my last McDonalds visit at a different location in Williams AZ where everything was "against policy". read more

This McDonald's is by far the most disgusting one I've ever been too. I understand that it's in a small town on the side of a highway. There were so many people there, which is expected since there are not many choices in the area. The bathrooms were disgusting and only had toilet paper in one stall. All the tables were dirty, and that's of you can find one. We decided to take out food to go since we didn't want to eat there. We didn't order much since we just wanted something small to snack on. The chicken nuggets were burnt and dry as well as the cheeseburgers. Save yourself the heartache and go to Wendy's or Taco Bell. Anything has to be better than this stop. read more

I don't expect much from McDonald's but it's called FAST food for a reason. All of the employees at this location, including the manager, acted like they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing. We ordered using the kiosk, and it was supposed to be brought out to us. The guy at the front stood there calling the wrong number for about 5 minutes and then gave our ice cream to someone else because we didn't know it was ours (and were expecting it to be delivered)! If you can't do things properly then you shouldn't have the kiosks. Also, almost everything was empty (ketchup cups, napkins) and when I asked, every employee just kept asking another and no one knew where the stuff was. There was also a disgusting fly problem. This is a prime location, right off the interstate. You all should really get it together. read more

According to previous reviews a long wait was a factor at this McDonald's. We had the same problem...as a matter of fact I don't think I've ever waited so long at a McDonald's for my food...15 min. To make matters worse the burger and fries were luke warm when I got them. With the exception of today, every other time I've had to wait for food at McDonald's it was piping hot. read more

I am a Local. Not the best ever, not the worst ever. Let it be known that I never dine in, I always order drive-thru. I typically buy the meal deal with nuggets, big Macs, and fries. Most of the time it is fresh and consistent, but they do occasionally mess up such as unfilled fry containers with lukewarm fries, or nuggets that are dark because of unchanged fry grease. That is not too often though. This McDonald's is definitely the better choice between the Carl's Jr. and the BK (see other reviews). You can easily notice the lack of customers at the other two locations no matter the time of day, and for good reason. McDonald's is an Ok choice if you're in the specific mood for McDonald's, but I would still recommend a fast food such as Dairy Queen, Subway, or Taco Bell which tend to have slightly better quality. read more

It's okay. It's DEFINITELY not the best McDonalds out there, but it's okay. There's often leftover crumbs and scraps of food on the table when I eat there. Service is good, they take your order nicely, and you get your food relatively quickly. Ice cream machine hardly EVER works though. On my way to Sedona to restore my energies, I pulled off the highway to grab a little snack at McDee's. I figured I could use a little snack before hiking around the vortexes--a small fries and McChicken sandwich would do the trick. In and out in 10 minutes tops. I walk in--it was pretty empty. Two white guys working behind the counter. I place my order. I wait. More people come walking in. They place their orders. Now a standing crowd was starting to form, but still no food. I stare at my watch. A good 10 minutes has passed. Still nothing. I go to the restroom, figuring that my food would be ready by the time I come out. No luck--except now there were about 20 people waiting around. How did these chumps get a job here? Don't they know that this is supposed to be FAST food? I've had faster service at the Cheesecake Factory. Finally I get my lousy fries and McChicken--if they were piping hot I would've forgiven them but they came out cold. Ate it anyway cuz I didn't wanna wait another 20 minutes. I understand this is AZ in a po-dunk hick town, but this was f*cking ridiculous. Today is Friday April 10th. I visited this store at 10:34 a.m. where I ordered a hot caramel mocha with caramel drizzle. I watched the manager make a chocolate mocha with chocolate drizzle when I pointed this out to her she bit my head off telling me caramel is chocolate. I informed her I order this nearly three times a week and its never had chocolate drizzle on top of it besides could you just make it with caramel. she sarcastically fat the drink down and went other orders making me wait in the drive thru. I park my car and came inside I told her she told me a caramel mocha she refused to make it but she asked an employee to do it for her. this has got to be one of the rudest McDonalds managers I've ever run into. after speaking with some friends of mine I learn that she has a reputation in this small town she's just mean. buyer beware that if you run into this manager you will be treated poorly McDonalds need to retrain this person she's forgotten what customer service is about. read more

I entered the store and stood inline while a family finished their order in front of me. When I ordered I told the cashier it was TO GO. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a quarter pounder meal. She placed it on a red tray with 1 french fry. I reminded her the order is TOGO, as in I need it in a bag that I can carry out of the restaurant. She placed all of the contents in the bag and as I was walking out I realized I only had one french fry even though I paid for two combo meals. I asked for the manager and told her I waited for 15 minutes and only got one french fry with my order. She told me I will have to wait a few minutes. I asked her why not the last one on the stand like the one I just received? She told me "because those are really old". They already served me one "really old" french fry and wanted me to wait longer for fresh ones. read more

Just paid $19 for a coffee, burger with ff, nuggets and a drink. First of all, the lady taking our order was not very nice at all! Very sarcastic. Next, it took so long for our food to come out and it was all cold. Also, I ordered a BACON cheeseburger(so i paid xtra) and it's had no bacon!! Twice now I've had to ask for service when I was the ONLY PERSON AT THE COUNTER! First time both employees were looking at something on the parking lot monitor screen and looked pretty ticked off that I bothered them. Second time I got the attention of the girl working the drive-thru window (there were no cars waiting) and instead of taking my order, she ran around looking for the kid that was supposed to be at the counter. Then as I moved over to where you get your food, 3 young guys came in and that girl (who didn't take my order) nearly broke her back getting over to take their order - even though the guy who was supposed to take orders was standing right there. I don't know where they get these people from. There is no longer customer service provided at any level. On both occasions I didn't even get a "good morning what is your order" and not a "thank you for coming in, have a good day". I'll have to find another early morning restaurant to get quick breakfast on my way to work. Sure as heck won't be McDonalds in Camp Verde any longer. read more

Just moved back here to camp verde let me say this I left 10 yrs ago and I've worked 15 plus years with McDonald's and was a GM in Florida as well as I've worked 5 plus years at this McDonald's let me say back when I was managing this McDonald's have I ever paid a high end dollar white tie fine dining for a cheeseburger oh and drive thru service oh they should start asking for tips as well let me say this McDonald's is literally one of the top most expensive locations in the US. I can vouch that it's just about as expensive in New York City. Unless you fix what's broken customer service, fast and not slow I wait now 30 min every time I come in and I just want to get out and cause I seen inside but whoever owns this franchise now could care less the 10 yrs ago when people actually liked this McDonald's. This McDonalds has the slowest service I've ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. Both the drive through and inside are so slow. It's mind boggling that a fast food restaurant by the freeway is slow and is still in business. The food is normal for McDonald's. I don't go here when I stop in Camp Verde anymore.
