Food was so amazing and great quality, I was shocked how much we enjoyed the paella! The burger was super great too & the fries were done so well. The side roasted vegetables were super refreshing after a day of hiking. The waitress was super kind and gave us suggestions on what to order & what she liked more. The ambiance of the restaurant itself was very clean and decorated well. I will say, when we received the check, we understood the surcharge would be max 4%. The paella was $38, so even with a 4% charge it should be $39.52 but we were charged ~$40. So my friends & I paid and after they charged the card, then I mentioned the 4% surcharge did not add up. The waitress tried to explain the 4% surcharge but I had my calculator out showing the charge difference. They brought the check to the back and voided our first charge, then recharged the right amount. It's only a $1 difference but it's the ethics. Amazing food, authentic flavors, and a great atmosphere! The service was excellent, and every dish was delicious--which is surprisingly hard to find these days. We came to watch the Argentina vs. Egypt World Cup match, and they opened at 9:00 a.m. for the game. The restaurant was packed with passionate fans, creating an incredible atmosphere that made the experience even more memorable. I had the choripán with fries, and my wife ordered the gyro. We stopped by for a late lunch after hiking The Crack with friends. The restaurant features a lively indoor atmosphere, plenty of parking, and spacious, separate restrooms for men and women. They were running a fun, seasonal soccer-themed menu when we visited. Our group tried the prickly pear refreshers, and for lunch, we ordered the dirty burger, lattice-wrapped burger, and a regular burger paired with sweet potato fries. The burgers were just okay. A couple of people in our group noticed the meat was a bit chewy and tough, seemingly from being overcooked The only downside was the timing of the kitchen. Our food wasn't served together, leaving one friend waiting until the rest of us were nearly finished eating due to an order mix-up. Great for lunch as you transit going to Sedona uptown. The ambience is lovely. They have several drink options, good wine list, and beer. Their food is spectacular. Our party of 4 stopped in for a late meal. There was a short 20 minute wait. Once seated, service was a bit slow and unattentive. At one point, one of us asked the girl who delivered our appetizer if she wouldn't mind calling our waitress because we wanted to order something and she said, " I don't think I can 'call' your waitress faster than you can" while she motioned as if she were on a phone call. We were all shocked that she said that and didn't have the courtesy to grab our waitress. She just walked away and went about her business. The appetizer was tasty and my mushroom "posole" was very flavorful but didn't arrive hot, so it was a little lackluster for that reason. The table really likes the poblano burger. We were seated at the darkest table on the patio that was next to a window full of spider webs. We waited a solid 10-15 min to get a drink ordered. The waitress that was assisting the table next to us never even acknowledged us. Finally the hostess came back and apologized and took our orders. The drinks were comp'd which was nice. We ordered bread and a steak that came w fries and a salad. We added the shrimp. We also got a bottle of wine. We split the meal bc it was a lot of food. Even though there is a $6 charge to split the plate. We had to ask for plates and silverware after our food started coming out. The food was served family style. So to me it's just an upcharge bc they can. They also charge 3.8% additional for credit cards. I will say the drinks and food were good. I liked everything. And I'd give the food a 4/5. We arrived in Sedona and were craving a great burger and this place delivered in so many ways. Their menu promises consciously raised and sourced meat products and they also offer a variety of vegan/vegetarian dishes. Truly, something for everyone. We were immediately greeted with the delicious scent of meat being grilled over open flames out front. We were seated quickly on a Sunday evening (party of 5) on the patio. They have outdoor heaters so we were comfortable even with the cooler temperatures. Our server was friendly and attentive. He immediately brought our table waters and some small bites. He was great with providing recommendations for us based on our tastes and interests. We had a variety of items around the table, from cheese starters, a few burgers and the vegetarian cheesesteak. Everyone loved what they ordered - portion sizes are HUGE but they do charge to split plates. Our portion of the bill was pricey - we had two beers, a kumbacha, a side of yuca fries, an appetizer, a burger, and the brownie empanada. So, it was a full 3 courses and it came to over $130. We definitely don't eat out much and this was our first let's say nice sit down meal in Sedona so we are always a bit sticker shocked by the cost of eating out but it was really delicious. Me and my friend stopped in around 5:15pm, before the dinner rush. There were very few people present and we ordered pretty quickly. We waited an hour for our two burgers, which was frustrating, however, they did notice and brought us out a free appetizer while we waited, which I appreciated. Everybody was apologetic about the wait which was nice. We also bought 4 bottles of their home made hot sauce - it's amazing & highly recommend. The food and drink here was really tasty...once we were able to get someone to actually take our order. If you like good food and don't care about the rest of the experience, this is the place for you. We were seated for over 20 minutes and not even a glass of water was offered. Two tables that were seated more than 15 minutes after us had a server before we did. When we finally asked, someone brought us water and said a server would be over. 10 minutes later when someone came by to make sure we had ordered, we still had to say nobody had come by. The demeanor of the woman who finally helped us made it seem like it was our fault none of the many waitstaff came to our table. In any event, we ordered and then waited for our food, as the tables who had been seated well after us had received their orders and even started asking for boxes for leftovers. When I asked the status on the steak I ordered, I nearly had my head bitten off and I was scolded that one medium steak takes much longer than the four dishes the table directly beside us ordered. Aside from a shockingly unprofessional service experience, the food was great. I had a very good cocktail and the steak was really delicious. I had mashed potatoes and a salad on the side and both of those were great too. I loved the salad dressing in particular. We had a lava cake for dessert and there wasn't too much lava in in, but it was still so rich and chocolatey that we ate it all. By the end, service had improved so I'm rounding this up to three stars but with even the barest improvement in the service (which I saw every table around us receive but for some reason we were the Bermuda Triangle) I could see this easily being a four star place. read more

We understood there was a split meal cost, so the waitress encouraged us to order a second side since we were paying the extra. But I was surprised to see that she charged us for it. She made it sound as if it was to be included. Also ordered a drink during Happy Hour and the price was $1.36 higher than what was listed on menu. I brought these to her attention, and the 2nd side was taken off, but just $1 discounted in drink. I don't want to nickel and dime, but I don't expect to pay more than the menu price. The steak sandwich was very good though. Would we go back? Doubtful. read more

There were 5 tables and booths in use when we arrived. We asked the server for a booth. She said, NO! You can sit at a table or at the bar, the booths are only reserved for parties of 3 or more. She said is against "company policy" to allow anyone to use booths unless parties of 3 or more. Then, 2 people came in and she said them at a booth who were evidently regulars. Then another party came in and she sat them at the booth and she sat them at another booth.. We told the waiter what happened and he said, she is new and, of course, you can sit in a booth. I said not at this stage as we will just eat and leave and never return . On the way out, the hostess actually gave me a smirk! I think she doesn't like disabled people. We were seated right away at a high top in the bar area and had waters brought over within a minute of sitting down- (I bring this up because we visited another restaurant in Sedona this same weekend and waited 20 minutes for anyone to come over- waters etc) There are so many things on the menu we wanted to try but settled on the Colombian Chicken Milanesa and Chicken Parmesan- neither disappointed and were HUGE!! Both were started with a side salad- super fresh and a nice start to the meal- when our main dish plates came out, we had to laugh because the chicken took up our entire plates! The Chicken Parmesan had these beautiful fresh halved cherry tomatoes, freshly chopped basil added along with a rich tomato sauce with parmesan and mozzarella! The Colombian Chicken Milanesa had the most delicious combination of flavors with the organic fried chicken cutlet and smoked ham with parmesan cheese and corn and yuca chowder on top with a fried maduro plantain and avocado on top of that! The waitress (Kara?) couldn't answer my questions about the menu and even gave me a wrong answer before one of her colleagues corrected her. She was very unfriendly, which was surprising since it appeared that the manager/owner (Tomas) was roaming the restaurant and I was one of only three tables being served. The food was nothing to write home about. I got the rustic fries, which were just plain ol' boring fries that were overcooked and hard, and the vegan fried chicken sandwich, which was fine but didn't come with the sauce on the side as the menu indicated. The waitress forgot to bring me utensils and ketchup, then delivered a ketchup bottle that still had the seal on it. The mango bellini was the best thing I had. The restaurant was dimly lit and cute inside. No issues with the ambiance. In the end, the waitress also mischarged me for my meal, and I had to ask her to correct the bill to reflect happy hour pricing. Late lunch after my spa appointment at an upstairs establishment. Wasn't that crowded but I still chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was quick and attentive. I had the Spicy Pineapple Margarita. It was really good with the perfect amount of spice. They have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. I decided on the Thai Chili Burger which is a house made patty made with chickpeas, carrots and peanut butter topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and a Thai chili sauce. It sounds delicious however the patty itself wasn't very flavorful also the consistency was too soft. It started falling apart after the first bite which made an absolute mess. The sauce was delicious but it wasn't enough to carry the burger. The fries however were amazing! I'd go back just for fries. Overall.. Absolutely delicious. The fried sweet plantains were an unexpected flavor twist for me. Huge sandwich. I would get that again! My daughter and I came I from the rain and cold foe dinner here. The restaurant was crazy busy and the host offered up the bar for dine-in service. We had the calamari and eggplant appetizers which were delicious and came out in a timely manner. The Caesar salad was very good also and came right after. The pozole (spelling?) didn't come out soon enough and we opted for it to go. It was delicious and its take on it with porcini mushrooms really added to the savoriness of it. We visited this place last night and it was delicious. We had the sashimi appetizer, Paella x2, and beef tallow fries for our daughter.. My husband refers to me as a "Paella snob" and the Paella was fantastic. We made sure to clear the entire pan as I couldn't stop eating it. I've been to this place several times. It's really nice to have a high-quality place that specializes in Empanadas. The restaurant is casual but very cool. There's an outdoor grill out front which you will smell their incredible meats from as you walk in. Our server recently was a little slow entering our orders into his machine, but he was probably new. Very nice and attentive anyways. I did order a Blood Orange Margarita with salt on the rim and they brought me one with Tajin on the rim instead. Not a huge deal again, but just explaining why 4 stars instead of 5. The food is always great. I really love their kale slaw side, and the empanadas are baked really well. Sometime I wish for less spice and more complex savory flavors in their fillings. I happened to dine at Dellepiane on my first night on a trip in Sedona ... let's just say I was lucky enough to run into their food truck and return to the restaurant location a second time during the same short trip. The menu is large and everything we got was incredible which had us continue to come back. Our #1 recommendation is the Dellepiane Burger and prickly pear margaritas. To die for!
