Great for lunch as you transit going to Sedona uptown. The ambience is lovely. They have several drink options, good wine list, and beer. Their food is spectacular. I ordered the mussel without the pasta (not sure how to pronounce it) paired with an Old Fashioned drink. My wife ordered Le Blue burger and she said it taste very good. I have to commend Ellen for her awesome and lively character, and the way she talks to the customer. Great service. For ambience, service and food, I will rate this experience with 4.7.

Wasn't for sure what to think about this place. It turned out to be one of the best restaurants we visited while in Sedona. The atmosphere and the smell of the smoker sealed the deal for us. It was amazing food and drinks.

Our party of 4 stopped in for a late meal. There was a short 20 minute wait. Once seated, service was a bit slow and unattentive. At one point, one of us asked the girl who delivered our appetizer if she wouldn't mind calling our waitress because we wanted to order something and she said, " I don't think I can 'call' your waitress faster than you can" while she motioned as if she were on a phone call. We were all shocked that she said that and didn't have the courtesy to grab our waitress. She just walked away and went about her business. The appetizer was tasty and my mushroom "posole" was very flavorful but didn't arrive hot, so it was a little lackluster for that reason. The table really likes the poblano burger. This restaurant is large with plenty of seating and outdoor seating, too. I probably wouldn't return, as there are too many other restaurants to choose from.

We arrived in Sedona and were craving a great burger and this place delivered in so many ways. Their menu promises consciously raised and sourced meat products and they also offer a variety of vegan/vegetarian dishes. Truly, something for everyone. We were immediately greeted with the delicious scent of meat being grilled over open flames out front. We were seated quickly on a Sunday evening (party of 5) on the patio. They have outdoor heaters so we were comfortable even with the cooler temperatures. Our server was friendly and attentive. He immediately brought our table waters and some small bites. He was great with providing recommendations for us based on our tastes and interests. We had a variety of items around the table, from cheese starters, a few burgers and the vegetarian cheesesteak. Everyone loved what they ordered - portion sizes are HUGE but they do charge to split plates. Our portion of the bill was pricey - we had two beers, a kumbacha, a side of yuca fries, an appetizer, a burger, and the brownie empanada. So, it was a full 3 courses and it came to over $130. We definitely don't eat out much and this was our first let's say nice sit down meal in Sedona so we are always a bit sticker shocked by the cost of eating out but it was really delicious. Definitely give this place a visit if you are hoping for a great dinner.

We had a spectacular experience here. We were seated outside in the front area with our well-behaved dog. They brought him a bowl of water. We ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts ... all plant-based/vegan. The server was very friendly. The food was high-quality and delicious! We asked to speak to the manager, to tell him how much we enjoyed dining there. He was appreciative and kind and proud of the restaurant as he should have been. Bathrooms were clean. Ample parking. Pricey but worth every penny. Highly recommended!

The food and drink here was really tasty...once we were able to get someone to actually take our order. If you like good food and don't care about the rest of the experience, this is the place for you. We were seated for over 20 minutes and not even a glass of water was offered. Two tables that were seated more than 15 minutes after us had a server before we did. When we finally asked, someone brought us water and said a server would be over. 10 minutes later when someone came by to make sure we had ordered, we still had to say nobody had come by. The demeanor of the woman who finally helped us made it seem like it was our fault none of the many waitstaff came to our table. In any event, we ordered and then waited for our food, as the tables who had been seated well after us had received their orders and even started asking for boxes for leftovers. When I asked the status on the steak I ordered, I nearly had my head bitten off and I was scolded that one medium steak takes much longer than the four dishes the table directly beside us ordered. Aside from a shockingly unprofessional service experience, the food was great. I had a very good cocktail and the steak was really delicious. I had mashed potatoes and a salad on the side and both of those were great too. I loved the salad dressing in particular. We had a lava cake for dessert and there wasn't too much lava in in, but it was still so rich and chocolatey that we ate it all. By the end, service had improved so I'm rounding this up to three stars but with even the barest improvement in the service (which I saw every table around us receive but for some reason we were the Bermuda Triangle) I could see this easily being a four star place.

Ambiance was fantastic. Loves all the meats and fish sitting around being aged. The food was great and the presentation was fantastic as well. Server was Leticia, attentive and very helpful. Will recommend And be back!

Our waitress, Andrea, was incredible. Knowledgeable, efficient, witty and fun to be around. The food was first class , from the strip steak to the dry aged salmon. It was a wonderful experience and I'd love to come back!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Sedona. The food is amazing. The staff is great and you can tell they love working here. They have weekly specials that are always on point. I'd give ten stars. The owner is personable and greets all guests. I'd like to mention: Steve, Byron, Danny, Jose, Kara, DaNell. Best Burgers in town. Best steaks.

The waitress (Kara?) couldn't answer my questions about the menu and even gave me a wrong answer before one of her colleagues corrected her. She was very unfriendly, which was surprising since it appeared that the manager/owner (Tomas) was roaming the restaurant and I was one of only three tables being served. The food was nothing to write home about. I got the rustic fries, which were just plain ol' boring fries that were overcooked and hard, and the vegan fried chicken sandwich, which was fine but didn't come with the sauce on the side as the menu indicated. The waitress forgot to bring me utensils and ketchup, then delivered a ketchup bottle that still had the seal on it. The mango bellini was the best thing I had. The restaurant was dimly lit and cute inside. No issues with the ambiance. In the end, the waitress also mischarged me for my meal, and I had to ask her to correct the bill to reflect happy hour pricing. The sandwich was solid enough that I would come back and try a few other things. Hopefully the service is better next time.

We stopped here on a Friday night and had the best waiter and meal we've had in a while!! We were seated right away at a high top in the bar area and had waters brought over within a minute of sitting down- (I bring this up because we visited another restaurant in Sedona this same weekend and waited 20 minutes for anyone to come over- waters etc) There are so many things on the menu we wanted to try but settled on the Colombian Chicken Milanesa and Chicken Parmesan- neither disappointed and were HUGE!! Both were started with a side salad- super fresh and a nice start to the meal- when our main dish plates came out, we had to laugh because the chicken took up our entire plates! The Chicken Parmesan had these beautiful fresh halved cherry tomatoes, freshly chopped basil added along with a rich tomato sauce with parmesan and mozzarella! The Colombian Chicken Milanesa had the most delicious combination of flavors with the organic fried chicken cutlet and smoked ham with parmesan cheese and corn and yuca chowder on top with a fried maduro plantain and avocado on top of that! With a delicious side of freshly shaved coconut rice!! I can't remember our waiters name- but he had a red baseball cap on and was amazing!! The restaurant itself is super inviting!

Let's start with cocktails! My wife had the mojito with a dash of cranberry bitters and it was beautifully presented with mint. Very refreshing! My margarita was on special as it was their 8th anniversary. Very good. Margaritas so good we each had another. Our server Leticiia was super nice and had a wonderful smile. Oh yeah live music for 8th anniversary. Really like this trio! Fleetwood Mac, Chris Stapleton Marvin Gaye and more.! Really good vibe! MK ordered the Dellepiane very good a little salty My Diablo was like a lot of burgers that was perhaps a little much of lettuce tomato and sauce. A good burger I like this establishment a lot. Great people very good food I recommend.

Late lunch after my spa appointment at an upstairs establishment. Wasn't that crowded but I still chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was quick and attentive. I had the Spicy Pineapple Margarita. It was really good with the perfect amount of spice. They have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. I decided on the Thai Chili Burger which is a house made patty made with chickpeas, carrots and peanut butter topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and a Thai chili sauce. It sounds delicious however the patty itself wasn't very flavorful also the consistency was too soft. It started falling apart after the first bite which made an absolute mess. The sauce was delicious but it wasn't enough to carry the burger. The fries however were amazing! I'd go back just for fries. Overall.. Not bad, wouldn't be the first on my list but I'd go back.

We ended up sitting outside, and I loved that the patio was covered and equipped with heaters, which made it cozy even with the weather acting up a bit. It was lightly sprinkling, and we did get a few drops here and there, but honestly, it didn't take away from the experience. Now let's talk about the food--absolutely delicious. The deviled eggs were generously stuffed and beautifully presented, which made them just as enjoyable to look at as they were to eat. We shared the filet mignon, served with mushroom risotto, and wow... it was completely out of this world. Perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. We paired it with the honey garlic carrots, and they were the perfect balance of sweet and savory--definitely a standout side. I also ordered a smoked blueberry sour cocktail, and it was so good--unique, refreshing, and well-crafted. Service was solid and consistent throughout the meal. Nothing over-the-top, but everything came out smoothly and as expected. Overall, this spot really delivered--from the ambiance to the flavor-packed dishes. I'd absolutely come back again.

Super drinkable with a smoky mezcal that I really appreciated. I ordered the Carne Adovada -- Santa Fe style smoked pork shoulder. It was absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. More than 1/2 went back to the resort with us for breakfast the next day! My son ordered a burger and holy moly was it perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. What do you expect when it's fresh ground filet mignon? Hubby ordered Salmon Mignon -- a salmon medallion cooked medium rare. Absolutely divine. So grateful that this place wasn't hopping so we could easily get a table -- but also wondering why. The food was excellent and they have a remarkable wine selection too. I've celebrated birthdays, my pregnancy, and many special occasions here over the years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Tonight, my family and I came to celebrate my upcoming wedding. I made the reservation well in advance and called ahead to coordinate details because this dinner was very important to us. Unfortunately, our server, Eric, completely changed the tone of the evening. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM, but Eric did not greet our table until around 7:20. When he arrived, he immediately told us he had been sat multiple tables at once and would be taking everyone else's order before ours. He then walked away. When my mother kindly approached him to explain that this was an important wedding celebration dinner, he spent several minutes complaining about how busy and overwhelmed he was instead of addressing the issue. When he finally returned to our table, his demeanor felt tense and irritated. He even stopped his menu speech to ask what was wrong with my mom's face-she was simply shocked by his attitude thus far. We placed our drink and food orders immediately because we were already concerned about the delays. About an hour and a half after being seated, Eric came over and told us he had delayed putting our food order in because he noticed we were "still eating bread." We were shocked, as we believed the order had been placed long before that. Meanwhile, several people in our party had skipped lunch in anticipation of this dinner and were extremely hungry. As the delay continued, I spoke privately with the bartenders and explained that I was a bride-to-be trying to celebrate with family and friends, and that I was worried about how the evening was unfolding. After they spoke with Eric, he returned to the table and responded in a very curt and dismissive tone that we were "about to find out why this is such a great restaurant" before abruptly walking away. His attitude made everyone at the table visibly uncomfortable, and I was honestly mortified trying to host my guests under those circumstances. This wedding dinner meant a lot to me so I began to cry from his strange anger/attitude towards us. At that point, I requested a different server because I simply did not want another interaction with him. Thankfully, we were switched to Isaiah, who completely turned the evening around. He was kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. He handled everything quickly and helped salvage what was meant to be a very special celebration. Isaiah also apologized sincerely and comped our meal, which we greatly appreciated. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere is beautiful, and every other staff member we interacted with was kind and accommodating. That's why I'm not leaving fewer stars. I truly do love this restaurant and have supported it for years. However, Eric's behavior was shockingly unprofessional and unfortunately overshadowed what should have been a joyful wedding celebration.

Sedona is full of high level restaurants and such, but personally I appreciate the down home, family owned smaller places and always find the meals comforting and reminders of time past. Pago's is one of these places. First parking is ample! They share a nice sized lot with other businesses. Access is easy and the restaurant itself is spacious and clean. I opted for several items and honestly, they didn't disappoint. I started with the mozzarella sticks, which I haven't had fried cheese in a long time, so I was due. They were cheesy with a nice cheese pull, battered nicely and served piping HOT! The marinara was really good...not too sweet, not too tart, but a very nice light balance. I did ask if they were homemade (sooooooo hard to find homemade) and they weren't, but honestly, one of the better ones I've found. I had the house salad which was very fresh - didn't taste like bagged mix so if it is... it came with olives, cheese, zuchinni and radish and served with either a feta dressing or Italian. The feta dressing was light and tangy and not overpowering which was nice. My entree was a small pizza with mushrooms and olives (green and black). In the future I'd request it well done to get the crisp on the bottom, but the dough had a nice chew and good flavor. They also have a Sicilian pizza which is a thicker crust. They have basic pasta (spaghetti, penne, angel hair) and marinara and Alfredo selections. Again, this isn't fancy schmancy...it's down home style fare. I've seen the reviews and a lot of people complain about delivery/take-out not realizing most of the restaurants in the Verde Valley are closed by 8/9 pm. I'll be back...:I want to try the pasta next. Shoutout to my server Anne-Marie who was honest and helpful and a lovely person.
