However, I have repeatedly experienced communication difficulties when placing orders at the register. On several occasions, there appeared to be a significant language barrier, resulting in confusion and mistakes with the order. My concern is not the employee's background. My concern is that a position whose primary responsibility is listening to customers, understanding their requests, and entering orders accurately requires clear communication. When that communication breaks down, the customer experience suffers and orders are more likely to be incorrect. I have no issue with the staff personally, but management should ensure that employees assigned to customer-facing order-taking roles can communicate effectively enough to understand customers and enter orders accurately. read more

Hot coffee on a cold morning...friendly, quick service, and a clean, upscale dining room...can't ask for more. Indulged in an egg biscuit that was fresh hot and tasty. You can order and pay on app, in store kiosk or at the counter. There was no line inside, but long line at drive through. Free wifi had a few people working while having coffee. The dining room is quiet and relaxing. The access road is a little tight and people impatient. Good experience. read more

I placed an online pickup order and went up to ask if the order was ready. The manager came over and told us that we had not paid so I showed her on the app that it said we clearly paid. She then proceeds to say that if we don't pay she is going to cancel the whole order. Keep in mind we already paid and you cannot pick up an online order without paying ahead of time. She was very rude and unprofessional. Once she cancels the order I place another order and while I am waiting for it, she walks out holding someone else's order and starts eating it. I was very surprised for how rude she was considering how kind everyone else was. read more

It really is amazing how different two Mcdonald's can be and only like 2 miles apart, but in different counties. I compare this location ( in Hamilton County ) to the location at 96th and Meridian ( in Marion County ). This location prices are higher on some items. I ordered a large Big Mac meal with a large unsweet tea. I haven't had a big mac in almost 6 months and I was surprised the meal was almost 10$. My unsweet tea came in the large McCafe cup. It is not the same size I get at 96th St. It was more like a Medium. Most Mcdonald's charge 30 cents more for tea then Soda. When you are trying to avoid sugar and artificial sweeteners this or a bottle of water is it. I quit going to this location because staff I encountered at the drive thru were never remotely friendly. Today it was better. I still think I will opt for the 96th St spot. Just did this one today because I was driving right by it on Illinois St. read more

Came here at 6:30 AM after spending the night in the hospital which did not provide breakfast or dinner last night as they have no cafeteria or kitchen. I ordered the Big Breakfast with Hotcakes as I had fasted two thirds of the previous day. The food was hot and tasted as I expected. The appropriate condiments and utensils were provided. The tables were wiped down clean, the floors were clean and the overall appearance of the dining room area was very nice and pleasant. Drink and condiment stations were orderly and clean. read more

My issue with McDonald's is one that is echoed by most fast food chains nowadays - it's too corporate. I know, that's ridiculous - fast food isn't meant to be personalized. I think the larger issue is that it's all not what I remember eating when I was younger, which is not necessarily the restaurant's fault in the least. That being said- I remember loving McFlurrys. They were thick and creamy - not stiff like a DQ blizzard, but they could hold their own. both times I've gotten McFlurrys from this joint (Oreo the first time and Stroopwafel the second), I've been seriously disappointed: they melted in seconds and weren't worth it. I think I could make a better version myself (and now that Stroopwafels are available in the grocery store, I just might). Use some good ol' Edy's Vanilla Ice Cream and Ghirardelli caramel syrup? For McD, I'll just stick with my usual $1.09 large diet coke with ice. The rest isn't worth it. read more

I literally just witnessed a guy with his kid come in here with a sealed bucket of pop tops for Ronald McDonald house. Tried to help and give it to the store and they refused it. The man went on to say that his kids wanted to do something good and decided on collecting them for Ronald McDonald house. Shame the manager flat out refused. I love this location as they are fast and have friendly service and helping the customer whenever possible . Today I went in for the 63 cent egg McMuffin as their anniversary special my aap crashed and I requested to purchase one event though I needed to purchase through my aap . The manager double checked to see if in fact she had phone aap troubles and she did let me by my sandwich and I got a sugar free iced mocha love sugar free option so happy McDonald's has sugar free syrup now for all to enjoy . I also really enjoyed the new mural painted in the location . The drive through is great as well . I would suggest this location fast and friendly service read more

Went during breakfast hours about 7:30 am after dropping hubby off for his dr appointment. Usually staff is very cheerful, but the cashier (young black girl) at drive thru didn't smile or greet me nor did she say thank you after i paid. She just held out her hand for the money. While I occasionally like to eat here for breakfast, today may have been the last time. My mother and I came here for Egg McMuffins today. I like my with regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon. They charge an extra 0.75 for my one strip of bacon (it was cut in half to cover my sandwich, picture attached). The sandwich cost $3.39+0.75 (sub bacon)=$4.14 (without tax). I'm not sure where they buy their bacon, but I would bet that one thin strip of regular bacon doesn't cost as much as one slice of Canadian bacon. My mother ordered an Egg McMuffin without Canadian bacon (no meat at all). Her sandwich cost the full price $3.39! We asked the man at the register, who appeared to be a shift manager, why the difference in the prices, he shrugged and said "that is the way it is". I asked him if the extra charge for regular bacon was a franchise decision, he said "no, they all do it". I told him that was not true as I have been to other McDonalds that do not. He just shrugged his shoulders. My mother then decided that she would take her Canadian bacon since she was paying for it. He then went and told one of the food people that she wanted the Canadian bacon (in Spanish), the food person laughed very loudly. My mother also ordered and paid for coffee, they didn't give it to her, she had to go back and ask for it. What is so disappointing is that this is a very nicely designed McDonalds, and for the most part, has always been friendly. read more

Please don't compare this to 4-star "real" restaurants. This is a 4-star when measuring against other McDonald's. I won't describe the food because c'mon, you've eaten it since you were two, you know what it is. This location is brand new, fancy shmancy, spotlessly clean, and trendy but not in an obnoxious way. They are clearly trying to hit that Starbucks study crowd with lots of outlets with built-in USB ports. And why wouldn't you come hear instead - coffee is cheap and they have the best fries! Service is fast and friendly, food order was accurate and fresh. If you have to have fast food, not a bad place to go. read more

I had exclusively eaten rabbit, bear and elk meat until I was 15 growing up in Wyoming. I have to say, hamburger is very good!

This was by far the best McDonald's I've been to ever. I pulled in the drive-through at 12:40 and had my food by 12:43. The fries were fresh and the food was good. Definitely worth going to. I usually never rate a McDonald's. I don't think many people think to. However, their quick service and friendliness truly went above and beyond. Definitely worth coming here! read more

I feel really weird giving a McDonald's 5 stars, but this location has earned it. Of course I've been to probably hundreds of McDonald's across the country, but I can honestly say this one is the best. My job moved it's location nearby about 10 months ago, so I have made quite a few visits to this location during that time. Even though I swear I'm giving up fast food, when I need a lunch under $5, I always end up here! The line is always long, however, there is a person standing outside in the drive thru that directs traffic and leads you to the shortest line. It's always fast, my order is always correct, the staff (usually the same people during lunch time) is always friendly and efficient, and my food is always hot and good! I thought maybe they reserved their best staff members for lunch time hours, but I stopped by at 10 pm on a Saturday night (don't judge me) and of course the line wasn't long, but I still received the same type of service. read more

We rarely go to McDonalds, maybe 2-3 times a year. I decided I wanted a breakfast sandwich and the app had free nuggets with purchase as an Indians promotion. My dog is a fan of the nuggets. I have NO idea what happened, but we were there for 45 minutes trying to get our food. Ok, so here's what I don't understand. They were not that busy even though it was about noon. When I walked in no one was at the counter. One person was trying to use a kiosk. A couple walked in behind me and we stood at the counter to order, but someone finally came over and said we had to use the kiosks. I hoped over to one as did the older couple. I found my selections and it even gave the option to scan my coupon in the app. I was like this is great! BUT it really wasn't. It didn't work. It added the nuggets, but it wouldn't let me pick continue. I tried it again. Nope. Then I clicked call for help. And then I waited and waited and waited. The older couple left without placing an order. I know they messed with it for awhile. And when I looked their kiosk was out of order. I went to the counter, but no one came over. I went back and clicked help again. I called my husband, he had the dog in the car. He said coupons don't work at the app. He had ordered right before me. I did think he took a long time, but hadn't realized and he didn't say he had an issue till I called him. He came in to try to help me. But it wouldn't let us hit continute. And I hate leaving the dog in the car alone. SO at this point we have be there at least 30 minutes. In that time only one other person came in and they waited at the counter until I told them they had to use the kiosk. No one else really came in. I guess the drive-up might have been busy. The staff was preparing food. Finally I went to the food counter and asked for help. The guy tried to get the coupon to work as well. And then he just took my order. Another guy came in right as this happened and he took his order after me. Our food was fine. But not worth the 45 minutes. We had to get across town and back for a movie. They need to better address the kiosk situation. I waited 5 minutes at the counter before they said I had to use it. Then I waited at least 20 for someone to help me. At least at Meijer people are there to help you through issues. Makes me never want to come back to this location. Maybe a sign to direct people to the kiosk. Maybe someone actually helps when you hit call for help. read more

New McDonald's near the new Market District. Very much like the one in Westfield, the new style interior, with lots of room. Area surrounding the store is still under construction, so for me to get into the place I had to drive into the exit lanes. Everyone inside is friendly, and then there's that great American tradition: the burgers, fries, and shakes. read more
