If I could give this place two different ratings, I would. It's convenient to my commute to and from work, so I drive through some mornings for breakfast and occasionally in the evening for dinner. Pros: The breakfast crew is always on the ball, and I never have problems or delays. Cons: The evening crew is...less good. Either they're not paying attention when I'm trying to order, or they get the order wrong, or they get the order almost right; it's rare to get exactly what I asked for, and I'm not asking for anything unusual or modified. The second shift griddle operator is in the wrong job. The second shift crew is good with the exception of the person on the grill. On some of my visits this person purposefully slowed down the flow of orders to the point they told the person taking orders to stop taking orders. I have witnessed this. Both of our burgers were clearly cooked hours, if not days, before we ordered them. The patties were black, shriveled, and crunchy, with an off-putting taste. My wife's ask for extra onions was on our receipt, but hers came with no onions. We force-fed ourselves these nasty "crispy critters", having spent $9.48 for them. We have both been in the bathroom several times since on the following day. This experience has convinced us both to make healthier eating decisions in the future, and I suppose we have this location to thank. I want to thank this McDonalds for being a shining example of providing the absolute WORST customer service in Chattanooga. The idea that you can force the use of kiosks and have absolutely no customer interaction is fiction. Bad fiction! We stopped in just to grab a couple of ice cones. We stood there for a while not knowing if our order was actually placed since we selected to pay cash at the counter. After not seeing our number show up on the big screen behind the counter and seeing others standing around waiting we decided to go across the street to Dairy Queen where they still know how to provide customer service and not expect their customers to serve themselves. What's next? You want food, cook it yourself? Stay away from this place. At least in other McDonalds they will take your order if you prefer not to use the kiosk. read more

I order a Big Mac and spirit+ A piece of meat for my dogs. They love McDonald's hamburger meat. They handed a spirit that was just flat. Then they told us to pull up and wait. Finally after waiting 18 minutes, I went in to see what the problem was. They had not made the order. They said, they did not have just patties for sale. So we purchased a burger for our dogs. Placed a mobile order, got home, realized the food was made wrong, went back, told the cashier what happened the first response was "huh" and then proceeded to tell me the double quarter pounders I ordered and received with one patty was made correctly, a double is two patties not one, they took the food I ordered back behind the counter and still gave me back a completely wrong order, it had two patties except this time both burgers had onions all over them and one single half piece of bacon on each burger, one large fry when I ordered two, I tried calling at least 8 times and could not get anyone to answer the phone. All of these workers need a new job since none of them can actually read and don't know what professionalism at the job is. Also they served me completely raw meat. They took my receipt with them to verify order and hopefully read the receipt to make the food correct but it was still wrong. They tried twice and failed twice. Just ordered 1 happy meal for my grandson, having paid right then--20 full minutes later, I had to ask for my order, that I could see sitting in the food prep area. We rarely go get fast food, but I recently figured out that McDonald's coffee is pretty good and it is cheap. We ordered an iced coffee on the app and went inside to pick it up. We stood there for 15 minutes while no one made an effort to make our drinks. We asked about it and they finally went to make it, but instead they put them in medium cups instead of the large sizes we ordered. We each took a sip and threw them immediately away. It had no taste of coffee. Wasted time and money. We won't return to this location. read more

At the first window the young lady was very nice and welcoming but then I pull up to the second window and know one was there to welcome me. Unacceptable order of scrambled eggs, 3 bites at best, approx equal to 1/2 an egg, about 1/4 or less the amount i typically get. Received through drive through, and of course would have had to take the time to go back. I would have never accepted this with dine in. We only seem to go to McDonalds for coffee, iced tea and ice cream. It's common for us to stop by and get a cone and the kids get a McFlury. This location is very chincy with the portions. We went today and the two McFlury's were only a little more than 3/4 of the cup filled and the cones were half the size they are at all of the other locations we've been to. Its unfortunate that you cannot give negative stars. I took my grandson in on Sunday. He ordered a quarter pounder with cheese, lettuce, and mayo only. He also ordered a medium fry and a large drink. The cashier punched this in the register. He told me we could get a Big Mac for only .50 more. I told him to go ahead and he asked me about fries and a drink. I declined. After a long 10 min wait (they weren't very busy at all) we got our food and left. The quarter pounder was just like they usually make them, the Big Mac was COLD-;like it was not even under a heat lamp cold, and there were no fries. I have gone too many times since I've had a bad experience but they are close to me and I keep giving them a chance to redeem themselves, but literally every time I leave from there, I am missing something or something is wrong. Front counter manager was very nice. However, after this visit I will gladly visit Hixsons other location or drive back across the river. This was an absolute nightmare. Ordered 35 bisquits, 30 hashbrowns. Took order back to set up for breakfast, was 4 bisquits short and the hasbrowns were thrown in one bag, and did not appear to have been drained of any grease.
