OK, I may have been a bit harsh in my last review, although everything I said was undeniably true about what I had experienced. However, after revisiting this location multiple times for my midday coffee runs, I have to improve my score by one star. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that this location is trying a bit harder to smile and be a little more friendly to their customers. Although I still spot check my order for any signs of hair that may have crept in, I have gathered up enough courage to order a double cheeseburger here and there and maybe a small order of fries a couple times. So far, so good. The coffee tends to be OK, but I have gotten a couple bad iced coffees that were made a little funky, but still drinkable. Two times to avoid this McDonalds is between 2-3:30pm weekdays, due to the over crowding by the Kenwood H.S students. I waited a while for my food and it was pretty loud as well. The security tried to get it all under control, but it never works. Also, late night on Saturdays. The drive thru will take about 15-20mins before you ever get to the window. Nevertheless it's McDonalds and at this one, the order is always correct from what I've seen and the service is okay. read more

I came in to order a Sweet Tea waited in line and when i made itto the front the cashier Ramona wave her finger at me and said Im not ringing up line. Now that's the WORST response to give to any customer. She never look me in the eye and when i asked was her statement referencing to me, she turn her head to look away from me not to answer. It's your typical McDonald's but do yourself a favor and don't go there past 9pm. The customer service is atrocious and, yeah, I understand "you get what you pay for," but there's still a level of professionalism that's associated with a service-job, regardless of if it's fast food. You're served quickly (it's drive-through only past a certain time in the evening), but the food probably won't be fresh. If you can avoid it (which you probably can), skip McDonald's as your late night stop...or at least skip this location. read more

I've been told that this is one of the worst and slowest McDonald's locations on earth, but I could not confirm this claim. Although I don't much care for the chain, I decided to test this location today about 1 pm. Walking into the restaurant, my experience was what I would expect; perhaps a couple uncleared tables, but it was generally clean, and my order (one McDouble and a wrap) was served up without incident within about 60 seconds. Impressive. Undeterred, I then tried the drive through. Ordering the same food took a bit longer; just under 10 minutes according to my clock. Still, with so many cars in line, I thought this was within normal limits. Therefore, I can't say that this location is any worse than others. It's a McDonald's. read more

There are frequently panhandlers in the drive-through lane begging for money. The restrooms often have homeless people in there bathing in the sinks and are absolutely filthy. I have frequently ordered food but will never go back to this McDonald's as there are often errors in my order ...some of the staff seem to be unprofessional during the evening shift as they are talking on cell phones at the cash register.. I don't know who owns this franchise but he or she. Should get it in order and add a minimum have a clean facility read more

Don't bother with this McDonald's after 10 pm. Granted, I shouldn't be eating this late. But hey, when a Big Mac is calling your name, you answer, with a large fry.. This McDonald's is poorly staffed and they are slow as molasses dripping down a wall......then they mess up your order! That's all you'll need to hit the gas (thank goodness we hadn't paid for the order) and take your butt home! They're disorganized at this McDonald's and shouldn't be open 24 hours. I promise you, this is one of the worst McDonald's I've seen.....and I've seen a few. When I entered, there were individuals waiting to receive and place their orders, but the crew was busy engaged in personal conversations, moving very slowly, with EXTREME attitudes and a lack of urgency in not only taking orders, but serving them. The order taker had an extreme attitude, and it showed. No "may I take your order", no "thank you", and when the order was served, she didn't hand the bag with me, she threw it. She also expressed, openly, in the presence of customers, her displeasure of not receiving a break when she wanted to take a break. There was no sense of management in this location, nor were there any name tags on employees. While I'm at it, the dining room needed a good mopping, and I'm wondering why they needed 7 people behind the counter with NO ONE at the registers, but they were all hanging around the serving area, talking and yelling at each other. This is a business, not the yard!!! Where are the managers? Oh, wait....... I can also testify that their service after 9:00pm goes straight down the toilet. Lines of 10-12 cars in the Drive-Thru just waiting is the norm, not the exception. And you will wait...and wait...and wait. But no worries, if you run low on gas waiting in the line of cars, there is a gas station right across the street!!!!! Fire the whole staff and start over. read more

After sitting on this a couple days I finally decided to write my first review ever because this experience still leaves me sour. This is my local McDonald's so I've been here quite a few times. While I've never had a great experience (food or service-wise) here, last Saturday evening's experience takes the cake: There's a long line - no shocker. It takes 30 minutes to get through the drive-through with 11 cars in front of ours. We finally place our order after "go ahead with your order - no wait" is said to us three times. We wait and wait and order. We get up to the pay window. "Mango smoothie" No. He looks at us like we're lying. We had a 20 piece Chicken McNuggets with honey and a large fry. "Did you order?" Yes. And our total was (insert exact amount here). There is no evidence of our order so we re-order the same meal, paying a completely different price than first stated. I can't read the receipt because it's blank - the printer ran out of ink. We finally pull up to the pick-up window. "Mango smoothie?" She passes the smoothie. No. She looks at us like we're crazy. We ordered a 20-piece Chicken McNugget with honey and large fry. Again, we have no order so she waits for a new order and we finally get a bag. I ask if she included the honey we ordered and she smirks and says that costs extra. No, it doesn't, because we did not order extra sauce. She doesn't want us to go away happy, I swear - she continues to smirk and stare at us. We leave, not wanting to deal with the sauce issue because it is obviously a very difficult thing and she is letting us know she is having a difficult night. We get home and open the bag - we paid for a 20 piece and received a 10 piece. I'm not going back here - never again. I always try to avoid this place since the food quality is rarely up to par with other McDonald's I've been to, but this service was absolutely unacceptable. I don't expect much when I go to McDonalds, nor do I expect lightning fast service. What I do expect, is actual service. I arrived there, albeit late at night around 3:00 am, and I enter the drive thru with some friends to place our order. After placing our order, the person on the other end goes down the list "Sorry, we don't have chicken nuggets...or McDoubles...or Fish Filet...or McChickens..." What? Excuse me? You do not have food? Well, since it was near 4:00am (when McDs' switch to breakfast), maybe they had the breakfast food? No. Nothing. Consistently the worst McDonald's. This morning, got to the drive-thru at exactly 5:51 with ONE car ahead of me. However, they didn't get to order for a while then I ordered at 6:07!? That's crazy. It was like one girl was working. Then I ordered an Egg McMuffin and a Sausage McMuffin with egg... then she marks down just a Sausage McMuffin and Egg McMuffin. I said, no... Sausage McMuffin with Egg. She said, "Yes, Sausage McMuffin," and the screen didn't change. I said, again, no... with egg. She said she got it. I waited 20 minutes only to be told when I made it to the window they only accept cash at the drive thru.This is the 20th time this happened. I understand that they can't take cards. Machine down and what but she said they couldn't take cc at the drive thru but why not tell me when u took my order? Or why not take my cc to the front register and ring it up? This Mcdonalds I used to go too alot specially when I left work. But they built all the buildings around it. The resturant has not been the same before it was just the high school kids now it is extra extra crowded. You used to sit outside in the sun and relax. I had a terrible experience today at this McDonald's. I made a mobile order at 9:41am. I was told that they didn't see it on the screen and it's nothing they can do. I asked what's the next steps because the app is showing for me to show a person at the counter the order #, I did and I was still being told by the manager Denise that they can't do anything because it was on the screen. I asked for her to contact the general manager to get next steps for this situation since she didn't know what else to do, and needless to say I waited for a total of 40 minutes, in an enclosed restaurant were no social distancing is being practiced, and wasn't offered any help still. Smh. When I did speak to the general manager she told me that Denise couldn't do anything because the order wasn't on their screen, even though I closed my app and reopened it and showed her again the order number it told me to show them. She also said that is not McDonald's app it's a third party's, and when I asked how she would handle it she said she would've asked to see the email receipt. So I guess a customer needing and asking for help for 40 mins isn't a concern for the manager Denise and the general manager Dominique at this McDonald's...maybe the screen has to tell them how to take ownership and problem solve customers issues...or maybe I should have asked to talk to the screen. read more

I prefer this McDonalds over the other neighborhood McDonalds. The owner is usually present and the food is usually hot. The employees work fast and my order is always right. The restroom is clean and you have to get buzzed in to use it. The only drawback is avoiding the lunchtime traffic. read more

The service in this restaurant was absolutely horrible. I have been going to McDonald's for decades and this is the worst experience I have ever had at one of these restaurants! The woman at the window was totally untrained and incredibly rude. She consistently had an attitude with us as we were trying to figure out what the kids wanted to eat. Also, she kept getting the order wrong and when she repeated the order she was speaking so low that I could barely hear what she had to say. After that, she had a really nasty attitude when I asked her if she could raise her voice. Even after all of this ridiculous chaos, she got our order wrong. Not only did she get our order wrong with the manager refused to correct the mistake and told us that if we wanted to get the meal that was missing in our order, we had to go back through the drive-through line again. Right now I am furious. This particular branch is an embarrassment to the McDonald's brand and the corporate office should investigate this immediately. read more

Late night at drive though requested a Frappuccino instead of letting me know that they were not making any they took my order. Then when I got to the window they not only told me that they could not make my Frappuccino but also I could not get a milkshake. But instead of compensating me for my being inconvenienced with an order of french fries or something they shooed me away. Stay away from this place late night if you value your time. read more

Hi, I've read many of the postings, and many of your are correct. Yes, this is McDonald's, but does that excuse poor customer service? Absolutely NOT! I was in this McDonald's drive thru on Monday, June 24, 2013 at approximately 8:06am, and received the most terrible customer service ever. First of all, the young lady on the drive thru window had the worst attitude I've ever seen. I simply asked for a small bag to divide my order amongst my two children. The young lady spoke to me in a tone that is totally UNACCEPTABLE. To make matters worse, she mumbled the "B" word and for that I am furious. I am currently trying to speak with the OWNER because when I called back to talk to the manager it sounded like I was speaking to the same person as in the drive thru. Listen, you may think it's only one customer, but one customer can make or break your business. I would never ever disrespect a customer in this manner. I am seeking an apology!!! I like this McDonald's, can't speak for the in-restaurant experience since I always do the drive-thru at this location but I love the peppy "Da-da-da-da-da I'm loving it" song they play (or sing, I'm not sure which it is) when you get to the drive-thru speaker. Went through the drive through for a sausage egg mcmuffin, no cheese, and a hash brown. Asked for it made fresh was directed to go wait in lot and it would be brought to me. When I got home and ate it, the English muffin tasted old, like it had been rewarmed, it was like chewing sponge. The hash brown had a plastic aftertaste which made me wonder what I had just eaten. Just came from this McDonald's located at 5200 s lake park ave at 7:15-7:20am 6/8/18 . I pull up in the driveway at the intercom and asked about the big breakfast. I normally get a breakfast sandwich but I wanted to try the big breakfast. I asked the girl over the intercom whether or not the eggs were a mixture or were they real eggs--she had the rudest attitude. She said "I don't know about all that youneed to go find out." So I asked if it were possible to get the eggs they use on egg mcfuffins and before I could even finish she says "yea whatever so you want the round eggs does that compete your order? Do you see you total?" So I pull up and I say good morning and she was in the middle of taking another order so I waited to hear my total since I didn't see it at the screen before I handed her an money. She looks at me and rolls her eyes and I asked if she was ok and she said "I'm straight you took all day with your order and now you're taking all day with your money." So I asked her her name she gave it to me (Paris) and I asked for a manager. She said she's at the 2nd window. So I told the manager about Paris and Thankfully the manager was at the 2nd window and she said that she heard everything. The manager called over the supervisor or whoever that is in the blue shirt and I told the story to her--and the manager again confirmed that she heard everything Paris said/did to me. I was given a refund and they let me keep my food but I threw it away. I mean whose really going to eat anything from a place where an employee that took the order had a bad attitude? Again Thankfully the manager stated to me and the supervisor that she heard everything and I was issued a refund. I reported Paris and I am going to wait on feedback regarding the matter. As a nurse I deal with people all day long and you don't see me making the world pay for my problems--so I find it frustrating to see someone that just takes peoples breakfast orders act like they're entitled to be rude and disrespectful. There are millions of people that want to work so why should she take up that spot? She should be fired and the place should hire those that want to work there and those who are mature enough to work there. Again thanks to the manager, she was kind and a true genuine person.
