Worst McDonald's I've ever been to, and it's not like I have high expectations from McDonald's. It took at least 35 mins for my single McFlurry. The service was extremely slow and Manager was very rude and just kept saying "we're short staffed and there's nothing we can do" while loudly complaining about other customers within earshot. I counted at least 8 people working and I never saw more than 8 orders on the screen at any one point. Many orders sat there on the screen because the service was so slow over the 35-40 mins I waited. When I finally was given my McFlurry by the manager, she said "have a good night" for which I did not reply to and admittedly had a disappointing expression on my face. This apparently made her angry so she waved her hand very dismissively and repeated, with a loud angry tone, "have a good night!" I'm not sure how many workers are needed to get a McFlurry on time, but apparently it's in the double digits. Apparently the manager expects the customers to be more polite and respectful than the staff. read more

Visiting this McDonald's made me feel like I was at a fancy cafe in New York! I loved being able to get a cup of joe and watch my little one play. The decor was modern and artsy. The employees were responsive and friendly. I must say it was very clean and in great condition which might be because of the recent renovation. McDonald's menu is pretty affordable. I cannot complain about my cup coffee! I got a large roasted coffee for $1 that came out hot and remained hot for a while. I didn't really order food at McDonald's so can I can only rate it on the coffee! My favorite area was the indoor playground. Lots of seating and things to do. The playground has a slide, puzzles, interactive tables and a climbing gym which is intended for 4 to 10-year-olds. Our family loved it and this is now our favorite local indoor playground. I definitely recommend it for those cold nights or just when you want to entertain your kids on a budget. read more

IT's McDonald's, you know what you're getting (and sometimes is wrong, sometimes it's cold, and sometime my coffee has grounds in it) my biggest pet peeve with this location is the road, saying there are lots of potholes is an understatement, for a while there was a full sized mattress covering part of the massive holes in the road, it's pretty much one car at a time on a two way street or kiss your rims and tires goodby. The place was completely filthy I had to ask the manager to clean off the table we wanted to sit at and that's all he did. He couldn't be bothered to wipe off more than one table so other people could sit down in a clean environment . The napkin machine is out. Today I got a McDouble and a small fry I asked for fresh fries the girl completely ignored me didn't say a word and I got old soggy disgusting fries. We attempted to visit McDonalds tonight, 535 Airport Creed Point Colorado Springs CO 80916 at 630 pm. Upon arriving we found the door from the main parking lot locked (this has been true several times now ) but could see small children in the playplace and people inside eating. We walked around to the drive thru side door, two young little girls opened the door for us 5 and 6 maybe and the older girl very clearly stated they had the other door locked because they are lazy. We giggled and went on in to the lobby, all the kiosks were closed down so my son promptly asked an employee if the lobby was closed, he replied yes since they were short staffed. At this point there were 5 employees standing just behind the register area and at least 4 more we could see further back plus the drive thru girl. We turned to leave and go thru the drive thru, at the exit an older lady with 3 very small children was entering, my son held the door for her when the young lady from the drive thru appeared and very curtly told my son not to be letting people in right in front of the older lady with the 3 small children, she was told the playplace was open, This is a peak time of day and the doors being locked happens a lot. With no less then 10 employees standing there how is that short staffed? Needless to say we chose not to stay and order food tonight, the rude entitled behavior has just become way too much, we have complained before and it seems nothing changes. The really bad part, at one time we lived just across the street when that McDonalds was built, my children grew up in there, my youngest is 27 now its sad that we do not at all feel welcome to stop there anymore and to have your employee talk to us in such a manner is not at all acceptable. My dad and I are from out of state and this McDonalds is conveniently located about a three minute walk away from our room at the WoodSpring Suites. We walked over at around 9pm on a Wed. night after traveling all day. We were starving! I'm a vegan therefore have a limited diet, wasn't expecting much other than salad (I'm ok with that, it's my problem, not theirs) I ordered three items- side salad, hash brown, and apple pie. A nice girl came to our table a few minutes later say the pie will be ten minutes, they were out of them and making more. "No problem" I said. Then she came back a few minutes later to inform me that they were out of salad she could probably see the disappointment on my hungry face. I told her it was the only item I could eat other than the pie and hash brown and she was very empathetic. She went to the kitchen, worked some magic and came out with a lovely salad for me! I appreciate that extra effort more than you know. The two dressing choices contain dairy but no biggie. I hate being difficult and demanding, normally I'd just go get salad elsewhere but that wasn't feasible this time. Jennifer made everything right, our tummies are full with a much needed meal and she even gave us an extra pie for the wait. GREAT service!!! Huge thank you!! The restaurant itself is big and new-looking. The people working there all seemed friendly. Not sure why the restaurant was so unprepared food-wise though. That's the only reason I gave four stars instead of five. Note to vegans: the apple slices and these three items are all that I know of that are ok for us to eat. It went from my convenient go to, to my 'in case of emergency', to my "never again". The PlayPlace at the Powers and Airport location smells like stale urine. The quick and convenient option, the drive through, takes over 20 minutes. Not 'feels like 20 minutes' I was in the parking spot waiting over 20 minutes after placing my order, paying, and being sent to the drive thru parking spot. We all know we don't go to McDonald's for healthy, quality food. We go there for speed and convenience, this location does not even meet the lowered expectations you have when going to a McDonald's. read more

I know it's McDonald's but I try to order accordingly to receive a somewhat decent order. IE I will go inside, ask for my fries or chicken made fresh etc. This location is literally so close to me that I could walk. If I don't feel like making something I will grab something small to tide me over. Tonight I walked over at 11:45, the door was locked. Door said they closed at midnight. So I get in my car and go to the drive through. Order a chicken nugget 10 piece,asked it to be fresh with some ranch. I get back... The nuggets are old as hell, and I have a million sauces buffalo, hot mustard babecue? Like 6 sauces and no ranch lmao. It's like they were pissed I asked for the chicken to be cooked, idk.
