Stopped by McDonalds in Colton and grabbed a quick meal to split with my kiddo. We ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal with extra pickles, medium fries, and medium hi-c. The Hi-C was great! Sadly, the fires were cold and not fresh. The burgers had no extra pickles and somehow they missed my onions. The entire meal was underwhelming. I know it's bad when I son doesn't finish the fries. The service was MEH! When I gave my mobile order they said pull up. When they handed me my receipt and I said thank you - no you're welcome! Same when they gave me my food. No smiles, no your welcome - NOTHING! The ambiance I will give some extra points for, I've never been to a McDonalds that plays music outside and this one did. It was a nice touch. read more

I haven't been to a McDonald's in years, so maybe I'm behind the times. There were automated kiosks to other and pay (signage indicated cash was accepted at the register). Drive through was very busy with very few of people inside. Had to call out loudly to get someone to come to the front counter. Food was hot. Coke was carbonated. Surfaces were clean. I was surprised a small French fry was nearly $4 and a med. Coke was $2.50. Why only 3 stars? I arrived from the 215 and wanted the restroom straight away. I found the door locked, but no keypad or signage to indicate it was kept locked. I waited uncomfortable for a while until another patron called out to the kick that they wanted the bathroom. I heard a buzzing ass sound, and saw the other person walkin with no difficulty. I went to the front to ask for access and they said sure and tracked for their control switch. I pointed out that another person had just entered and was surprised when the worker explained it had multiple fixtures, but it just wasn't open to the public. I guess they can lock their bathroom and only admit paying customers, but I think they should have some signage to explain all that. read more

on June 25, 2023 I visited McDonald's to get some dinner for the family. I am a disabled veteran so it causes me a lot of pain to have to walk into places so I will typically use the drive-thru. I received my order and when I got home I realized my two cheeseburgers were forgotten as part of my combo which was my dinner. I called the store and they said "no problem, go ahead and come on back or we can credit your card that you used." I said I'll come back because this is my dinner for tonight. I go back and I park in the handicap parking spot by their front door so I didn't take up any of their reserved parking spots for drive thru or curbside. I called and let them know I was waiting out in the parking spot and they said they would bring my order out to me. A few minutes later they brought me my two cheeseburgers and large fries. I checked the cheeseburgers and I asked for extra extra ketchup, extra mustard, extra onions on it. and instead they purposely put no onions on it, no mustard on it, tons of ketchup. I have to now get out of my car in pain after coming off of a very painful weekend and hobble my butt into the store and explain to Samantha, this is not what I ordered. The bag is snatched from me and she rudely said we'll bring it out to you at your car when it's done!" Meaning wanting to kick me out of the lobby. I said "no thank you. I don't want to have to get out of my car if it's not made correctly and come back in here. I'll just wait right here at the counter." The lobby was empty except for two people who were about to leave so I was the only customer inside of the store. I noticed Samantha the rude employee is making everybody's orders in the Drive-Thru instead of my cheeseburgers and in the meantime my fresh fries are getting cold and I just want to put my fries on my cheeseburger and eat them and, take my medicine and go back to bed since I still was not feeling well and this would have been the most amount to solid food I had in my system in the past 3 days. Instead I was forced to wait at least an additional 7 plus more minutes and she had the audacity to tell me that she has a line of customers she has to help. I said "excuse me, I was here before all of them. I ordered my food over 30 minutes ago, YOU ALL messed up my order to the point that I had to come back and get my food that you forgot and now you're purposely ruining my food that I need to take for my medicine because you don't want to have any standards in the job YOU CHOSE. If I place a $50 order, how hard is it to take an extra 30 seconds and double check everything is in the bags? That store literally has no standards. I've actually haven't been there in over 2 years and I figured I would try it out and sure enough they still hire the same terrible people that have no standards for their job. There's no good management at that location that implements McDonald's standards and they allow their employees to treat their paying customers very rudely. So yes I contacted corporate on Samantha, yes I'm leaving negative reviews on samantha, and yes my bank is giving me my money back because of Samantha's disgusting attitude and disrespect of people's food. The food looked tampered with, it was completely inedible!! Once again ON PURPOSE it was covered in ketchup to the point that you can't even hold it or else it'll be sliding off the bun and spilling ketchup everywhere, the patties look old they were breaking apart they probably grabbed them from the trash can for all I know. I do know they made it a point to make them out of the cameras views because I could clearly see the TV screen that show the cameras aimed at the back of the kitchen from where I was standing and they made it a point to make my food out of the cameras views. It's absolutely disgusting I have no idea what they did with my food but nobody in their right mind would feel comfortable eating it. I'VE ALSO FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT OVER THIS BECAUSE I TRULY FEEL LIKE MY FOOD WAS TAMPERED WITH. Please look at the pictures and be careful ordering at that location. So yesterday about 9:30pm on a monday evening on 10/2/23 I go to Mcdonalds on Mt Vernon in Colton Ca i go through the drive through and order two large sweet teas and one large Dr Pepper. Pretty simple right? I taste to sweet tea It tasted sour and spoiled and wasn't sweer at all. I return through the drive through and informed them that the sweet tea is spoiled sour and not sweet at all and asked that they give me sweet tea that is not spoiled and actually sweet An employee said that was what they had left i asked them could they clean the container and make another batch They advised me it would take 12 minutes I told them i could wait for a fresh batch they asked me to pull around to their waiting station they would bring it to me. Less than 5 minutes they brought me what i thought were two new sweet teas. Of course i drank it to make sure it was sweet. This tea was sweeter but it was still sour i realized that this was the same sour tea i gave them they just put some sugar packets in them because i could still taste the undesolved sugar granules Of course i went back through the drive through to complain to the manager and get my money back The manager wouldnt give me her name and lied about giving me the old tea back. I let her know that if she thought that was good tea and proper customer service she is a rotton manager and her and her staff were lazy aa hell. I got a refund and left. I ordered a chicken McGriddle, a sausage McGriddle, 2 picante sauce, a large Coke with no ice, and a large sprite with light ice. I pay, no issues, i get my drinks, the Coke is missing a considerable amount of soda, i ask that they top it off, and I'm told they can't because that's how the machine makes it. I was a manager at McDonald's for over 5 years, i know that you are in fact able to hit the hand operation button, put the cup in there, add more Coke, and switch it back over to automated control. Strike one, then I'm asked to park for my food. I'm a little annoyed now, which wouldn't have been an issue if my Coke has been fixed. I park, followed by two other cars before i get my food with no sauce i go inside to get my sauce and only then am i informed by the same person that brought me my food, that they're out of sauce. I ordered the sauce when i ordered my food. If i had been told they were out of sauce before i paid i would've gotten a sausage McGriddle instead. Strike two, yall had 3 opportunities to tell me yall didn't have sauce before i got out of my car and came inside to ask about it. Then i open my McGriddle and it's freaking broken in half! Strike three and here i am. I know the job isn't the easiest, which is why I'm on here instead of making the employees day worse, but seriously, have some pride in what you're doing. Do better. I went by here at 5:30 am the other morning and the drive thru was packed. I thought it was going to take forever but I was just going to be patient. My patience was rewarded as it took no longer than 3 or 4 minutes to get through the 5 or 6 cars in front of me. My food was hot and my order was ready and accurate when I got to the window. So I frequent this McDonald's as it's right around the corner from my house, and let me tell you they're usually mediocre. Impolite employees paired with bad food and the inability to park people appropriately. I've been parked as the only person in line for a fry order and I've sat in line for 20 minutes with a line full of cars where they chose to park no one which are both frustrating. That being said, I feel like they have an entirely new group of employees this evening. Staff was polite, efficient, and kept the line moving parking people when necessary. Nothing was forgotten and they even let me know that they put my sauce in the bag and provided napkins which is almost never done. The team working 3/23 around 7pm need to always be working or training others as everything was great for a change. Kudos to the two men working the windows and whoever was preparing the food tonight. 4 stars solely due to this location usually sucking, however I feel good teams don't get the recognition they deserve which is why I'm here.
