The food shipment being outside in this heat for over an hour was a major red flag. An employee lied to our face claiming the ice cream/ milkshake machines are down but surprisingly after asking for a refund it magically worked again. Served fries so soggy they couldn't stand even with Cialis, they should probably invest in workers that actually recognize they're working and not just there to put in abysmal effort. As we looped around to leave an employee was finally starting to move shipment. I'm going to include a photo of the two medium fries they claimed were properly filled as well. We are used to this location being disappointing, but today really outdid every other bad visit. I'm genuinely confused how this location hasn't been removed yet. If they want to improve, all they have to do is actually train their workers and put in effort instead of showing the customers you're only there for a check and don't care about what you put out. read more

Not sure what is about the kiosk but I had a hard time figuring how to order a 6pc kid's meal. And the signal there was 4g not 5g and slow... The drive thru was very long so ordered inside and was stymied by the kiosk so ordered at the counter. They default to bbq for the nuggets since they didn't ask what we wanted. Entry and exit point is under a bit of road construction so watch the exit. read more

July 29 2023. 7:30pm. Ordered quarter pounder no cheese with lettuce tomato pickles onion and ketchup mustard and mayo...fries and diet coke. Actually I was trying to replicate a Whopper but didn't want to drive that far. Big mistake. And No soda today due to power outage from storm, so got sweet tea. This location is so unpredictable as far as food quality. It's either really good or really Bad. Today it was really Bad. First I waited 20 minutes for the food. Burger was a total mess. So Sloppy it was impossible to eat. Mayo squirting out everywhere, lettuce everywhere but on the burger. The burger wasn't even warm. It was nearly Cold, dry and chewy. And tasted like it was cooked hours ago. Why are the buns so small??? And the fries were cold. But the tea was good. Luckily I used the app so my loss was only $7.00. read more

management really made a positive impact today. My drive thru orders are 90% problematic and I usually don't speak up. Today I did when they didn't include 2 McFlurries and didn't take out onions from my son's Big Mac. I parked and went in to order the 2 flurries because although I asked for it in drive thru they didn't ring it up. I expected to pay for them but the manager honored my intended order at no extra cost. I walked away feeling positive about this location again. Definitely still a one star, one of worst in the area. 2 cheeseburgers, fries and drink, no salt on fries and burgers. Mobile order hit order and waljed in. Fries already boxed and on tray. No salt but had been sitting for a very long time. Burgers just standard loaded with extra salt and no customization although wrapper showed them. Very salt sensitive, even told cashier before order made. Drink was great but I made that myself. Sticking with Dale Blvd Mcdonalds just down the road who gets it right every time. I come here every single day to get an iced caramel coffee. The inconsistency is amazing. Im not trying to get anyone in trouble, but some of the workers need training on how to make some of the food items. I ordered the coffee twice this morning. At around 6 this morning when I order it came out and tasted like sweet milk water( I actually tasted no coffee). I ordered At around 9 but it was still bad. This time there was a slight taste of coffee, but it was way too sweet, one sip left a bad sour taste in my mouth. Both times I had to pour it out. I would say this location is so inconsistent with coffee every single time I get it it taste extremely different, so I have no idea what the standard should be. I would say at least 25% of the time the coffee is made so poorly that I have take a sip and pour it out. Ive only complained twice, but have never asked for a second coffee. I just want management to notice to fix this. I would never come here if it wasn't for discounted morning coffee. With the inconsistency I would never pay full price. I am not over exaggerating when I say it taste different every time. I come here every day and get the same drink, but if it doesn't get better I may just start making my own. read more

I stopped in here for lunch on a weekday. The drive-thru was packed, but the inside only had one other customer inside. I was promptly waited on at the cashier. The lady who took my order wasn't very friendly, but seemed "typical" for a McDonald's. What bothered me about that was that she appeared to be a manager. The inside is very nicely done as this location was refurbished within the past couple of years. One of the ketchup stations didn't work, but everything else worked fine. The food I got tasted ok. The crown on the Big Mac wasn't completely on and the top meat patty was hanging half off the burger and it was slightly dry (needed a little more sauce), but it was freshly prepared and tasted good. The fries were perfect. I also ordered a cheeseburger and it was dry and bland. I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in several years for the obvious reason that many others stopped eating there. This was better than I expected, but I will still drive miles past a McDonalds to eat at a better place. It's also way too expensive for what you get and for their "microwaved" frozen food. read more

Short Changed everytime I pay cash!!! It does not matter who is at the window I always get short change by a couple cents. I know a penny is not a big deal, but its the principle and the correct thing to do. I did not think anything of it the first time that happened because it was like 3 cents. But I have been shorted up to 10 cents. If I added up all the change they keep it would amount to dollars at this point. If you were short of 10 cents would they give you your food? Ok.... Here's just a plain general review of this place. If I am checking in here and am the Duke of this place it is because it is within close distance to my friend's and family's house. They can't make their own food to save their lives. They can't have a decent layout either. Believe me when I say they literally tore down their old style to the Virginian Dirt, that had the same drive thru layout it has today, and then built it back up to have the same terrible layout! The whole place is very poorly kept. The outside has McDonald's trash all over and smells like old cheese. Don't worry, though, because the inside also smells like old, wet, musty cheese. The inside is never cleaned and beyond dirty. The chairs, if they seem to have leather covering them, are all frayed. The employees need to get their act together as well. They only acknowledge you when you order your food, but they don't pay attention when making the order. One time they charged and gave me eight Chicken sandwiches, when I specifically asked for an eight count Chicken Nugget. They almost didn't refund me for their mistake! The nuggets aren't even worth it! They are nasty and bland. What can they do right? Somehow the only thing they can do is make desserts and items from their McCafe. Besides that, I have no reason for coming here. I definitely would not recommend coming here. This is definitely in the running for the worst McDonald's of the East Coast! (The McCafe and Dessert items save them from their "achievement"). read more

I wish I could say better things about this establishment because it was very good about 5-6 years ago. But with new management and employees it's taken a big shift. Employees are decent but their first language is not English so you have to make sure your order is correct and there are no communication errors. The food on a scale is below average. I've come to this place 3 times in a row and fries have always been over cooked/burnt. I'm starting to think maybe I should try going at a less busy time. Ok, so when you go to McDonalds you know you are going to get mediocre food, at best. This McDonalds HAS TO BE THE WORSE one of them all. I live right down the street from them and have visited many times. I have NEVER gotten a good meal. If you go through drive through, they get your order wrong 90% of the time. If the CRAZY drive through line is too long, wrapping around the building, and you decide to park and go in, (because there is no on inside), you will be treated with the SLOWEST most rude and uncaring employees. And they will get your order wrong 90% of the time. Worse, the food is borderline inedible. Please do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER McDonalds. This location is right down the street from the house and we've eaten there several different times. I absolutely loathe this McDonald's. Whether you go drive thru or inside to place your order, it's usually wrong about 95% of the time. The drive thru staff is rude, the has only been 1-2 polite people that have worked the registers inside that we can remember. It's a dirty location. I think Headquarters needs to come in and re-do EVERYTHING! I've received plastic bags in my soda, wrong orders, french fries dumped upside down in the bags, wrong drinks, ect. This McDonald's restaurant is a very dangerous location. The crazy arrangement has the drive-through customers trying to drive through the same area that the dine-in customers have to drive in so I am amazed that a wreck doesn't happed here every day. The dine-in area is tiny. I tried to dine-in one day but was forced to leave as all the seats were taken in the tiny place. For the above reasons I don't recommend it. Also the staff is too dumb to know the difference between margarine and butter. When I asked if they had butter to go on the pancakes they tried to give me margarine which was labeled margarine and one of the staff got into an argument with me insisting that it was butter. Stopped here to grab a quick dinner before my second job. The line for the drive through was ridiculous and to exit the drive thru you have to be in the same line as the drive thru so then you end up sitting stuck in the line. With the line being long I decided to go inside thinking it would be faster...wrong. They only have one person on the register, and the line inside started to grow a lady in front of me was trying to use multiple coupons, granted the register woman did tell the lady she can only use one coupon per visit. The lady didn't listen and was trying to still use 5 coupons, instead of sticking to her word the register lady allowed this woman to use them but ringing them up as separate orders...Ridiculous! Not all McDonalds deserve a review but the service I received tonight was out standing. The young man who took my order was the most polite and courteous server I have ever had there. His name was Jason and he is one of the only reasons to even go there. He not only took my order correctly and didn't have to have me repeat anything but he greeted me with his name and asked how could he be of service.
