This is the worst place and I mean the worst place to eat bar none. They never get your order right, it's always an incredibly long wait. The staff is rude incompetent and under-trained. This place should be shut down I can't believe they're still open. read more

Worst fast-food experience! Who could've imagined spending 25 minutes in a McDonald's drive-thru line for a $1.80 order? I never imagined it, but I lived it at the Dallas High School Road McDonald's (Dallas, NC) on the night of November 14, 2015. The drive-thru line was slow moving from the time I pulled to the speaker, but that was the pleasant part of the evening. After paying for my food at 9:51pm at window #1, I pulled to window #2 and waited while the employees on the other side of the glass ignored me. No one informed me why I was waiting or that there would be a need for me to wait. A male employee eventually opened the sliding glass partially, giving me a glimmer of hope that he would tell me my food was coming right out. Instead, he closed the glass just as fast as he had opened it and left me still wondering why I was still waiting for one McChicken with only ketchup and one bag of sliced apples. A bit later, the same employee returned to open the glass. He asked if I could pull up to the order-not-ready slots and wait. Had this employee been paying attention he would've known what I was about to tell him - The order-not-ready slots were all full and there was nowhere for me to go. When I asked why I would need to pull up and wait for a McChicken, the employee said because "they're wrapping it." I thought maybe I heard him incorrectly so I turned to my girlfriend in the car and said, "Did he just say I have to pull up and wait because they're wrapping it?" I never realized that the McChicken wrapping process was so intricate and time-consuming. It must be like wrapping nuclear bombs or sushi rolls. That glass window was closed again and I continued to wait at window #2. I was still being ignored by the employees on the inside so I motioned to a young lady inside who appeared to be assessing how backed-up the line had become. When the employee opened the glass, I informed her that I wanted to cancel my order. The employee stuck her head around a corner and presumably informed a manager of my request. I continued to wait on the other side of the glass then the first employee I spoke to returned to the window with my bag of food. This was about the 20-minute mark. Since the employees inside McDonald's obviously don't communicate with each other, I informed the employee that I had already cancelled my order. He went back in and the second employee returned to the window. I reminded her that I cancelled my order. To which she replied, "You want your money back?" A resounding "Yes" was my response. She then asked me to pull up and wait because the line was backed-up. I did not pull up at that point. As my wait continued outside window #2, the female employee went back inside to summon the manager. The manager eventually came to the window and I went through the saga all over again as I explained to him what happened. The manager then asked me to pull up while I waited for my refund. This was the third person to ask me to pull away from window #2 to wait for $1.80 worth of something. I acquiesced, pulled up and waited by the railing for $1.80 to be delivered. It seems that McDonald's needs to seriously streamline the in-house accounting procedures necessary to refund less than $2.00 in the drive-thru. Here comes the part that really shows you what McDonald's employees think about their customers. I pulled up and waited several minutes for my refund, but no one showed up. I then exited my vehicle and entered the McDonald's, only to find the manager (who was supposed to bring my refund) working the line. He apparently had more important things to do than bring a quick resolution to the nightmare I had been experiencing for almost half an hour. I stood near the counter until the manager looked in my direction. At which point I said to him, "I'm still waiting." The manager responded with, "Waiting for your refund?" "Yes," I replied. He then walked to the back and returned with my $1.80 and a receipt for me to sign. I then drove across the street, gave Burger King my business and Burger King gave me the best customer service experience of the week! I guess you can have it your way. I had contact with three McDonald's employees in the pick-up window Saturday night, one of whom was a manager and no one apologized for the almost 30-minute delay. No one apologized for the inconvenience. No one showed any concern for the lack of professionalism in that place. The manager said nothing to me after he kept me sitting in my car waiting for him. I have had other unpleasant customer service run-ins at McDonald's, but this was by far the worst. Customer service has definitely died under those golden arches and nobody seems to care. read more

We saw your ad for your new sirachi sandwich. Thought we would try it on wed. My son went to pick them up around3:30. With out a doubt this was the worst food ever ordered any where. They were dry and taste like cardboard .must have been made for hours. To think of the taste makes me not want to look at mcdonalds. read more

Great restaurant friendly employees and a great down home experience . I eat here almost everyday and I love all the employees and managers
