Honestly, we generally LOVE this place. Just ask KK. But my father in law and I just walked in there about 20 minutes ago and went to the bar. I asked the girl what IPA's they had. Just a question. She was so incredibly rude, we left. Without eating or ordering anything! Now we are here at Bubba's 33 enjoying our food and a beverage with a girl named Jordan. She is lovely. Waited 10 minutes before being greeted ... only wanted cheese and grilled onions on my burger . She Finally came with her trainer . 25 mins later got my food and it was wrong . The trainee just took it and never said nothing . The Server just came back smiling never said how long it would take to fix it just said she was 90% sure I ordered onions or mushrooms , she couldn't her or the trainee couldn't remember... that's How her fault ??! Visited this establishment with a large group during mid afternoon and we were immediately seated. We all ordered at the same time and 30 mins later we received our food. It's not fast food burger, this is a beast of a sandwich off the grill. Awesome and the have small bar and tvs and play music , not heavy traffic. Laid back and good atmosphere. If your wife goes hobbie lobby fellas just go here get u sandwich you won't be so mad while yal waiting. we did a curbside pick up on saturday evening and it was ready right on time and they brought it out to us! i did a custom crispy chicken sandwich and we had the philly cheesesteak as well! the fries were yummy! my husband said the philly was good but he doesn't think he would get it again. my chicken sandwich was also pretty good but i wish i had put a sauce on bc it was a little plain with what i ordered but that's on me! i think it was good overall and would go back to try a burger! read more

I've been hearing about Bad Daddy's Burger's for quite sometime so we decided to drop in and checkout the burgers ourselves! I have to say our burgers were great! Not only was The burger hot, juicy, and cooked to perfection but it was accompanied by a bowl of crispy Fries; we also had a metal bowl full of hot sweet potato fries which comes sprinkled with a little sea salt (I think they should offer a cinnamon & sugar option). We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles with a white dipping sauce, while we checked out the wall art. The pickles arrived piping hot, and crisp, and I must say, they were excellent! The restaurant as well as the restrooms are clean and well-maintained, there are a lot of wall hangings on the walls, including mug shots of famous actors and singers so there's plenty to see; but all in all I would give Bad Daddy's Burger Bar a big thumbs up! read more

I have been to the Bad Daddy's in the CLT airport many times and the Gastonia, NC location as well. Their burgers and sliders are amazingly tasty and fresh. I adore the Texican Chicken Salad, and I crave it often. They are super nice in both locations. Their prices are for gourmet food, so it is not McDonald's or Hardee's prices. The waitress was nice and got our drinks as soon as we sat. She also asked us if we wanted a free appetizer. We just had to fill out the survey about the service and food that we hadn't ordered yet. Now I see why it was before. There were 4 of us-not a large crowd. From order to table It took 34 minutes to get our food. I cut into mine and it wasn't remotely well done. The very center was room temp at best. I was a waitress so I do my best not to send things back. I did this one. They brought out a whole new plate. I cut into this one- even worse than the first. They put toppings on I asked to leave off and charged me for toppings I ordered but left off. Through everything the waitress was professional and the manager came to apologize and take off the meal from the ticket. I appreciate the effort, but why am going to wait 34 minutes for two different orders I can't eat. I shouldn't leave a restaurant more hungry than when I went it. I've been to Bad Daddy's a couple times and never been 5 star impressed so I decided to try a new item. I went for the black bean veggie burger which you can build your own item or select one of the pre-designed burgers they offer and substitute the protein. I'm not a vegetarian but enjoy non-meat meals at least once a week. I chose the fried mozzarella burger and was extra naughty by choosing the black bean patty to be fried instead of grilled. It was really good! Crispy outside, soft inside. I've had better veggie burgers like they Beyond Burger but considering this was black bean the crispy exterior really made it delicious. I hope they get the Beyond or Impossible burgers soon. The sweet potato fries were good and the beer menu was a bit impressive. The service was great, the manager was going to each table to ensure quality which I appreciate. We did have an issue with the coleslaw which was too salty and they quickly switched out the item. I hope they do a little training on tasting the slaw and other items before serving in case of salt issues. read more

I had to stop by the car dealership to get my car serviced so while I was waiting walked next door to Bad Daddy's to get something to eat. I sat a the bar and was greeted promptly by the bartender who was very nice. I ordered a beer and a buffalo grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries which didn't disappoint at all. The chicken was juicy and not too spicy and absolutely love the fries. The beer was a White Zombie which was recommended by the bartender which was actually pretty good. This was our first time at a Bad Daddy's and we were glad we tried it but it will likely be the last time. We were promptly greeted and sat on the patio. The patio is pretty nice with enough space between tables with just the two of us. The first thing we noticed was the Franks Hot Sauce on the table looked like a science project. Chunky and an off color. Ewe!! Our server was prompt and had great timing between visits. The drinks were topped off regularly and the order came out correctly. We did have to ask for silverware and napkins and ketchup. They were delivered promptly but there is an opportunity to just bring some of these items. I also found it weird to bring an entire roll of paper towels but there isn't a holder for it. All I picture is a bunch of dirty fingers grabbing the entire roll to pull off a section or it rolling onto the patio. Get a holder of your going to use paper towels!! Fried pickles: super think sliced and super salty. Par for the course on fried pickles. Buffalo Tots: these were really good with lots of blue cheese. Fried Mozzarella Burger: temp was ordered as a medium and it could have used another 30 seconds on the grill. The tomato stuff was really cold so the overall temp of a bite seems cold. The fried cheese overpowered the entire burger. The Italian spices really dominated from the breading and the burger took a backseat. The Dijon mustard was awesome... it didn't make your eyes water but it held its ground. The Pittsburger: tons and tons of toppings. Pretty good combo overall. My husband really like the bbq sauce but I wasn't a huge fan. Chips: bland and greasy. I guess I expected a thicker cut and some salt. I can get into the thin and crispy but not the grease sparkling at me and zero salt on it. Fries: these were average fries. Nothing special but no complaints. read more

We ordered take out and loved being able to order online with an estimated ready time. You can customize your burger which worked out great as I got a burger with a lettuce wrap versus a bun. When we picked up the order the food was ready to go. Everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and the burger was huge. The fries were seasoned really well. Came with a garnish that was flavored with an Asian sweet sauce that perfectly complimented the heavier taste of the fried egg. I would get that every time in a heartbeat. I chose the philly, which was definitely one of the better ones I've had. Not the best bread around it, but most of the fillings were spot on. I loved the rich sauce. Some of the meat inside could have been juicier, but that's a typical problem with a philly. Wife got a salad -- the create your own with a burger patty. She opted for the small size, which was still plentiful. She said it reminded her of a salad she gets at a top barbecue spot in Charlotte. We finished with a personally filled request, which was a rough first take on atomic tots that looked just like a picture I saw on yelp but was not on the menu. Kudos to the chef for that. Start with the staff: Amir was the host and our waiter. He did an excellent job. Professional, friendly, helpful and on top of things. The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The good though is what you really want to hear about. The in-house fries and onion rings were really good, Nicely seasoned. The mac n cheese was cooked appropriately, noodles not too soggy or hard and the cheese was a good consistency with a nice touch of light seasoning. The food was delicious and they had many burgers to choose from. The staff was also very friendly and offered recommendations as well. I am disappointed. We entered the establishment eagerly and hungry as we have traveled 10 hours on the road. All we wanted was dinner and a good night sleep. I hoped to try the deviled eggs, a burger and onion rings. I was also feeling a little dehydrated and was hoping for a beverage. We entered the establishment to be told it would take 15 minutes to be seated. A little perplexed because it appeared to be at 50% capacity but okay COVID and staffing shortages, but there was staffing. Did I mention it is 35 degrees outside? No problem, we have coats and patience. After 10 minutes we get a text message from the hostess as we are the only people standing there waiting to be seated, however no one had left. We get a first class seat that was open the entire time - right in front of the door. No complaints - we just want good food. We watched tables order food, eat food, and ask for to go boxes. Almost a half hour later we STILL had no one greet us, ask us for our drink order or simply say we don't want your business. Several of the same servers walked past us never engaging with eye contact or saying one word. We decided to warm our bodies, put our coats on and leave. I informed the hostess of the experience of us receiving no service. However, she could have noticed it considering we were in front of her, but she was busy on her phone.
