    Where's the tea, or ice?
    Tim Y.

You should avoid this McDonald's at all costs--it confounds me how any other McD's location scores lower than this one. Here's the tick list, as you can see in the included photos: My burger meats were overdone and cool. Staff made my burger wrong (did not include the extra meat that I paid for). My fries were cold. My fries were upside down in the bag, and they ran all over the place in the bag - staff cannot handle with care. My "iced tea" was as dark as soda, bitter, and warm - and was served with only a few ice cubes. The fountain machines had no ice in them to dispense. There was no tea out in the fountain area - when McDonald's charges more for tea, you should not have to keep going back to the counter asking for refills. Burgers and fries should not be served cold in the height of dinner rush hour (5:23pm) in a busy shopping district. The only reason to give this location a single star at all is due to it being a nicely renovated McDonald's.

10 pc. Chicken McNuggets Meal Crispy, hot, delicious.

The food was amazing, crispy. I love how it tasted! Service was quick, it only took around 2 minutes for me to receive my food. Ambiance was okay, the interior was good and pretty clean other than the sound of children crying.

Beep ... beep ... Yes, I have returned to a chain restaurant and a fast food chain restaurant, which should cause all of you who read my reviews to say DAVE NO!!!!! So, if you haven't read one of my reviews you should understand that chains in my opinion rarely deserve more than three stars because ... well just because their food arrives frozen in 18 wheel trailers that have been pulled across thousands of miles eliminating the concept of both fresh and locally cooked food. This stop, once a place where a clown was celebrated along with his array of friends, had trouble reaching 1 star and it wasn't due to the food because their fabricated food tastes the same everywhere. Now, I haven't sampled the new "never frozen" quarter pounders at the arches and I just might never experience them but one never knows. So, I found myself hungering for food ... any food ... FAST FOOD because I had just left one presentation near the Jersey Shore and now had to get to a meeting close to Philadelphia. If you have ever been in a car knowing you were just a bit "famished" then you know how your mind can easily succumb to generations of fast food images. Perhaps a Colonel comes to mind or a King or a sweet girl named Wendy for some it's ground meat in hard corn shells but consistently for many of us the Golden Arches easily become the image of the mind. I knew that I would be driving past this Deptford location. I knew that fact 40 miles down the road when the tasty of salty fries began to get my mouth watering for food; oh glorious fat enriched cheap fast food. Before pulling into the plaza I had sorted through my imaginary McDonald's menu and with thoughts of extra gym time in mind I had decided that the relatively new Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich would be the choice. The stars started vanishing as I drove up to the drive in machine because there was literally a ugly pile of "stuff" outside the restaurant where the old drive in was located. A trashy appearance is not a good indicator of a well run establishment. Now, I should have noticed the line of tail lights brightly lit as drivers feet rested on their brake pedals but I didn't. However, at 8:30 in the evening this line of FAST FOOD ... DRIVE THROUGH customers were basically filling the air with exhaust fumes sitting in the IDLE LINE. Perhaps, I thought, someone is buying food for the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team so their large take out order was causing the delay but nope. The slow process was an attribute of this store. It seemed that every car was given a nice slow delivery of their food allowing the rest of us to enjoy the view from our car windows as we tapped our fingers wondering if we were going to get our FAST FOOD. I am not a fan of the talking machines used by drive through restaurants to begin with but at this McDonald's whose star was already sinking to under 2 the first machine gave all indications that it was in operation. However as I gave my order there was no response. The screen wanted my order but clearly the headset inside the store was not tuned into me. Just an aside ... in this era of FACETIME, DUO and VISUAL MESSAGING wouldn't it be nice to see the person taking our order rather than staring at a machine whose audible responses make every word sound garbled? I finally realized that Machine number 2 wasn't working so I pulled up to machine number 1. The order was taken ... couldn't really tell for sure the price but was told to drive ahead. I wanted to laugh ... I couldn't drive forward because the line of cars wasn't moving. Now, you would think that the cashier would know what your order was since you followed the car in front of yours but the young lady had to ask what my order was. Really? But, I had time to tell her because the cars weren't moving. My biggest surprise when I finally reached the food delivery window was I didn't have to wait ... maybe just buying a sandwich was the trick. But as I looked at the YELP ratings I could have kicked myself ... this mistake was on me. I shouldn't have gone here because others had warned me. My food ... sandwich was warm. Could really taste a lot of mayo. Nothing special but if you have had one of these in Tennessee or California you know the taste because they make sure they are all the same. SLOW FOOD ... so many better options ... BEEP BEEP!

Burger runn Cheesesteak…read more I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.

One of the most fun things on the menu is their chicken "thumbs," which are shaped like little hands -- I wish I took a picture because they're great and definitely something you don't see everywhere. Service can be a little hit or miss, but not because the staff isn't working hard -- it's a big place and when it gets busy, it really gets busy, and they sometimes seem a bit understaffed for the rush. That said, everyone is always very friendly, which makes a big difference and keeps the experience positive. They also have a huge bar with several beers on tap, great specialty drinks, and drink specials, so it's a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just maybe don't go if you're in a big rush -- go when you have time to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a good meal.

My foodie bestie and I added Kid Rips to our must try list years ago and finally got around to…read moretrying it. Parking was a challenge on a Friday night as every space was full and turning around in the back lot involves making a k turn around the other vehicles who are also looking for a spot. We ended up parking down the street and walking over. We were seated immediately, as the bar has ample seating, both high tops and regular tables. My bff wasn't in the mood for a cocktail so we opted for Arnold palmers. Now, I am a HUGE avocado fan and I had heard about their infamous avocado fries so I was super excited about trying them. That may or may not have been the main reason for my visit. The avocado fries are fresh large slices of avocado breaded in panko and fried with a sweet and tangy spicy mayo sauce. I loved them but my bff wasn't as excited. He informed me he isn't a huge fresh avocado fan, so this one is for the avocado lovers. We also opted for the chicken parm rollers which is described as "Chicken mixed with ricotta cheese, herbs and spices rolled in panko breadcrumbs served with house made marinara and shaved parmesan" - they are chicken meatballs. We expected something else and now that we've had them and I re-read the description I'm not sure what we had in mind but it wasn't this. They were just okay. I think if they were placed on a plate with seasoned whipped ricotta and drizzled with pesto it could boost the flavor experience. For our entrees my bff got the chicken strips with the sweet and sassy sauce and I opted for the KO burger. My KO burger was delicious. The seeded brioche bun was buttery and fresh and the burger itself was flavorful. The fries were also fantastic. Fresh cut and sprinkled with a sweet seasoning, I didn't even feel the need to add ketchup or a side of aioli or anything. They were perfect. I didn't try my bffs chicken tenders but the sweet and sassy sauce tasted just like buffalo sauce. Pretty sure it was the wrong sauce but he didn't say anything to our server so that's on us. If you are looking for a bar to hang out and watch sports, get a drink, and have a great burger, I'd recommend this place - but maybe uber there.
