While more often than not this is one of the cleanest McD's around. Tonight's drive thru was extremely busy and was very much out of sorts. I tried the new Chicken Big Mac, it was as you would expect but the problem with this sandwich is it is very dry. It needs 1-2 more pickle slices, one more slice of cheese and at least double the special sauce. My wife's filet of fish had triple the normal amount of sauce for some reason. Incredibly long wait times, this place is always packed, the drive thru lines are long and they take forever to get through. Orders are usually wrong and I've also seen my food passed out the window to the car ahead of me, just for it to be given back and then given to me. Kind of gross. I had the misfortune of meeting the assistant manager (who I've heard terrible things about through different people) For an interview, this woman had no consideration for any information I was telling her. she steamrailed over how many hours I was willing to work, my career history, just completely ignoring my words asking me to repeat myself as she wrote on her clip board. the first thing this woman does is compare herself to my age and asks if she looks it even though she is ten years older than me which is terribly unprofessional. She sits me at a filthy table, which they don't even have the staff there to clean, she asks me automated questions & is guffawed that I had separate reasons for leaving one job/harped about why I didn't stay at the previous positions for multiple years, didn't understand that overnight shifts are unhealthy for the human body. She was ultimately very disrespectful and rude to me especially over the phone very rushed to get off of the phone with me, then practically ran away from me after the interview slurring her words returning to the kitchen. Shes refused to give my partner coupon deals, and is a general nuisance to customers that come her way. I regret ever getting interviewed here because she couldn't take accountability for the awful interview after we had tried to confront her. I was offered another interview here but I can't stand working with someone as insufferable as the General Manager. Rude employee. I was at the drive through where is was being rushed through my order. They made a mistake and said that I could fix it at the window. I wasn't even finished my order. They had this really cool hiring poster with all the employees. That was pretty dank. They had a fire place and some modern decor. Wooden vibe. They had Pokémon toys in the happy meals. Dover McDonald's is such an awesome place! Oh boy, where do I even begin? The restrooms are super squeaky clean! There is always toilet paper & hand soap available. There are 2 stalls, a smaller stall & a bigger stall comfortable for disabilities and safe for diaper changing. There is so much space to sit, very fun yet classic looking tables & seats. Whether a booth, individual seating, fire place couches, or high top chairs, there's such a variety and very family friendly. The lobby area is always very clean which is very impressive considering there are so many people that dine in all the time. They have a lobby person named Anita and she is very friendly & kind, very precise when she cleans the area. Entering the restaurant you are always greeted by friendly workers ready to happily take your order. Very polite, quick and accurate in order taking. I come here with my friends and family all the time! Always a great experience with the Dover crew. The best part is, they are open 24/7! Let's talk about food! My favorite items to order for breakfast is the big breakfast platter with hot cakes perfect for a complete breakfast meal, my choice of beverage is an all time favorite iced caramel macchiato. For lunch I love the Quarter Pounders which are made with fresh beef cooked to order nice and hot the meal that comes with the world's famous French fries and a nice Dr Pepper for the drink. Quality over quantity, food is always nice, hot and fresh. And lastly the staff! Really awesome crew and managers that work together really well. Nice work ethic, very polite and also very organized as well. Staff is always friendly, greeting with big smiles on their faces. I highly recommend Dover McDonald's! My only con is maybe the prices can be a bit high sometimes but that is how fastfood is. I find that it is cheaper to buy meal bundles. I understand that prices are made from the system & employee's have no control of it. But overall the coupons, bundles, promotions and Mobile app makes it pretty affordable! A lot of awesome discounts and Mix & Match deals. Seasonal items are what I wait all year long for! It maybe nice and clean on the outside but the inside (especially the fountain area) needs the Haz-Mat team and this is not the first time I've expressed my concern to them.
