Went in after the renovations and it looks like a check cashing store now! Absolutely horrible experience! What are they thinking??? They only have a window near the sitting area and it's been reduced to a dim lit corner. I never knew you could renovate a place and make it look a hundred times worse! 11/21/22 When you skip lunch because the clinic was too busy to stop for a break, this is where you end up before going home. When you're hangry and you don't make good choices, this is where you end up. Before we head out to the long crawl home on 5 South, I told hubby we should stop by Jack in the Box. We were distracted & missed Jack, so Mickey Do's was the next best option. I prefer Jack's fries over McDonalds but convenience & location won. After what seemed like forever & a half, the 2 Chevy trucks up front were finally done with their transactions & it was our turn at the drive thru. Ordered the chicken nugget combo with fries & hubby ordered a fish fillet sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised that the fries were pretty good (hot, crispy & seasoned well). The nuggets were pretty good (we've had better at other locations). Do they not offer hot mustard anymore as a dipping sauce? I'm sad, that was my go to sauce for nuggets. :-(( Felt like a long wait for the Chevy up front to get their food. There were a couple of parking stalls marked for drive thru customers to park while waiting for their food to be ready. Today October 14 is McDonald's grand REopening I've been waiting for them to reopen since it's the closest one to my house. I walked in and IMMEDIATELY noticed it's much smaller than before and they only have kiosk and one worker helping SEVERAL families that don't know how to work it. I decided to get myself a drink the first thing I see is EVERYTHING is out of stock they had NO SODA and no frozen drinks so I decided to just get a hot chocolate. I had been waiting for about 7 minutes when I noticed a worker placed a large hot drink on a rack in the back I was SURE it had to be my drink but the ONE worker in the front was too busy inputting everyone's order for them on the kiosk that I had to wait an extra 5 minutes for my hot chocolate. Finally a work comes to the front and calls out a order and completely ignores the hot chocolate I go up and ask is my order number ready he the turns around and grabs the "hot chocolate " at this point is was not longer hot and they didn't add any whip cream. They had the monopoly advertising ALL OVER THE PLACE but none of their items had any stickers they don't package their items in boxes only bags and the bags don't have the stickers also on the kiosk it said my hot chocolate would come with a sticker it however did not have one. I'm very upset this was my go to McDonalds before it closed but I would NOT be going back ever again I'm so disappointed I recommend the McDonald's at 3458 Whittier Blvd it's much better. read more
