Been wanting to come back again since I first tried Macho so came here for lunch while I was in the area. They have a self ordering kiosk and I ordered the Macho Crispy Chicken Sandwich (9.99). I did dine in and they have a couple tables inside to sit at. The food was ready in about 10 minutes which is quick. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, the chicken quality is as good as the first time I ate it. But maybe because I wasn't as hungry so it didn't taste as good. The chicken patty seemed a bit less juicy than last time though. But still a pretty good chicken sandwhich although pricier than other places, it does have an Asian taste to it compared to western places. I was genuinely so surprised by Macho Burger and it's lowkey a hidden fast food gem. It gets a 4.2/5 from how pleasantly surprised I was. My sister was trying out Charlie's Tea in the same plaza due to their bogo deal and decided the try Macho Burger. We ordered the popcorn chicken, curly fries, and Taiwanese sausage. The popcorn chicken was more like chicken tender nuggets than the classic popcorn chicken but it was so crispy and yummy. The batter was not old at all and there was so much chicken for around $5.50. This is so much better than the cost of popcorn chicken at other establishments and it tastes good too. The sweet sausage was not a favorite of my sister but I liked it though it was a little fatty. I'm unsure if the price was $3.99 each or for 2 but the size of the sausage was not bad and I liked it. The fries were also decent and crispy. I liked how crunchy they were but I wish we ordered a spicy sauce to season them with. They weren't bad alone but were a little bland. They are just decent fries though and they stay crunchy after a while unlike McDonald's. I heard the parking situation was pretty abysmal but that's to be expected at these tiny plazas on Valley on a Saturday afternoon. Charlie's Tea also was having their bogo deal in the same plaza, but my sister had no problem parking at the adjacent TAWA plaza and walking over. When Staff brought the food, Staff was robotic and swiftly scampered away without speaking. The food took four minutes and 38 seconds. Good time! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Macho Crispy Chicken Sandwich ($9.99 - Spicy). Its bread bun is fluffy and buttery. The chicken is thick, hot, and juicy with a light welcomed spice. I waited more than twenty minutes for this "fast food" when I was the only person in the place at midnight. It was close to $30 for a burger, fries and drink. The fries were decent but that "truffle" burger was absolutely atrocious, and there was something off with the taste of the sodas in the soda machine. I'm not sure that was actually real beef. Ordered chicken cartilage skewer - there was only one cartilage part throughout the whole skewer (which was personally okay for me but it's not cartilage in a whole as I expected). Paying almost $50 for 4 Beijing Chicken wraps sounds insane, but that's how delicious it is!!!

We visited this spot in the plaza next to where Tsujita used to be. Parking on a weekday night was easy, though I'm not sure how weekends are. We saw reviews saying the wait could be 30 minutes, so we called ahead and were surprised when they told us our food would be ready in 10 minutes. Sure enough, everything was ready when we arrived. The restaurant itself is very small. My son even asked why it was so tiny. The tables comfortably fit one person, maybe two at most, so we had to push two tables together just for our family of three. I wouldn't say it's family-friendly--definitely more suited for solo diners. Now the food: surprisingly good. We ordered the classic crispy chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was juicy, well-brined, and perfectly fried. It wasn't as thick as the photos on Yelp, so maybe they've downsized a bit due to inflation, but the flavor was solid. I wasn't completely full, so I probably could've eaten two. FYI, the brioche bread is very airy and fluffy that it flattens really easily, making the sandwich smaller than expected. The Brimage bread is and made in house because we saw bags and bags on trays out in the open. But the brioche bread is so damn good. The popcorn chicken was spicier than expected. We ordered by phone and didn't know it was spicy, so my little one couldn't eat it. We also tried the fried fish sandwich. I'd give it 3.5 stars. It didn't really taste like fish, but the sauce and brioche bread made it enjoyable. I wanted to try their shrimp sandwich (the one that's often sold out) so I might return for that next time. I made a takeout order on a food app and picked it up around 5:30pm. For my order, I got the spicy chicken sandwiches places and a side order of the popcorn chicken. I appreciated that they stapled the bag, so nothing was rolling around when I was driving. My initial impression was that it smelled really good. The popcorn chicken was crispy, spicy, and juicy in the middle. There's no sauce that comes with it, but honestly it had a lot of flavor by itself. Macho burger specializes in asian fried chicken sandwiches. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which I was told it's like a popcorn chicken in buns. I ordered that and a container of popcorn chicken. I asked for the popcorn chicken to be extra spicy. I mean I LOVE SPICE so I emphasized it. The lady on the register said I can dip it myself and it comes with powder. Waited maybe 10 minutes and during that time, the servers switched. my order arrived but it did not come with extra powder. I ate the chicken to test if it really needed more and YES it needed more. The second clerk told me that the chili powder is an extra charge. I REALLY don't think extra chili powder should be a charge. It's a seasoning... how are you going to make me pay for under seasoned food? I tried the spicy chicken sandwich which again was not spicy. It wasn't much of anything. I would call this burger... if popeyes chicken was drenched in cornstarch, fried, with slight chinese five spice. There's been so many Asian fried chicken places popping everywhere and finally had the chance to try one out. It's a relatively small place with around 6-7 tables available for dining. It's very clean and decor is modern. There's a kiosk for ordering when you walk up to the counter. Ordering process is easy and food comes out in about 20 minutes. A LOT of people order ahead online for pick up so I assume that's why it takes a little longer for dine in and to go orders. Fried chicken chop 4/5 - I got the original flavor which may have been the wrong choice because there are 4 other flavors total to choose from. I felt like the flavors were a little muted and needed more seasoning. The chicken was really moist though. I would try it again maybe with another flavor. Spicy chicken wings 5/5 - definitely my favorite. Good flavors, seasoning. The crust is crispy and super addicting. Fries 3/5 - kind of the same complaint as the chicken chop, I felt that it lacked seasoning. I might give the curly fries a try next time. Not a bad chicken spot, there's many more items to try on their menu and I think I didn't pick the right ones today. Not to be overly critical, but a tangier sauce would work better too, to cut the fattiness. Overall I prefer chicken bun bun. Also got the macho cheeseburger. Good and juicy. Eat it right away, as the bottom bun gets soggy fast. The iceberg and tomatoes are a little slippery. It's a pretty simple burger. Food is made fresh to order, so you may have to wait like 15-20 min. Meat was just right with the flavor and juiciness without being raw. It is on the pricier side for the burger but I would come again, not often, but one day.
