I wish I could rate this McDonald 0 stars. The attitude of this one lady who seems to be the manager is horrendous. She has no people skills and responds aggressively to a question. I simply asked if I could add a sand which to my order. She then goes on to tell and say " baby we ain't doing all that etc" after she said that I start to respond back because that was uncalled for because all she had to say was no. They gave us our food but I knew there was going to be a missing item and unsurprisingly I was missing a 10 piece chicken nugget. I knew not to leave the window open and once I addressed it to them the manager in an aggressive tone says. You need to hurry up and go you're causing my line to be held up. Well ma'am if you had not forget my nuggets I wouldn't have had to check my food causing me to hold the order up. I applaud the woman who gave the food to me. She was nice but she seemed like an innocent bystander to the horrible customer service of the manager. TRIFLING. For starters, there was a line wrapped around the building at 1am, so how we ended up with ice cold fries is beyond me. Never been upset about any fast food drive thru service till I came to this McDonalds. After a long trip from California my wife and I went to McDonalds for a quick bite to eat before our drive back home. We pull up to the drive thru but there are a lot of cars waiting to order. We were guessing there must be a lot demand for McDonalds at this late hour. So we wait about 5 - 10 minutes for our turn to order. We order the specials they were having at that time (20 pcs chicken nuggets for $5) and asked for a cup of water because we didn't want to drink any sodas at that late hour. They take our order but tells us they don't serve cups of water there. So we are a little annoyed but ok we shrug it off and wait our turn to pay and receive our order. However, we wait for almost another 10 min to finally pay at the first window - then another 5 more min to finally receive our food. By far the worst McDonalds in the world. Horrible McDonald's! This McDonald's has horrible customer service. Really long line at drive thru, worker at drive thru mumbles something incoherent. Then starts giggling. My wife orders breakfast items and a water. Girl comes back on microphone giggling and tells us it will be extra for water. Ridiculous, I am buying breakfast and you want to charge me for a water. I ask to speak to a manager. Drive thru girl tells me with lots of attitude that they are too busy right now for that. I decide I will take my business elsewhere. I drive away without completing my order. I call the store as I am pulling away to tell the manager how disrespectful and unprofessional their staff is. However, no one picks up the phone. I left my wig here and realize once I got on the plane Asked them to mail it back to me. When i got the package it was just a bag of 1 uncooked, thawed mc ribs. Went on Yelp and saw one employee was wearing my wig but he had it on over top of a McDonald's hat. It could have been a visor. Not sure. I hope it doesn't fall off into the fries when they wear it like that but I wouldn't be surprised if they put it back on after.place is nasty. I bet it smells good at least. This is by far the worst McDonald's ever. The service is always extremely slow, the employees don't acknowledge the patrons at all, if you have special orders (ie "no ketchup") it will be wrong 1 out of 4 times. I patroned here because it is close to where I live, but after tonight, no more. I entered the facility and waited and waited as the cashier had a conversation with some man standing at the counter who was not ordering food. When finally he stepped out of the way, she asks me, "are you paying with cash or credit card?". No "hello", no "how are you", no "can I help you", just "are you paying with cash or credit card?" When I said credit card, her response was "the machine isn't working". When I asked if that meant she couldn't take my order, her response was "the machine isn't working" as if the first time she told me I should have magically inferred that. There was no apology for the inconvenience, no empathy, no mention of what was being done about it..... nothing. Blame management for the poor service and her complete inability to work with the public. Any well trained staff would know how to handle customers in a way that despite the circumstances conveyed the idea that they would like you to come back. Blame management for not having any back up procedures in place for such an event. And blame McDonald's Corp for allowing this type of representation of their outlets. Here's a recommendation. Instead of going here, go to the Taco Bell just down the road. It is always clean, it is always well staffed, and the employees there are always courteous, friendly and helpful. I'm not crazy about this McDonald's. This is primarily because they are so slow. My gosh what exactly is the hold up? It's FAST food people. Also, this morning, I guess the worker thought his mic was off, but it wasn't. I now know that he is trying to get as many hours as possible because he needs money BAD. Spread the word. Anyway, this location is on a little access road and you have to go back the way you came because there is no exit from it at the other end. It would have helped if there was one. Hands down this is the slowest McDonald's drive thru I've experienced in Atlanta. Considering this location is close to the airport it would be great if they could simply improve the quality of service. As a lover of Sweet Tea, I was completely turned off by this location when I overheard the drive thru operator joking about how sweet it was a few years ago. She told a few of her associates that it was like "syrup" and "liquid diabetes". By the time I took my first and only sip, I was on I-285 headed to Perimeter Mall and it tasted like cold syrup! Thank goodness for the McDonald's near Perimeter Mall because they refilled my drink. She charged us for coffee and when asked why she said she needed to confirm there were two of us in the car. Now she has to clear the order and that took retraining. Ask next time at tthe speaker. If I could give less that 1 star I would. We began our order in drive thru (4 people) in the car. You know how it goes .. after each order the attendant says, "anything else ?" ... so I say, "yes" and give the next order. After the 3rd order the attendant says, "I really don't have time for this". I'm thinking "for what", "to take the next order" ? Is there a limit on the number of items that I can spend money on at your establishment ? It was very interesting. No concept of McDonald's standard of training or how the entity makes their money. This McDonald's has gotten much better. Usually my order would be wrong every single time so I would not leave that window until I checked every single item. I only hit up fast food once a month or so and it needs to be worth it. Also the fries used to be cold and the cheese on the burger was never melted. Everything was just lukewarm. Now my order has been right a few times in a row and my food hot. Also, I love dining room. Usually you wouldn't find me actually inside a fast food joint but this place has nice flooring, stacked stone, lots of large windows and a flat screen TV usually on HLN. it's not like I expect much out of a McDonald's but this was far and away the worst one ever! I wouldn't normally even consider waiting in a drive thru line but I was only a car back from the kiosk & my gf just had surgery and was craving an Oreo flurry, so g-dang it, I'm getting her one!.. not that either of us would've expected a 20+ minute wait just to get to the window...only to be asked if it would be ok if they put the mashed up Oreos in a shake because they were out of ice cream for the flurries (I know, made no sense to me either). I asked why no one could have mentioned that when we ordered...or when we payed at the first window.?. This quandary seemed to be above every one of their pay grades. Uncaring and unfriendly employees and management at this location. Food was average at best and good a long time to prepare and was barely warm when we got it. It was not crowded at all. Not one person said thanks or even hello to me when I was here and the manager sat by herself at a table on her phone. This is the worst McDonalds evarrrrrrrrr! We're talking about Micky D's here so that is saying a lot. The painfully slow; there could be one car ahead of you in the drive through and you will still be in line 20 minutes. I don't know what the heck they are doing in there, loving on the buns I guess but I'm sure it's not making hay food because most of the time it's lukewarm. If you try to grab a quick muffin on the day of our Lord(Sunday) you can forget it as the line is wrapped around the place.
