I came here this morning (drive thru) and order breakfast meals without meat and two of the sandwiches no cheese. My order came up to $20.33. I get home and EVERYTHING I said I didn't want was on the food and everything I wanted was not on there. I bring the food back except the drinks and the manager tried to give me a refund for $11.98. The small frappe was $2.00 and soda was $1.00. I bring that to her attention and she said "oh I didn't refund you for a meal". She then hand's me $3.00 more which is a total of $14.98. I had to tell her I paid $20.33 exact change in the drive thru and the manager claims I only paid $18.00 and they gave me change back! Heck no! She claims she couldn't find the receipt but then she gave me another $3.00 which brought me to the $17.98. After all the inconvenience they should have refunded me the entire amount because by the time I got home to even get the frappe it was melted and had to be poured out and the ice melted in the soda. This location can't follow directions and gets a attitude when you call them on their own mistakes! Horrible! read more

So this use to be my favorite stop until today, at about 12-1230 today for lunch i stopped by for some food, typically the drive thru is fast, but there was already 6 cars waiting in line when i rolled up. So typically its pretty fast, but the lady (and older lady someone that might have impaired hearing is at the box and it looks like she is struggling to communicate with the cashier, so no big, shes older right, give her time. One by one, each car struggled to get past the menu box. I pull up and in the lowest voice, the guy behind the mic, i couldnt even barely make out what this guy was saying, so i say, " i cant hear you can you turn up the volume, and again, in a whisper voice, i am not sure what the crap he was saying. So i thought crap, maybe its my car. Turn off the engine. I in a normal voice give my order. I can see the items properly in the digital screen so i know i was heard. Okay, now I am thinking, its probably some cheap old mic, not this guys fault. Head to window #1, the guy reaches out for my visa card, in the lowest f'ing voice still not sure what the f he is saying, starts to read me back my order and turns away from me at the same time. What the crap. Take my card back and go to window #2 where they thought hey lets put a normal person here, had no problem talking to this girl. This morning I went to grab breakfast it took me about 40 minutes to get out that drive thru line.

The person that took our order was friendly, the expediter at the window was friendly but while waiting for our order she just danced around instead of possibly doing something else that would actually be productive. A few minutes later we where asked to park out front, no big deal, except for the fact that we waited outside for 13 minutes, I literally dug out my receipt to find the time stamp to verify that I wasn't overreacting. Finally some stoner comes walking out as slow humanly possible, hands us our food, and says "have a good night" no apology, no explanation, nothing. My kids where already crying in the back seat since we had been sitting in the same spot for so long so I didn't feel like screaming about something to someone who doesn't give a shit about their job. Good thing the ice cream and shake machine wasn't working or they probably would have screwed that up as well. I've worked in fast food, I understand the reasons behind parking a vehicle, but parking one for over 10 minutes while 5 other cars go through? Had a terrible experience going through the drive-thru here! We received our order and most of the food was not included. I called after getting to work and the lady who answered was rude, accusatory, and unhelpful - she indicated that there hadn't been a problem with the order and that I was lying about my experience. Update to previous: The store manager called me, and in a very rushed and insincere tone - said "Sorry for your experience" - and that was about it. This is how seriously this franchise takes guest concerns and a demonstration of the level of professionalism they expect from their management team. Ok. Make sure to ask them for your napkins as they do not put anything at all in your bag besides your items! Remember to specify how many sauces you want because if not they only give you 1 ketchup packet and 1 sauce of your choice to last for your whole meal. The employees don't even bother looking at your or greeting you, they just give you your food and close the drive thru window on you. read more

I'm not a frequent visitor of this or any McDonald's. Today going through the drive through, I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 hash browns. After I place my order, I asked the clerk if there were any specials. He then told me that there was a special, 2 for $4. Nice for him not to mention this prior to me asking him. After I received the order, one of my breakfast sandwiches was missing an egg. Then, I go home and find crunchy flakes in my sandwich. The flakes were egg shell, it was white and crunchy. We have been coming to this McDonald's location our whole life. One of the best things about it is the fact that they still have a play structure! And it's a very good one at that! We used to love to play in it when we were younger, at least three times a week! The employees have always been really nice and catering torwards all customers. Also unlike many fast food places, they usually get your order right without you having to send it back. And the food is always really yummy and looks just like it is advertised! It is also one of our favorite McDonalds interiors. It is really spacious and even has comfortable couches to sit in. So if you want a McDonald's that is well organized with great customer service, you should come here! read more

We ordered a fairly large order, which included 4 of the Quarter Pounders with Cheese and Bacon in 2 meals (large) and 2 stand-alone burgers. So far, though labeled as such, there's no damned bacon. NONE. I mean, if we're going to PAY for it, it should come with it. The fries were also only half full, amounting to a small fry in total. That applied to ALL OF THE LARGE MEAL FRIES. You could NOT see fries if you looked at the box from directly in front. The advertising has them flowing over the top of the box! Also, they had virtually no salt on the fries. The onions were scant, the pickles were inconsistent, too. Seriously, we spent over $60.00 on food and received only about $45.00 worth if we had just ordered them separately. McDonalds should be USED to large orders at volume. And they completely dropped the ball on this. Whoever the hell is running the El Cajon Fletcher Parkway needs to be fired for not overseeing their crew's QC on their products. We will NEVER go to this McDonald's again. And we're not happy with the prices, so we may just go where there's actual value to the food (even if fast-food), because this was the worst McDonald's experience of my 60 decades of life. And as someone who used to work for them back in the stone age, I can say the quality has nosedived into a crater 100 miles deep. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! We waited in line for over five minutes with only one car ahead of us. When we pulled up for our one item, we got the most pathetic sundae you have ever seen. We pulled into the drive-thru and placed out order. They were out of Diet Coke. Luckily that had Diet Dr. Pepper, but I was already getting a bad feeling. We placed our order then proceeded go wait in the drive-thru for about 15 minutes to get our food. Did I mention we were in a hurry?? When we received our food it was cold. I am assuming it was already sitting there waiting for us when we ordered and they made us wait for no reason? In all seriousness all McD's has going for it is speed of service. Ordered a number 6, (sausage mc griddle with egg and cheese) the catch was i ordered it with no egg, i always order it like that back home, when we got it it was just sausage and the pancake buns, no egg, no cheese, brought it up and said politely that it was supposed to just be no egg, not no cheese, lady said, " you have to add that separately, whatever. What ever happened to good fast food? I don't normal go to fast food restaurants, but did today. I have to say the service was slow which negates the fast food idea. The quality was atrocious!! I ordered 2 cheese burgers with extra pickles through the drive thru. The young man taking the orders was great. I opened the 1st cheese burger and it was Luke warm at best. I waited until I got home to eat the second one and found the burger patty to be WAY overcooked. This burger was actually cold... the cheese was not even melted. They must have cooked these the night before..I can only imagine that Ray Kroc must be rolling over in his grave. The owner needs to stay caring about their quality control or the may not be in business!! Seeing what they put out for consumption, it's really a joke. Just give me the money!!!. They have 2 plastic A-Frame signs in the drive thru before you get to the order window. It clearly states that for breakfast it offers a Big breakfast with hot cakes or big breakfast without hotcakes hotcakes and sausage or just hot cakes. I was told on their register they only have the big breakfast with hot cakes. I was offered a la cart for $7.99(big breakfast with hotcakes) $5.99. I get to the window to pay and the manager (female) tells me they don't have that option. I told her to go outside and read her teo A Frame signs. She's out there reading the main board, not the A frame signs. I pull up to get out to take a picture of the sign she said they just got the signs. I live down the street so it is the closest restaurant to me. I've been here four times recently and every time I've either been given the wrong food or something's been forgotten. For example, today I ordered two burger patties for my dog who was in the back seat. Both window ladies made a comment about knowing what the patties were for and when I got home, lo and behold, NO PATTIES. It's stupid to have to go back to this store every single time to have them make my order correctly. I worked in food service for two years so I know for a fact this shit isn't that hard.
