Check your food before you leave! We were on a road trip and stopped in to get dinner. Actually walked in and ordered with a person. A very simple order: two Big Macs large and two cheeseburgers plain. We get back to the RV and one of the big Mac's were also plain. It was the cashiers idea to have plain cheese burgers since they were for our dogs so either they weren't playing attention or just didn't listen. Who orders a plain Big Mac? That's just a really expensive double cheese burger. Check your food before you leave! read more

As I write this review, I acknowledge reviews for fast food places don't matter. Everyone is going to continue to eat at McDonald's, including me. But there is something insane about waiting 25 minutes for your food at a fast food restraunt even if it is rush hour. Seriously. read more

We got our food fast, but I guess "May I have a couple of BBQ sauces" actually means, "Give me one BBQ sauce with a bad attitude." Stopped by at this McDonalds to get a quick meal. I ordered not knowing how long it would take. Once i ordered it took about 25-30 minutes for my order to come out and all i had orded was a happy meal which really shouldn't have taken that long. Once i got the ordered i had believed i received everything for the happy meal but once I returned to my car I noticed that they had forgotten the drink. I returned and it toom a while to get their attention as no one was at the cash register. Luckily they were able to gove me the drink no questions asked. This location is not worth stopping by if you want something quick. read more

First, let's start with the staff. Mass confusion on what their roles are within the organization. Multiple workers standing around and the wait was ridiculous. People should be working when they go to work and not shouting out what they did last night. Do your job and service your customers in a respectful way. Second, the food was cold. Fries were undercooked and cold. The deluxe quarter pounder was cold with wilted lettus. I will not be back here and recommend not giving your hard earned dollar for sub par food. read more

Who owns this McDonald's? Why doesn't the corporate office do something about this restaurant with such low ratings? We stopped in on a road trip for lunch. The drive-thru line blocks some of the parking spaces. It smelled bad in the restaurant (one family member said vomit, another family member said poop). Restaurant was crowded - long wait times for food. Flies in the dining room. NO napkins or straws to be had in the whole restaurant! Then when I received it, they had my drink and order wrong. Lord almighty I actually had to go inside and the experience just got worse. I ordered my food on the app (I figured it might be faster since it was packed inside and they won't take your order in person you have to use the kiosk) 45 min ago and am still sitting in their drive thru. I haven't even made it to the first window. The first time I tried to go through the drive thru I sat in line one for over 10 minutes while they took 4 people's order in line two. So I left the drive thru and went inside where I was completely ignored by everyone for 5 min and decided to go to the drive thru again. To my surprise line one seemed to be working well as many people ordered while I was waiting in line two to give them my code. The only reason this place probably stays in business is because it's right off the interstate. Don't come here unless you're prepared to wait forever for your food. read more

The drive thru lady was very disrespectful and short with us. She kept cutting us off when we tried to order our food and just gave us nasty attitude. She left the window open when taking payment from the guy in front of us but as soon as we pulled up she took my card and closed the window. I would give this store zero stars if I could. read more

If I could give a zero I would. Walk-in into to a facility in chaos. Digital machines not printing receipts, for customers, I was one. Pointed it out to the staff and they roles their eyes and disregarded me. I waited 30 mins for 2 double quarter pound burger and fries, THIRTY MF MINUTES!! Then I was serviced rudely when asked the status of my order. Countless people came in and left while I waited. The direction got worse as more pipe used the machines that weren't printing. The staff did nothing but lock the side entrance, I guess in Ana tremor to keep people from coming in anymore, thus locking people in, safety hazard right there. Waaaaaaaaay too busy. Almost had a car back into us when pulling in. There were people walking behind us so we couldn't go in reverse and the car just kept backing up. Idiots! Due to poor organization, there was a mob of customers all standing around in the ordering area. No separation of those who have ordered and those who have to still. One customer yelled "Have you ordered?" 3x in my husband's face... While standing like a foot away. My husband finally had to tell the man to "Back off! I already said 'No.'" Wtf. Wouldn't recommend. Wanted to knock out like everyone near us. I guess there is one a short ways away from this one. I would recommend avoiding this location at all costs. read more

We came in for a quick breakfast here before hopping onto interstate 95 south. Overall, there were no prblems with the ordering process or food. With my order, I had the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. The bagels good and done correctly. However, the size of the bagel was much smaller than what I would get back home in Va. Beach. The final thing is what knocked my rating down. The restrooms are utterly disgusting and looks like they don't care about keeping it clean. This was the case for both the men's and women's restrooms as both my mom and I had issues with it. After I walked in there, I walked right back out and waited until we got to the rest area in NC. Overall, I think when I come through Emporia again, I'll find another place to go. I think it's safe to say that most of these restaurants off of this exit are mediocre versions of their company. I try to avoid this exit if possible when traveling. It's always so crowded and the restaurants make no effort to have clean bathrooms and good service because they know they'll get the business regardless because of location. At least that's my interpretation. Anyway we stopped here on the way to SC or Florida I forget which trip and I had to pee really bad. I stuck to the floor on the way back and there was no paper towels and the toilet wouldn't flush. I went out and ordered our food and got it to our car to find that we were missing half of our stuff. We went back in and got what we needed but it was just a pain. And I just felt icky. We didn't get sick or anything so that's good but ick. WHY!? Guess I won't be going down there any time soon but now I'll know what to avoid! read more

No signs that say lobby is closed. Doors unlocked. Walked in and everyone starts yelling they're closed. Only the drive thru is open. Every website says lobby is open. It isn't. One lane of the two lanes is open in the drive thru so be prepared to wait. read more

Worst service ever. Staff is extremely rude with some serious attitude and slow. Most are just standing around. They won't take any orders at the register and you have to use the crappy kiosk. Only had one order in front of us for breakfast and it took them 20 minutes to complete our order. Literally everyone is just standing around like they can't be bothered. This is the worst McDonald's In any state I've been to. How on earth are they allowed to stay open? For the entire summer so far (when temperatures have reached triple digits), this is the only fast food place that says they're not serving ice cream despite it being on the menu. No ice cream cones, no ice cream sundaes, no milk shakes. Furthermore, I brought two little boys to order lunch and play in the play area. Walked inside, all kiosks out of order, all said to order at the counter, waited at the counter...and then was told it was drive-thru only. We stopped for breakfast on our way to Myrtle Beach. There was only one person taking orders - not sure why they were short of help? Just took a long time to place our orders. The coffee was hot and delicious. My husband enjoyed the Big Breakfast. I had an Egg McMuffin which was cold. Our friend ordered a Sausage McMuffin with eggs, but he only got the Sausage McMuffin, which he said was fine. We would rate this McDonald's just okay. read more

My kids and I went in to order today since the drive-thru was busy. The digital kiosks said they were closed and to order at the front. We approached the front to order and a woman working there, didn't catch her name but she was petite and had those really big eyelashes rudely said "we're closed in here, use the drive-thru" without even looking at me as she walked by. I felt like I was bothering her with my presence. I was frustrated and said to myself and my kids "really?" and she turned back around and said louder, "YES, REALLY!" with a ton of attitude so I said back "you don't have to be rude about it" and she went on about free speech or something... I didn't catch it all because I started walking away. I didn't want my kids hearing all that mess. I've worked plenty of restaurant and customer service jobs and I would've handled that by saying "hey I'm really sorry but we're not open in here, but our drive-thru can assist you." I get having bad days or whatever but come on now.... And acting like that in front of my kids? Not cool. Do better. I gave two stars because the workers in the drive-thru were very nice. read more

Me and my family tried to get food from the drive through and it took 40 minutes to just order, it was ridiculous. The menu wouldn't work and instead of closing that one and opening the other they continue to have people order with no menu. As we were waiting people that were at the order board drove away because of how frustrating it was. 20 later we finally got are food and they messed it up. By the time we got back on the road it added a hour back on to or trip it was a very horrible experience. read more
