The only reason that I am giving 3 stars is due to the staff that at least looked clean and the kitchen that seemed to be decent. On that note, upon walking into this location my feet stuck to the floor. There was puddles of water around the floor and wet floor signs places on it. The trash cans were over running, the place smelled bad, the tables were nasty, the sauces were all thrown in with ketchup and all, the soda machine appeared as if it hasn't been cleaned in a year. This is all the beginning of just walking in. I went here thinking it could be horrible and it could be great. I was correct about the first one. I tried it anyway just to see. The restroom, just stay clear of it unless you want to possibly catch something. The building needs a serious upgrade of ppl, the building, and the management. The cashier was blasting loud music, talked low, and danced and sang while taking your order. Probably the reason that my order was wrong as I wanted no lettuce. The meat was pale looking and the cheese seemed to be old as well. My order was remade due to the wrong stuff and the manager seemed as if I had done wrong. I ate one taco and the rest went to the table to stay as I could not throw it away in the over flowing trash cans. They have a KFC attached to this one also, do not try them either. The chicken looked as if it had been fried in dark dark old grease. Food poisoning, hepatitis, or who knows what you may get coming here. This place needs some major help or they just need to shut the location down. This is the WORST Taco Bell I have ever been to. If you ever go through here, don't stop or do yourself the favor and go to Chick fil a across the way. read more

I decided to go to KFC/Taco Bell to get something to take back to my hotel room. I noticed the floors were very sticky. Two people were in line ahead of us, waiting to place their orders. We stood in line for approximately 15 minutes before someone started taking orders from those in the line. Once we got to the counter, I asked about the difference between a two-piece and a two-piece fill-up. The young man taking my order pointed to the stand on the floor and said, "It's right there." I said, "Ok, I see that, but what's the difference?" He explained that the only difference is that you get two "poppers." I had no clue what poppers were. However, I decided to get a regular two-piece. While waiting, I suppose the store manager told one of the three workers to lock all the doors and that they'd have to go behind each customer to lock the door back once they left. That was strange to me. Our order was finally placed at 6:45PM, and our number was called at 6:12PM. I don't understand why the wait was so long; they had plenty of chicken and constantly brought out trays of it to place in the warmer. We went up to the counter to pick up our food and stood there for 6 minutes, and I finally said very nicely, "Ma'am, did you call 3287"? She then looked at me, rolled her eyes, and rudely said, "I did." She then put the bag on the counter with a slight attitude. I didn't under that, but I let it slide. Maybe she was tired because she complained to another customer about having to drive back to Petersburg, VA, where she lives. I checked my order to ensure it was correct and left. This location was problematic before when I visited Emporia, but I decided to do a review this time. I can't see myself returning to this location. I'm willing to drive all the way to Roanoke Rapids, NC, 19 miles away, rather than return to this horribly managed and run location. read more

I came inside and ordered , I waited 30 minutes for my order and I received it wrong TWICE. I was then screamed at by a young dark skinned lady and a taller man with dreads, the store is very dirty , there is black mold in the ice maker inside the soda machines , black muck and trash under ALL tables and where food is prepared, as well as raw chicken on floor next to fryer. Bathroom have urine all on floor. I'm very disappointed in this location and will be contacting OSHA. read more

What a horrible experience. I should have known better to not order here. First off, this Taco Bell location does not show up on the Taco Bell app. I thought that was super weird but it also has a KFC inside so I thought maybe that is why. Fine. I go in to order. I'm standing at the counter for a couple of minutes until an employee walks in and asked if I was ready to order, from the doorway. At first, I didn't realize she was speaking to me because I was not even facing her. I place my order, which was a cravings box with a chicken chalupa, beefy burrito, soft taco, nacho fries, and a drink. I love Baja Blast but I drink diet because of diabetes. I made another mistake of assuming they had diet before ordering and sadly, they did not. I also added on a chicken quesadilla and another soft taco supreme. I was asked if I wanted any sauces, to which I requested Fire sauce. While I was waiting, I washed my hands and filled my cup with Diet Coke. I did not wait too long for the food but the girl kept asking if my number was the order she was holding. I mean she was not in the wrong but really? You just took my order 5 minutes ago and only 1 person placed an order after me. I forgot to order sour cream and offered to pay for it, to which I was told "we don't have sour cream". My jaw dropped. The other customer turned to me and had a mirrored reaction because she had just asked for sour cream. We looked at each other and said wtf?? I asked for fire sauce again and ran out. So if that was not bad enough, we start eating in the car and became more disappointed. This was the worst chicken quesadilla I ever had in my life. There were maybe 2 tiny pieces of chicken, no chipotle sauce, a couple of shreds of cheese. The dog was very happy but I was hungry. The soft taco supremes only had lettuce and beef. The chicken chalupa again had half the amount of chicken. You don't have many good options on road trips but I do like to stop at Taco Bell rather than other places because even though it's not super healthy, I feel like it is healthier. I saw that they were the only Taco Bell in the area and with my diet Taco Bell is the only fast food that I can really eat. I'm driving as fast as I can because the closing time said 10pm online. I get there 5 minutes before closing and they were closed already. A lot of people on 95 are doing long trips and need to eat once in a while so seeing they were closed early was very disappointing. Now I'll be driving miles starving to find food, which will be hard because most places in Virginia close at 10pm. read more

Workers were super friendly and quick to get our eat in order up in a timely fashion. The staff here had great attitudes this evening, and everyone enjoyed their meal at our table :). Stopped by on the way through this small town after our eldest son's soccer game, and was very pleased with how well it all turned out. really terrible. driving for hours on 95 on our way home from vaca. My fiancé and I stopped here tonight at like 9 and I'm very disappointed in the quality of the food. We didn't eat even half of what we ordered and we spent 42 dollars. I asked for chicken on 2 of the 4 cheesy Gordita crunches which didn't happen, there was hardly any protein on anything and everything was overloaded with sauce and sour cream. I am not picky person and my expectations for a fast food chain are pretty normal and I couldn't eat it. definitely the worst tacobell experience I've ever had! they need to retrain their staff or get better management. horrible horrible. I didn't eat here, but purchased food for my niece on our trip to her house. It appears to be a new location and the grounds were very clean. I went through the drive-thru and was greeted promptly. I placed an order for a Steak Cantina bowl. They were friendly and efficient. The bag was rather heavy and my niece mentioned how nicely sized the salad is since usually they prepare them sparingly. They included sauces, napkins, etc. She was happy with the taste and temperature of her food. read more

Okay so let's not lie we don't go to taco bell for amazing service but I do expect that if I am there to serve me. Went through the drive through possibly one car in front of me and I come to the speaker box. I wait awhile before even greeted, when greeted just a "hold on a second". I said no problem, I am a bartender so I know that sometimes you have to wait. After a few minutes I place my order of food and pull up. The lady at the window is eating at the window, which I know is not allowed when handling food, also she is also more concerned with who goes on break next than me trying to hand her money. I get it high school students don't understand responsibility yet, but I don't know that she was in high school. I wait and she asks what sauce ? I said fire please. When bagging my food I got an obnoxious amount of sauce which at first I was thinking "fuck yes, hook me up girl!" Only to pull away back home with only mild and hot sauce. We visited the KFC/Taco Bell on Sunday evening. When we entered the door near the drive-thru, we were greeted by two trash bags with items spewing out - drink cups, dirty napkins, etc. There appeared to be a display or something missing from that left side where the trash was. The front order-counter was full of sticky goo. We could see that everything in the back kitchen area was gross. There was trash all over the floor, old, dried up chicken appearing from under things, dirty trays were scattered around the prep surfaces and things were out of place everywhere back there. After placing our orders, we went to get our drinks - I was able to retrieve a half-cup of tea after my husband tilted the dispenser and he retrieved a half-cup from the sweetened dispenser - after that, it was totally empty. The dispensers had ripped up wrappers on them that were gross. There was only a handful of forks left. ALL of the floor was disgusting, every table had old food, crumbs and trash on them. Almost every table had debris under them and on the seats. The trash cans were heaping over with cups, napkins and trash. I have never seen a KFC/Taco Bell that looked like that - EVER. It was beyond gross and this company needs to be aware of it. Potential customers need to be aware that this restaurant is a health hazard and something needs to be done about it. We reported the filth to the cashier and she complained that she has been too busy to take care of it - Why is the cashier in charge of that?? A girl did come around and tidy near us as we ate, but it was very little and was a bit late. I am just glad that we ordered pot pies so that we felt a little at ease that it may not have been prepared in the filth of that kitchen. My expectations were already low seeing that it was a Taco Bell/KFC combo, and only plummeted further throughout my experience. The service was unskilled with her register and incompetent with her menu. Once I finally put my order in, which was a painful task, it seemed like only seconds later my food was ready. I thought it too good to be true...and it was. The order was completely wrong. Hard tacos stood in the place of my emphasized soft tacos. Beef made an appearance where chicken was meant to take the stage. So, I then reluctantly and apologetically took it back to get my correct order. This process took 5 minutes and not once did the phrase "I'm sorry" leave an employees lips. Overall this experience was awful and honestly offensive. I would advise everyone to stay away from this establishment no doubt. The closest comparison I can make to this restaurant is the Chum Bucket in Bikini Bottom, and even then Plankton and Karen can provide better customer service. I legitimately would rather eat a pan of brownies then later discover it was stool samples from a vet than eat at this Taco Bell. Your money would be better spent investing in Blockbuster stocks rather than at this Taco Bell. That is all, thank you for your time. read more
