I go to McDonaldS about three times a week on my way to work. I really love the woman who takes the orders at 3050 Dixie Highway. She starts to recognize me and always greets me now. I go there because the line here moves really fast and they don't have the double speakers where you have to take turns to get in line. This gives me anxiety because some people do not know how to take turns. Wanted to get the grinch meal. I've heard fun things about the new menu item with pickle salt and grinch socks. I haven't been to this McDonalds in a long time. And now I remember why. Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich What Is It: It is a crispy, breaded chicken that comes with mayo, tomato, and lettuce. I had them leave off the tomatoes and lettuce. Presentation: They give it it's own cool looking box and the sandwich looks pretty good too. 7 out of 10 Taste/ Final Analysis: This is kind of a middle of the road chicken sandwich. The chicken has great texture but not a ton of flavour to it. They put just regular mayonnaise on it which is ok but the sandwich is just kind of bland. This McDonald's is consistently atrocious with their service. But today, it threw it threw me over the edge. I had been waiting in line for breakfast for 15 MINUTES, I then got up to the window to order at 10:28 and sat there until 10:30 so they could change the menu and deny me breakfast that I had been waiting on for 15 minutes. AVOID THIS LOCATION Thought I would give this location a 2nd chance due to the last experience was horrible. Today no different. The Drive thru menu board was not working properly. Next after waiting inline for over 5 minutes I was handed my sweating beverage and a vanilla cone that was melted and dripping all over. Then to top it all off when i asked for a napkin I was told they had none at that window and i would have to wait and pull forward. While this was not a huge order -- to be honest it was a very small order but yet they still could not get it right. When I handed the cone back to the girl at the window she asked what do you want me to do with it? My response I dont care--but I am not going get it all over my clothes. Then i drove off. This McDonalds is such a disappointment. The food is generally pretty good. I typically have stopped by for breakfast, but I've had lunch from there once or twice as well. What really makes this McDonald's so deserving of a 2 star review is honestly the pace of the drive thru. If you plan to grab breakfast from here, expect to add 20+ minutes to your morning routine just to get through the line. read more

I hadn't been to this location in months but tried it twice this week to take advantage of mobile order deals. The first time I ordered a coffee and order of cookies. I sat in the drive thru for over 10 mins and still had not received my order. I had to pull off after already paying through the app because I needed to get my son from school. I went back 3 days later for a different order and waited 10 mins to get to the window only for them to tell me to pull forward. Waited another 5 mins for them to bring the food out. Get home and realize I'm missing items. Avoid this location unless you are not in a hurry and are able to check order before leaving. read more

I am a hardcore McDonalds fan, but today I was let down by my favorite fast food restaurant. I suspect that they have new employees working currently, but that is no excuse for what happened today. I ordered a quarter pounder today, and I took 2 bites. But to my horror the patty was severely undercooked. This problem could have easily been avoided if they paid more attention as they were cooking the patty. It's simple to cook meat thoroughly, but McDonalds failed to meet this task. I will never come here again. Three strikes and you're out. Each time I've come here, there has been bad customer service, rude employees, and an overall bad experience, including having to wait for a refill on your drinks (they have to get it for you). Today was the third strike. I tried to order a single pancake for my four year old. I was told I'd have to buy an entire order of THREE hot cakes! I can't eat pancakes, and there's NO WAY my four year old can down three of them! What a waste of money. This is the first McDonald's I've EVER been to that won't sell single hot cakes to children. I've been to McDonald's in many other locations and in several other states, because my kid loves McD's breakfast. This is a first they won't accommodate for a child. read more

THE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST Customer service. The guest magager Tasha shouts out orders like a tyrant in front of customers. I felt sorry for the kids. When I complained about sandwich being burned and new one never brought to me, I told Tasha I was going to call McDonalds and complain. She said go ahead I'll be the one you will talk to when you call (very snarky). She did call here after I filled out survey. I said didn't want to talk to get since she was the problem. Then I asked for someone over her. She put Jamie on phone. Jamie was just as snarky, badgered me and tried to make me mad. Arguably one of the worst McDonald's within 2000 miles. If you're looking for a reason to cut fast food out of your diet, come to this location and boom fast food cravings gone. We, along with everyone in the crowded dining room, waited over 20 minutes for our food. Two happy meals and my burger meal. At the same time, the drive through was constantly streaming meals out the window. The dining room was very dirty, there were no clean trays to put the food on. The cashier actually tried to put another customer's food on a dirty tray with no paper liner. Customer refused the food because he caught it. People who ordered their food dine in, had to get their food to go because it was taking so long. This was around 1pm and employees had no problem taking breaks while customers watched, dumbfounded. If you want piss poor food AND substandard service, this McDonald's on Dixie Highway in Erlanger is the way to go! Let me tell you about my experience at this McDonald's on 1/15 at 7:30p. I ordered 2 McChickens, 1 cheeseburger, 1 6 pc nugget, 2 fries and 2 cokes. After waiting a long while in line (which I do not mind to do), the employee at the drive thru window handed me a bag with 1 fry and 1 cheeseburger. I hand the bag back and explained this is the wrong order. She said she just saw the screen and I did NOT have the wrong order. I had her my receipt and show her that I did, indeed, have the wrong order. She goes to get her manager to whom I wish I had the name of so I could blast her right on this review because she was the most dense and classless 'manager' I've ever come across. The manager opens the window and asks me what I do mean I have the wrong order? They just 'served it off the screen' and know what I got! Confused to say the least, I hand her my receipt and she still denies the fact that it's my order. This manager was so incompetent and narrow minded, she couldn't look at the receipt and see she was clearly in the wrong. After the receipt was snatched out of my hand by the lovely manager herself, I got asked to pull around. I pull around and wait 10 minutes, the manager comes out and gives me my bag of food they screwed up and says nothing. I ask very simply 'do you always treat your customers with such disrespect?' She tells me, I kid you not, 'if you had something to f**** say why didn't you say it at the f**** window'? Pathetic to say the least, the audacity to talk to a customer that way is beyond me. To the mid-twenties manager at McDonald's whose name I didn't get, with the blonde hair and overly tanned skin who was working on this day, you should 100% absolutely not be in a managerial position at any business. You present yourself like a piece of trash and the way you treat your customers is completely repugnant. The McDonald's in Edgewood Ky at 1 Sperti Dr. Has the slowest Service. Several people in the lobby waited 15-25 minutes for their Luke warm food to make it to the counter. Front runners are extremely unfriendly and didn't produce one smile. Back end food preparers looked confused. This McDonalds staff (like so many others) lacks leadership and initiative. Interestingly enough there is a large sign on the counter which states "We get it right or we'd love to make it right" It leaves the name of the manager, Ranae Lancaster at 859-331-5094. Yet when you call that number all it does is ring. There is no way to leave a message. I guess they're not that interested in really hearing about our experience. In my opinion McDonalds is one of the worst fast food (can't really call them that) chains out there. The manager should have been well aware of wait times and been more willing to acknowledge those individuals and immediately refund money. Fast food should be 3-5 minute wait. read more

You would think a McDonalds order should be short, simple, and too the point with little to no confusion. Well I will tell you what, just drive a little farther or just pick a different place to get a meal then at this McDonalds. I have had issues with this place in the past but I will never be going to this one ever again and just think twice about going to any to be honest. Slow slow slow slow slow. I work not even 2 minutes from this location and so I like to swing through and order a coffee on some mornings. I stop in based off of how long the line is, and lately it hasn't been long (I guess people are tired of waiting). Today I stopped around quarter till 8 and when I pulled up I was already the next car to pull up and order.
