Where do I start, I come in for a cash payment meal for me and my wife. The CHILD that is working gave me the wrong meal TWICE then did not even know how to use the register. After that I order at the Kisok to save the hassle I order an ice cream cone to wait for my food rhay mind you took 10 minutes. I went through the drive thru during breakfast hours 7:40 AM. Person inside said we will get to you when we can. 10 minutes later and still no one took my order, although the other lane had 2 customers go through. I pulled up to the 2nd window and was treated very rudely when I tried to place my order there. Ordered a big mac and a mcchicken tonight. The lady at the window asked me if I would like extra fires. Ofc the normal human being that I am said ofc. I get home and I have just finished my mcchicken and my free fries and I am looking forward to the main course meal of my dinner (the big mac) and there was NO MEAT ON EITHER SLICES OF BUN. No stars. Went to McDonald's to pick up my drive thru order and the automated message on the drive thru asks if I'm using my mobile app. I said yes. I waited for 3-4 minutes and no one said anything. I went to the mobile pick up designated spot and entered my number. 10 Minutes later I was brought a bag with half my order. I went in to get the rest of it and the girl was rude to me when I asked her to help me. I waited another 10 minutes for the other half of my order. At that pint fries were cold. got new fries 10 minutes later. I was at a fast food restaurant for 35 and no one cared that I didn't have all my stuff. unfortunately this is par for the course at this McDonald's. I'm not a huge fan of mcdonalds to begin with. Wont be eating McDonald's again. sorry not sorry. read more

For a McDonalds, this place deserves 5 stars! This establishment is always spotless, and I constantly see them cleaning their machines and cookware. The bathrooms are typically in pristine condition as well. The management is great and always helpful, and the employees are generally welcoming and seem to be having fun! They contribute to the overall positive vibe of this particular location. I like that this location has 2 drive through lanes, and that the food is always hot no matter what. They have specialty parking clearly marked out if the line is too long and they need you to wait for your food. Luckily, that never takes too long. There is a younger black female employee there that runs the drive through who should get a raise- She does such a great job, and I've seen her working when some pretty irritable customers come through, and she is still so sweet! Overall, this particular location is my favorite. read more

Just got home from the going through the drivethru at this location. Ordered (2) crispy buttermilk chicken sandwiches and neither had tomato on it, like its supposed to come with. Ordered (2) apple pies and was given one apple and one strawberry. Ordered honey, as my dipping sauce for my nuggets and received honey mustard. Waste of $10 and EPIC FAIL! I ordered breakfast there this morning. I waited in line for about 15 minutes which doesn't bother me. I asked for a regular coffee, cream and sugar and left and I opened up the lid and it was black. I knew I should have went to Dunkin Donuts at that point right across the street. So instead of waiting another 15 minutes in line, I walked up to the Drive In window right behind the first car. I told the woman at the window about the No cream and sugar and she starts to pour me another coffee. I told her I didn't want another coffee, I just wanted cream and sugar. So then she calls the manager over and she rudely tells me to remove the coffee from the window sill. Not how can I help you but just a really nasty bitch. She used the excuse they are short staffed, that is not an excuse to get an order wrong or for your rude behavior. I got my money back for the now warm coffee. A manager who's obviously is not going to keep any staff because no one is gonna want to work with that negative influence. Insert face palm here! Oh boy, another McDonald's check in awaiting my review! Joy. As I've already done about 3 McDonald's reviews in the area what more can I really say about the franchise? Also, with this particular one, the only thing I ever get here is a large $1 coffee in the morning. That's right $1 ...ok it's really $1.06 but really for a large Newman's Own coffee that isn't half bad. It's also drive thru which is helpful for on the way down the Pearl Street strip. Plenty of parking here and a fairly easy exit unless the high school lets out and all the kids in their little turbocharged roadsters decide to tear down the strip while you try that fun left turn. Like i said...not a whole lot to say about you McDon that I haven't already said on Yelp! Ho hum... read more

I review chains based on how they compare with other chains and even other franchises within that chain. I must say - I've been coming here for quite some time now (usually about once every 3-4 weeks) and since the remodel, the service has been REALLY stellar. I always come during the week and usually in the morning. I've noticed quite a difference in service over the past year. The crew that is on that shift is really friendly, much appreciated in the early morning! The food is comparable with what you will find at other McDonalds restaurants and the renovation does make it look more with the times. Keep up the good work! read more

This restaurant needs some serious cleaning. No matter what time of day, or day of the week, the food counters and floors are dirty. Often times dirty supply boxes are on the counter where they serve food. Also, don't drive away until you check your order! Other than that it's great! read more

This McDonald's is always very organized and service oriented. The employees are friendly and the management always seem to be dedicated to delivering outstanding service. The food is what you would expect from McDonald's being a fast food chain. This particular location was remodeled recently and has a double drive thru as well as a very organized number system for their dine in customers. read more

First of all I'd like to say that this McDonald's is very friendly, (in the morning.) But in the evening it's a whole other story. First of all no one smiles there, or welcomes you. Second of all they seem a bit miserable. The good thing about the McDonald's is that they rarely mess up your order. I was in a hurry and there are few options along the route I was driving so I stopped at the Essex, Vermont location. I have been to this location many times and have been disappointed more than once. However, as this is a fast food stop I have always shrugged it off and moved on. On Wednesday, November 15 I decided that I wound do my best to avoid that location from then on because of how the young blond window attendant treated me. I opted for the drive though service based on previous observations that at busy times the drive through takes priority over lobby customers. I pulled into the unoccupied lane and waited. After a while two cars pulled into the other lane and were promptly served. As I was on the phone with my husband I said, "what the hell? I've been waiting all this time only to be helped after two other cars pulled in and were helped before me!" When I finally got to the window, the young blond girl said, "we are very busy and we don't appreciate being yelled at." If I had not already paid for my meal I would simply have left. But, she held my order so that she could reprimand me. Again, if I had not been in a hurry, I would have requested a conversation with the manager. I am done with that particular location. read more
