This is the cleanest McDonald's I've been to! Playground clean they wipe down the structure from2:00-3:00. If going to play on the structure make sure you bring socks, if not the have some for sale! It gets a bit cold so make sure you bring a jacket! read more

Probably the slowest drive thru I have ever experienced. No matter what time it is. It's always slow.

I waited a few days on purpose to post this. Even contemplating not. But I will. A couple of days ago, my kids got ready for school so fast bcuz they were excited to go. So they asked if I could take them to school early...and could they get "McDonald's hash browns". Not our normal routine and I wouldn't call it a great breakfast to start the day, but it was rewarding for them to break up the monotony. So I said yes to both. Came to your store and nobody was in line inside but the drive thru was steady so I whipped in and just came inside to grab two hash browns. Walked in and everybody was jamming. Store clean. People getting it in. I spotted a row of golden brown hash browns that looked so good I thought about getting a couple for myself.(but I knew my daughter wasn't gonna finish hers) Everybody had their backs turned for a few seconds before the associate on the register noticed me over her shoulder. And when she started to turn, I was preparing my mouth to speak my order, but she turned and walked down to the next associate and whispered something to her, then that associate turned and looked at me then looked away and they both started giggling. So by now if you can imagine my feeling right then like...wtf? So she turns and walks back towards the register and when I think she's about to take my order...SHE TURNS HER BACK TO ME AGAIN! and starts redoing what she was doing when I walked in for about two seconds then turned to me and asked to take my order. And when she tried to look me in the face...the look of disgust I was giving her she couldn't even look me in the eyes. And I'm 6'1 jet black and ugly as hell...it was a little more than silent exchange aside from me saying "2 hash browns" and she knew why... As I waited for my order, which came quickly, I composed myself got over it and when she called my number, I happily and humbly took my kids order, looked her in the eyes smiled and said thank you and have a great day. Bcuz I learned and accepted something by your actions. And I am also very proud of myself. Bcuz the old me would have verbally let you know of my distaste for what was obviously and blatantly happening to me. But I think i said more with my facial expression than I could have spoken. I pulled into the Ross parking lot to swallow the portion of my pride that you jammed down my throat at 7:20am and had a convo with my kiddos while they giggled and ate their lil greasy ass hash browns. Moral of the story, knock it off with the bs as if ppl are stupid. Plus you don't know what be going on in some of these people's minds while you are making blatant jokes about customers and thinking that counter protects you. Shouldn't do things like that ma'am. And I took into account that she could have whispered "wow that's a handsome man"...it don't matter. Retrain on the obvious please. Thank you have a blessed read more

The ambience here is quite welcoming. They have one of the last play places on the island and my four children love coming here and eating the special chicken McNugget happy meals! It truly is... a happy place. read more

Horrible service! Our mobile app order kept getting messed up to where I had to go in rather than remain curbside with our 2 dogs. I got a half-hearted sorry for all the troubles. As much as I hate the long wait time at the drive through and having to make sure they got my well done fries done right..now I have to make sure they blend the oreos with the ice cream in my mcflurry otherwise they'll just top the oreos onto the ice cream!! It's been a good while since I've stepped foot inside of a McDonald's. I'm always going through the drive thru. And this location is one of the busiest on the island. It seriously wraps around the restaurant which if your trying to get out of a stall, you can't! I wasn't having it today, so I parked by Ross and I took my kiddos inside. To my surprise, the inside was just as busy but so well controlled. There are several improvements that contributed to the controlled chaos. 1) There are now 4 very tall electronic panels (I'll call them kiosks) that'll take your order! It won't take cash, but if your paying with a CC, you don't even need to stand in line!! 2) Whether you order at the counter or at the kiosk you get a very sturdy tent number you place on your table. A worker will then bring your food to you!! 3) When we were done eating and getting ready to leave, a worker came by and took our trays to clear the table! How cool is that! The new system now leaves the front waiting area open with a lot less people standing there waiting for thier food. I'm very impressed! Well done Ewa Beach! I had a great time and had a bit of a chuckle yesterday as I was noticing myself pretty excited to do a Yelp review of McDonalds. read more

The drive thru is the slowest drive thru on the island. I had an hour to get to work (20 min drive). I was late for work waiting in that drive thru. It wasn't even lunch time when they're busiest. Also the prices are higher than most other suburban mcdonald's. read more

My friend and I stopped by for a snack yesterday afternoon. We noticed the chocolate shamrock shake on the menu screen. The picture showed a layered shake (chocolate on the bottom of cup, topped with the green mint shake, whipped cream and a cherry). We asked employee at register what was in it since it was our first time to see it on the menu. Mint and chocolate flavors? He said yes but wasn't sure because it was a new flavor. We went ahead and ordered 2. He asked what size and we said the smallest size since we just wanted to try it. When we got our order, the shakes didn't look like the pictured shake in the menu screen. One shake was green mint with vanilla and the other looked more vanilla with hints of green mint. Where was the chocolate? My friend went back to the employee girl, who looked like she worked at the drive through window, because of the head piece on her head, and asked her if these shakes were the chocolate shamrock shake. The employee said yes, they are the same. My friend asked again and tried to show her the color of the shake and the employees response was the same. Unfortunately we didn't complain. As we ate our fries and drank the not so looking chocolate shamrock shakes we noticed a military woman who ordered the same chocolate shamrock shake that looked exactly like the pictured shake on the menu screen. Why? I don't understand what happened but was upset. Should have complained to manager. I don't know if I should even give 1 star. I guess I can for the fries. read more

Honestly, the 2 stars I did give are only for the following reasons: 1. Location, location, location - GREAT location. 2. Food quality is acceptable, except for the fries. The major and biggest downside here is pace of their service. They are the ABSOLUTE SLOWEST out of all McDonalds I've ever been to. I've never been in the drive thru less than 10 minutes...granted I usually come any time after 5pm. Tonight was the first time we've tried running into the dine-in. Both drive-thru lanes were backed up to the entrance of the parking lot, so bad that you couldn't even drive around to get out, and the parked cars could not reverse out of their stalls because they were blocked in. My other half ran in to see if it would be faster, as there were only 2 people in line inside. Meanwhile, I was still stuck in the lot trying to get around to exit. Regardless of how short the line was inside, he still took longer than 10 mintues! Fail, even though we did beat the drive-thru cars. This location obviously can't keep up with its 2 lane drive thru...not even close. The fries here are always pretty stale too. I cant recall that I've ever had fresh ones. Bummer, cuz the fries are the best part of the meal lol. If I absolutely need fresh fries I make the drive to the one deeper into Ewa Beach. I will continue to come to this one though, solely because of location! read more

I really don't like going to Mcdonalds very often. But when we go its usually for breakfast. The staff is always nice and very helpful. Maybe because they are starting the day off. The even staff not so nice. We ate the big breakfast, hot cakes and bacon, and sausage mcgriddle. All cooked right. Not over or under cooked. I use to eat the southern style chicken here for lunch but they started burning the chicken every time. So this would be the reason for not coming for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is always clean as are the bathrooms. My girls love the play area. Its nice for them to have a place to play and eat. Good drink selection but would be grest if they had diet dr pepper, beside just diet coke. Overall a good place to take the kids for breakfasr. read more

WORST MCDONALDS EVER! We order rice, they say they ran out of rice and ask us if we are willing to wait, we say "yes." We asked how long the wait was, they say 20 minutes. We paid and everything. We paid at 10:39pm, they close at 11pm. They had time to cook our rice. 10 minutes later, getting to the last window, they again ask us if we're willing to wait for the rice, we say yes again. We go to park at the waiting area. This guy comes and tells us that they close at 11pm and won't be able to cook the rice. That's after waiting 10 minutes!! Are they serious?The guy just comes back to give us our money back and says they won't be able to cook our rice and that their manager won't changer her mind!Who is that manager? The guy closes the window on us before we can even say anything. Why ask us if were willing to wait if you're not willing to go the extra step and make us waste our time. At least apologize! No apology and just plain rudeness. Whoever was the manager for this night, you need a new job!!!!! Nothing is made to order (fresh) when you ask for it. It's happened twice. If the customer asks for it you do it, not straight from the warmer..... 150+ reviews and only a average of 2 stars?! Not good at all and I don't think this place cares. I base all decisions off of these reviews. I gave them a strike 2 but that's about all your going to get. When entering this particular McDonald's there is a huge sign showing the Grand Mac, Big Mac and Jr. Mac.. when placing the order the digital menus featured the Grand Mac, Big Mac and Jr. Mac. However, when placing our order for one the cashier informed us that they no longer offer the Grand or Jr. The cashier was very pleasant at explaining the restaurant no longer offers these types. A VERY disgruntled employee was yelling and swearing about the Manger on duty and was leaving the restaurant. Very distracting and hostel vibe filled the restaurant. The cashier again expressed her deepest apologies. Three managers just stood there watch the emploee leave and didn't even bother to address the customers or apologises for that employees explovisive actions. We received out order, correct and promptly. However, the fries where under cooked and soft. We were going to seek an exchange but then noticed a large quality of pre-made fries under the Fry light and didn't bother asking for a new batch. We sat and observed the restaurant, there are four managers present. All of which conversed in their native tongue (non-english) this felt very rude to their staff. The entire time we were in the restaurant, the young Philippino man and woman Manger did NOTHING but stand around and talk and converse in there native tongue. The cashier that helped us was the ONLY pleasant part of our visit. Although her name tag says "trainee" and seemed young, she presented herself as the most mature and customer concerned person working. If this restaurant allowed tips she would have received a very LARGE TIP for her outstanding service. Your management team could take pointers from this young lady. read more

This McDonald's is terrible. The service is consistently slow and the traffic pattern is the worst. They need to put dividers up funneling to the drive thru. People often cut the line and clog the parking lot making exiting a nightmare. The combination of slow service and congestion in the lot makes this anything but fast food. read more

The orange juice machine seems to be broken often. The service is very slow for a fast food spot, even in the drive through. Stopped in to grab a quick breakfast that turned in to an extra 15 minutes because of the gentleman they had taking orders at the drive thru. He talked super fast and shortened his sentences causing him to be distorted. Either just too lazy to talk clear into the microphone or had not been properly trained to speak clearly when dealing with the public. Just to get two value meals from the breakfast menu had us at the speaker to order for almost 5 minutes because we kept having to ask him to repeat what he was saying. Of course each time he read it back and when we did understand he had the order wrong. Sooo once again the reordering begin all over. As many vehicles that are in the drive thru and if they were experiencing the same problem ordering as we were, I can see what was taking so long. Not good business to make people have to put so much effort in ordering a simple meal at a "fast food restaurant". And as I type this we open our breakfast sandwiches and no cheese on them as ordered based off of the simple order by the number from the menu. Will now use the McDonald's further down the road in the future. Just my rant for today on the dying art of customer service in today's declining society. And here we go again. Went inside to order food instead of drive thru. Got home and missing items that we ordered even though the cashier looked in the bag and verified all was there in front of us. So pretty much done with this McDonalds. Have been going to the one on Fort Weaver since my first review will go back there from now on. Constantly gets my orders wrong. I always have to double check my order before I leave. Today ordered 2 apple pies. I did check and i did recieve it along with the rest of my order. I don't eat at McDonald's much, but this new one is sleek looking and clean. Got lunch around 12pm and it wasn't too busy. Cashier was friendly. There are 2 drive-thru lanes, but customers don't seem to know this because you can't see around the corner. So customers were lined up in the left lane and the right lane was empty. read more

So a few times I've had the mcgriddle combo or the breakfast burritos. At 535am the worker who was talking stories outside stated they open at 530am. Drive thru was still closed, light off, and we waited a minute and the entrance doors was locked. I had a credit to this McDonalds multiple times because they would forget something when I would ask someone to get me food because I did not have a vehicle at the time or felt under the weather. The last time that I had a credit was in 2019 and ordered 3 saimin's and only received the noodles and hot water not the seasoning for the broth. Called the store to inform them of the infraction and the male supervisor on duty told me I could come back or receive a credit. I informed him that I could not come back so I'll take the credit he obtained my name and phone number. Because I don't go to McDonald's that often I asked him if there was a time frame that I have to claim it and he said no that my name and phone number will be in the book they have for credits until I redeem it. I said ok and so today I went to McDonalds and asked to redeem my credit the manager on duty named Khianey said there was no credit for my name and she didn't even ask for my phone number to correlate. I did argue with her for about a minute because I expressed that I paid for it then so basically I just gave you my money for nothing in return. She then took my card and shoved it in the machine to charge my debit card and I saw this and told her that I didn't appreciate what she just did on shoving my card in the machine she then gives me a sore eye with a snobbing of her head didn't say anything in return and I grabbed my card and receipt from her asking her for her name and she walked away. I then went to the next window to pick up my food and asked for her name she came to that window and I told her that I didn't ask for her just her name she snobbed me and said FINE! and turned away and walked off. I then continued to ask another employee for her name and the spelling which they provided. The fries were cold and because the line was already to begin with when I first approached the drive thru lane I didn't want to wait any longer for something that is suppose to have been hot in the first place. I am NEVER coming to this McDonald's again because this isn't the first time I was suppose to have a credit because they failed to fulfill my order to what I have ordered. The other McDonalds in Ewa Beach is always fast, nice and precise to when completing an order that I have placed. read more
