With Papa being elderly, it's not always easy finding somewhere to eat that's convenient--especially when considering the walk to and from the car, or whether there's a restroom nearby just in case. Food selection is another thing we need to think about. The day before, I saw someone eating that well-known Texas Toast, and I was craving it. So we decided to head over, and luckily, the handicap stall right near the entrance was open. Perfect. We usually go through the drive-thru and eat at home, so walking in was a rare treat. As soon as we entered, I noticed a female worker diligently wiping down tables, single chairs, and booth seats right after a family had cleared out from three tables. I appreciated that and went ahead and sat Papa down at a cozy two-seater. I then walked up to order. Two cashiers were ready and waiting, both greeting me warmly as I approached. I placed our order, paid, and got our food quickly--which was perfect because we were hungry! The meals were hot, fresh, and absolutely ono. But what stood out even more was what I experienced while eating and waiting for Papa to finish. The same woman who had cleaned the tables was also greeting customers, thanking returning guests, helping a coworker refill the drink dispensers, putting on a vest to run curbside pickup, filling sauce ramekins, jumping on register, and still cleaning tables. She spoke to her team calmly and even reminded them gently about things they needed to do. She was amazing. No one wore name tags, but bravo to her. Even better--I noticed that all the staff had the same attitude. The male cashier did all of the above too, and even emptied the trash bins. It was like watching a well-oiled machine in action. They called out to each other when customers pulled into curbside, and even tracked how many people walked in before they reached the register. I was genuinely impressed and grateful. If I had to work anywhere, I'd want to work somewhere just like that. Hats off to the entire team--good job to them all. read more

We love Raising Cane's and each one appears to be as pleasantly clean and professionally run as any other - at least here in Hawaii - and this one was no different. My son had an appointment out here so we stopped in, I didn't want to drive through because I had been sitting for quite awhile and wanted to get up and walk around. It wasn't terribly busy when we arrived around 11 AM, but within 20 minutes it was virtually packed, including the drive through. The staff remained calm, pleasant, and professional, and we appreciated that! They had run out of ice in the soda dispenser and they were able to rectify that in no time at all. Ordered extra sauce for 50 cents, but the two that came with the combo were sufficient. I was impressed with how juicy and tender the chicken fingers were without being too greasy. Crinkle-cut fries good also. I like that the food was not salty (dipping sauces/ketchup provided) and the lemonade not too sweet. Discovered butter can be requested on both sides of the toast. Perhaps offering one or two more dipping sauces like BBQ or Ranch would be nice. Requested hot sauce at no extra charge. Ordered from the app and food was ready when specified. I came in 11/30 and ordered a combo box. Finishing the left over chicken strips this 12/1 I took a bite and after chewing for a bit heard a crack and felt a sharp pain in my tooth. Spitting the chicken out I found something the size of a grain of rice and a chip of my tooth. I called into the store and spoke with a manager detailing what happened. Was given a email for a general manager because they were not sure how to respond. From a customer service perspective I was surprised she didn't even offer an apology for this situation. I am going to the dentist tomorrow or as soon as possible as my molar currently hurts. Canes is just a classic. I got the box with 4 tenders, fries, slaw, and toast. A lot of food for just me, I couldn't eat it all. The slaw is too thick with mayo for me, and it was really sweet. The chicken is always crispy and seasoned well. I enjoy the canes sauce as well. The fries are ok, nothing extraordinary but they hit the spot. We ordered two 4 piece box combos. The combo consists of 4 crispy chicken fingers, crinkle fries, Texas toast, cole slaw and a drink. We asked to switch the cole slaw to another piece of toast. The ambiance at this location was pretty cool. Felt like a diner vibe with the jerseys on the wall, disco balls on the ceilings and various paintings and murals throughout the dining area. Well, the menu is same all across the board, however I noticed from my last two visits here, their chicken fingers were smaller than the usual. I am sure even the employees would agree that they were smaller these days. With that said, shouldn't they give us 6 pcs when you buy the 4 pcs to compensate the size discrepancy? Moving on, this location is huge, but the parking spaces were just not enough. There were few times I had to drive two laps to get to a parking spot. I like that there were lots of outdoor seating great for big groups, as well as indoor seating great for solo, teams, and groups. As for cleanliness, the restroom was not always well maintained. Few visits I had, there were tables that needed cleaning. The staff were not very welcoming, but not rude either. They are missing the aloha spirit. read more

We ordered dinner for our family from the drive thru of this establishment. We got home and were disappointed. They shorted us on the chicken , fries and dipping sauces. The chicken wasn't fresh , the double fries was single batch and the half and half sauces were non existening. My wife called and spoke with the manager Karen. She was very nice and settled our issue like a true professional. My wife went back the next day to make things right and was greeted by another manager Jenny who announced to the her crew and everyone else in the restaurant that this was the person that made a complaint about their order. My daughter and I decided to come here for lunch since we were hungry. We got a 4 piece chicken plate with extra fries because I don't really care for the coleslaw here. I just added a small drink with the meal since the meal comes with a small drink. The service from the cashier was excellent. Very nice guy. My name was called in around 10 minutes or less. The food here was good. I love the fries. My daughter and I split up the food. Two chicken pieces for me and two for my daughter and I let her have the garlic bread and split up the fries. Everything was delicious. Plenty of parking around the restaurant. We decided to dine in and plenty of places to sit. My daughter got a table for two. Perfect size. The chicken tenders were huge compared to what I'm used to. Lightly breaded, cooked perfectly perfection. They were nice and hot and fresh. Fries were cooked well too. Nothing was overly salty which is a huge plus because sometimes the tenders would make me need to drink a gallon of water. That canes sauce though.. I always figured it just came in little plastic containers but WHAT. It's like they made the sauce in store here or something. It's delicious and nothing like the stores back in Texas. Came here for a late dinner. Overall, the employees were friendly and the service was good and pretty quick for the drive through. I did not care for the sauce as it was not consistent and tasted like mustard. The fries were just as new after the air fryer and the cole slaw was well seasoned and tasty. My favorite other than their chicken was the Texas toast. Its buttery flavor was very delicious and its a bit crispy on the outside. This was my first time trying Cane's. I ordered the 3 chicken strip basket with sweet tea. Chicken was good but I think I prefer Popeyes chicken. I do love the sauce and the building is very clean and the staff was very happy and nice unlike all of the Popeyes I've been too it's been horrible service. They are cranky and just seem like they are always short staffed. Which I don't get as Popeyes menu is very expensive for a fast food establishment. Unfortunately, the person at the register said I needed to bring my physical card to use the offer or get credit for purchases. The price hasn't changed but the size of the chicken has... it's now much smaller. From what I remember it being I would saw the size of each piece is half the size. Service is friendly and I can tell the managers are pushing their staff to go faster. However, I have seen an older worker deny a young worker from using the restroom, stating that she really had to pee. Anyone who can breathe can tell that girl really had to go. She was instructed to clean a table first. I just hope that management considers their employees health and well being. 1.14.2024 - Tuesday Yes, the improvement could be with the trainer not sure if that person was a manager or had seniority in this business. We didn't appreciate her training style with the two younger workers at the 2nd window taking payments & packing orders. This trainer could've been more helpful and needs to be self aware since we are customers at the window we can see and hear everything happening. Micromanaging is one thing but it also doesn't help your employee since it can instill fear in a worker and the experience while at work isn't fun for anyone. Not sure how the turnover rate would be at this type of establishment but it would be helpful to want to keep workers and this might be part of the problem. One thing I can share with those two workers to just keep at it and don't be discouraged, you both did well with service but I could see how bothered/worried/scared it seem while helping us. I get it's a fast pace environment but at the end of the day although it's training everyone should be a team player and at least help them out when it's needed. We went to this establishment at 9pm - so whoever was working the night shift during these hours on this Tuesday. This is a new place that opened up in Kapolei. They have everything chicken. Fried chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken sandwich. You can get sweet tea, some fries and it comes with the toast. It's kind of like a Texas spin on Kentucky fried chicken. They have two lanes for a drive-through. It was quite popular in the evening around dinner time. The parking lot is huge. There's plenty of parking. And you can go in and order if you choose to do it that way. The food came out super fast, The servers were super friendly. The portions were quite small for what you pay.
