So I understand that this is only a McDonald's, which is why I didn't really care to review it in the first place - but tonight's service really pissed me off. My husband went in and asked for two kids' ice cream cones and one regular cone. They came back with three regulars. He politely told them that he wanted two kids' size cones and one regular sized ice cream. This female employee named Peyton comes up to the counter and goes, "We don't carry kid sizes anymore, but here, I can fix that for you," and SCRAPES the ENTIRE ice cream off the cone flat. She gives it back to my husband and goes "There". OK, smart thing. My husband told you he would pay regular size but just to cut the portion on two of the cones for our kids, but you want to have an attitude and turn your back? Keep on doing what you do, Peyton. This McDonald's never has Iced coffee, or shakes. Their machine is always down or being cleaned. I live close by and 3 different times I have stopped for iced caramel macchiato, ordered, paid, and at the pick up window I was told they couldn't make what I ordered and ended up getting a refund. What a waste of time!! But the coffee is worth going down the street to a different location where the service is much better and their coffee machine is always working! :) read more

This place may be busy but for them to not serve someone who has been waiting for 20 minutes for their food. Two other cars pulled up beside me and were served their food but not one single person came to ask what I was waiting for so I had to go inside and let them know I was still waiting on my order. Then a customer came out and told me that it was my order that was sitting on the counter for some time without them realizing it was a drive-thru order. went to this mcdonald's and orders 3 orders of chicken nuggets. after we went home and ate a few, I realized that there were chucks of hard white pieces. we all got grossed out and decided to take them back. I let one of the workers know, he brought them to the manager. she grabbed them at threw them away, not even a little concerned. I overheard a worker say "well they already ate them".... yes we ate them, how else would we know there was something nasty in there. Horrible experience this morning I bought a lot of breakfast and then when I went to go get my food after I paid for everything I asked for a whip cream on my coffee and I want to tell me that I have to ask before when the picture has whip cream on the frappe. So, ya boy had a long day at work. Not a bad one it was pretty good but a brotha was tired ya dig? So i figured lemme get some chicken nuggets and a sweet tea and go home and chill. So i came through and get what i wanted and came home to kick back and eat my snacks. Whats crazy is yall asked me what sauce i wanted and i said honey assuming i would get a good amount for my nuggets but my question hear me out now. This is the worst run McDonald's in the Colorado Springs/Fountain area. Normal drive up wait times run 5-10 minutes, however yesterday my son and I waited 45 minutes. I had to go in twice to ask how much longer until our food would be ready. I finally asked for a full refund, which I did get. Normally, at any other McDonald's, wait times are seconds not minutes. If you find yourself in Fountain, go anywhere else, do not go to this McDonald's. read more

It's hit or miss here. When u hit it on the right day at the right time the food is awesome! And when you don't oh my goodness it's awful. For example, today we purchased two double quarter pounders, one being a meal because I never eat the fries and my husband and I share the drink. The one star is for getting the order more right than wrong. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal with an apple pie. I ordered the burger with no onions, as you can see by the picture, I got a burned piece of meat with extra onions. I guess they ran out of quarter pounders and decided that one burned patty wouldn't make the difference, especially with the added onions. To be fair, they did not charge for the extra onions. As you can see by the receipt, they understood I wanted no onions. I forgot to include the picture of the large fry, needless to say, I was given a large fry box but it was half full. I guess next time I will be more specific. As in, I want large order of fries in a large fry box. Also, I want a quarter pounder with cheese, but I want any onions or extra onions to be kept in the store and not on anything you will be giving to me, including the soda. Lastly, do not cook the quarter pound patty down to gnarled thin piece of round roof shingle. What was really disturbing about this order was the lack of the smell of onions. Not in the car, not in the garage and not in the house. I even got ketchup on my nose from my attempts to catch a whiff of onions. Nothing. I gave it a hard pass and tossed it. 10 bucks. If I had an option to give 0 stars I would, but there's no option for that unfortunately. I was in an RV at 1am and my family was tired and hungry cause we've already been traveling for 10+ hours and I tried to call in to see if there was any way I could order through the drive thru or on foot; my RV was too high to go through the drive thru. When I called, the employee named JAX denied my family and I service, told us to go elsewhere suggesting subway. This is terrible service for a place that is basically the only 24 hour fast food service open. My family was hungry and they didn't even want to serve us even when we were able to get a vehicle to help us out with ordering food. I do not recommend this McDonald's to anyone because of the rude service and tone of voice that JAX gave me on the phone. If you have an option to go elsewhere, like subway as JAX highly recommended, I would do it if I were you. read more

Hey, it's McDonald's and my expectations aren't that high. Seems to be about a 50/50 shot of getting my order right through the driveway. But my biggest thing is the biscuits at breakfast.
