I did not know there was a Brazilian style for burgers, and Marao opening up recently gave me a place to learn more. What is a Brazilian burger? In addition to the regular lettuce, tomato, etc, there is corn and potato sticks added to the mix along with Brazilian sauces. Ham and cheeses are the norm for most folks, but we skipped those. I expected something spicy, but that is not what is "standard". We added onion rings and fried plantains as sides. Way too much food for two people! How did Marao's do? Pretty darn good! The burger was a bit overcooked for my liking, but everything was fresh and very flavorful, especially the meat. There are times that each taste grabs center stage as the toppings and large toasted bun were very, very good. You need an oversized bun for the oversized beef patty and for all the toppings. We could only eat half the food and ended up having another burger meal for dinner from the leftovers. I swear the tastes were better after being reheated! And they have green bottled Coke. This is food prepared to order, so you will have to wait a few minutes at one of the tables. Others may be faster but these burgers are worth the wait. I really enjoyed my special meal, and will be back before getting any older! They are worth giving a try.

It definitely shows its age--and I mean that affectionately. (The Dudley Chateau) The building is well worn, it gets packed, it can be loud, and yes, the restrooms have seen better days. None of that has stopped us from coming back several times a year. Why? Because the food is consistently excellent, and so is the service. The menu goes well beyond what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub, and we've yet to leave disappointed. The staff somehow manages to stay friendly, attentive, and efficient even when the place is buzzing. The Dudley Chateau isn't trying to be trendy or upscale, and that's part of its charm. We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.

It makes the drink feel a little bit fancier and helps keep the drink fresh. It also makes you feel as though you are getting two drinks for the price of one . We sat at the bar per usual and shared the half nachos (+ candied jalapeños and chicken). We love the way their nachos are served and honestly the portions are huge and very generous. We couldn't even finish the half nachos between the two of us! The nachos are always LOADED and have such unique flavors. My favorite cocktails at Bourbon's are: Saturn (not currently on the menu but they are typically still able to make it), Clear Intentions (clarified Mai Thai with the most incredible flavor profile) and Freezer Door Martini. 10/10 recommend all 3 of these but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.

The owners are usually there on the weekends checking in with patrons. Always a nice touch and their attention to detail is appreciated.
