We decided to visit Bojaks for the first time last night prior to going to the historic Artcraft Theater. I had it noted from their Facebook ad that it was prime rib night! It did not disappoint! The prime rib was pricy at $24 but came with all the fixings and I appreciated the large side of horseradish! My wife is picky about her fish n chips and said this on ranks in her top 5! She said the batter was light and tasty. It is a bar / restaurant and the service was top notch. You could tell, this place is a local hangout in Franklin. We will be back! read more

Wanted food at 10pm so looked for a bar open late around me, chose here not knowing we'd be charged a $5 fee just to enter.. whatever, worth it for good food. Nope we got there at 10:30 and the kitchen closed at 10.. so spent $10 dollars on a high noon and raunchy music. 0/10 experience .. a girl just wanted some curds. read more

It has so much potential to be really good. We were there over the Indianapolis 500 weekend and the bartending staff just seemed to want to stand back away from the customer area and gossip I had to wait and I should say beg for a beer refill. They need to pay attention to the customers.. if you're not a regular there, they don't really pay as much attention to you. I use to go here every year for the past 3 years. Our server was great but went for cinco weekend and they charge a $25 fee to open a tab plus its almost $15 for a "Full" order of breadsticks.... its 4 breadsticks a half order is 3. and the DJ wasn't the best of could have been better the new management sucks. My wife and I were non-plussed by their burgers. Bland and somewhat tasteless, sort of. They had a variety of items on the burgers but all we could really taste was the beef, which wasn't horrible. The bun did not begin to encompass the entire burger. I don't like have to go to the restroom the cleanup after every bite. The real disappointment though was the new menu. Many of our favorite items were stricken from the new menu. The wraps are gone, pizza have been replaced by flatbreads, the Italian sub is gone (that was my go to), fried fish and shrimp, etc are no longer around. Like so many eateries they are driven by the least common denominator and are paring down the menus. I get that you n ed to save on food cost. I had been craving a good burger. After reading thru all the reviews I decided on Bojacks. I ordered thru DoorDash. Let me tell y'all..... that burger was one of the best burgers I've had in some time. I ordered the "build your own burger" added pepper Jack cheese and bacon and of course all of the fixings. It comes with a side of seasoned steak fries which are delicious. I wish there were more for the $17 price tag of the combo. I also ordered the pickle fries and a side of the jalapeño ranch for dipping. They were a little floppy by the time the got to me but that was just from the condensation in the packaging. A quick pop in the air fryer and they crisped back up. My son is a BIG fan of fried pickles so I'm looking forward to ordering these again. Will absolutely be trying more on their menu! read more

The last time we came here we ate in and food and service was great. We wanted to try the pizza so this time we ordered pizza to go/pick up. I ordered online on the way home from work sat in the car when I got there till I got the text saying it was done. I have never picked up here before but I didn't see anything that looked like pizza on the rack so I sat at the bar. The bartender came from around the corner and asked if I wanted a drink I said no I was picking up. She said get it from the rack I said ok but I don't think those are mine. She snaps well it's not done yet. I am at this point confused because I thought maybe I ordered from the wrong place. I said I got a text and she says if its not there its not done very rudely and proceeds to talk about how she is not working 4 days in a row and to another customer about whether or not they should hang out tomorrow. I was tired. I myself had just worked 12 hrs with out food. I didn't come there to get scolded by the bartender because the app told me wrong. The food was delicious which sucks because I would like to say I won't go back but the food was good so I probably will. They use a robotic 3rd party AI system to scrub the details off of your government ID, along with additional equipment to collect a real-time biometric photograph of you. The cute explanation is that it helps stop minors, however, scrutiny & online research says it helps track if you are banned elsewhere, where you also go to drink, if you are a regular, and plenty of other demographic and useful marketing statistics to help patron scan track your habits & "status". If you don't mind them training their AI system to recognize your face & track you around other places that also use said system, then nevermind my warning. I have to click a dozen pop-ups disclaiming all the ways websites intend to invade my privacy. So, a few months ago we started going to BoJaks a few times a week. Mainly for lunch and Sunday nights for football. Good food, atmosphere, prices and great staff (Anna is fantastic) We have sent many people their way since. Tonight we stopped in to grab a bite to eat and a bucket of beer and they refused to serve us because we left or ID's in the car. We are both 55 years old! I promise we don't look anywhere near the age of needing to carry an ID. I then researched state law for IDing patrons and there is nothing to preclude them from selling to us without our ID as long as we look older than 26. I'm double that so we're good. We asked the 10 other people at the bar if they were carded and they all said no. They were all about our age. They don't want our business they no longer have it!! You can get better food at a gas station. Pretty rough looking crowd. Ate outside. Took a look inside and got grossed out.

I was in downtown Franklin, so I stopped at this sports bar just a few blocks east of the courthouse. It isn't very visible from the main road (Jefferson St) since it is on the back end (south end) of a strip mall that lays perpendicular to the highway. Look for the JP Parker Flowers shop and you are at the right place. The spacious bar is clean and bright with seating both inside and out (They have a covered patio on the south side of the building.) They have a number of lunch specials, but I opted for ordering a "Mushroom Bacon & Swiss Burger" for my meal. It comes with chips, but I opted to upgrade to the French Fries. So glad I did! The fries were hot and crisp with soft centers. They were either unsalted or lightly salted. Fortunately, there was a salt dispenser at my table. The burger was a handmade patty, not some prepackaged option. The bacon was nice and crisp and came with a single slice of Swiss and a few thin sliced mushrooms. Not much sauce was created by the mushrooms, but the bartender did provide packets of mayonnaise. The table also had ketchup and mustard available. I am used to similar burgers having a bit more flavor added by the mushrooms, but this was still okay. The service was prompt and did a good job of checking on me, bringing water refills and getting me checked out quickly. The interior was lined with televisions, mostly on sports, though some daytime talk show was turned up the loudest of the stations. Rock music was piped throughout the bar, so most of the televisions were inaudible. Still, the volume was at a pleasant level which made it possible to carry on a conversation. On the north end of the bar, electronic games (darts, I think) lined the wall. Most of the seating was either around the bar or at high top round tables. I didn't check out the patio, so I am not sure what type of seating they have. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would return again if I was in the area. Review #370 read more

This was our 1st visit to your establishment. I must say we are disappointed. There is confusion on which doors are entrances and exists. The security was very rude about our honest mistake of entering and exiting the wrong doors. The patio was nice even though we saw it from the parking lot as your signs clearly do not allow vaping or smoking there. Topper of the night was a surprise $2.50 charge for a neat drink! Really ice is free, but not getting ice costs? And a .49 charge to have chicken tenders tossed in sauce although saucing wings is free? I don't recommend this dining experience to anyone. read more

Bojak's has a FANTASTIC bar menu! Just had an amazing huge bacon double cheeseburger with perfect onion rings and the Mrs had the lamb meat gyros! Well worth the 30 min drive due south of Indy to the quaint little town of Franklin Also, the bare is ginormous and they even have a special motorcycles only parking area. Very cool. read more

This was my first time here. I didn't eat the food on this trip but I was impressed enough that we are planning on eating there soon. I had a couple beers. They do have that fill the cup.up from the bottom system. My girlfriend was fascinated. You would have though they had a unicorn in there serving drinks. They have lots of Tv's and pool tables. Okay, so chicken wings gave me food poisoning. This place is to be avoided at all costs when it comes to food. Drinks are fine and served well. I had great service from bartenders and other staff, but please don't eat here. My experience may be A-typical, but the food gave me diarrhea and vomiting and I was subsequently asked to leave. Bojack's doesn't have any crazy redeeming qualities that people often associate with dive bars or bars that have been around for a while. However, one major thing it does have going for it due to its newness is how clean it is. This is seriously the cleanest bar I have ever been to. They have a decent size parking lot as well as pool tables, darts, outside tables, shuffleboard, and couple touch screen video games. Tons of big screen TVs and a decent food menu. If you don't want to pay 20-25 bucks to wait at bdubs for food and want to go local in Franklin, this is a great alternative. I Highly suggest the tenderloin. read more

Saw their advertising and thought why not, after going I thought why did I, the place has a dj and the bartender whispers. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I like to interact with the server. It's Sunday and hardly any customers so I wonder why the food was slow, finally my wives food comes and the bartender says wings are slower and mine will be out shortly. Not sure about that. The bright side was the food was hot and the beer was cold. Which is the least they can do. Did I mention an employee kept blasting an air horn inside. All 5 of us customers just shook our heads. Used to be a place where you wouldn't get great service. BUT they now have 2 best people in town Grant & Brett! They will pay attention to you - give you the best drinks and food around. Great pizza, great wings, PRIME RIB sandwich is the bomb(ask for the horseradish sauce) - then Italian is also amazing! They recently changed their fries and they are also great. This review is for the food. I ordered a takeout tenderloin and fries for lunch. When I got there, the bartender was very polite and welcoming, so I didn't have a problem paying the $14 for the sandwich and fries, even though it seemed pretty steep. I was so disappointed with the food. The tenderloin was soggy and wasn't even hot. The breading was so soppy that it didnt stay on the meat. The drive home was only 3 minutes so I knew that wasn't the problem. The fries werent all the way cooked, so they were soggy and hard to swallow. There were even a few fries that still were frozen in the middle. I asked for everything on it, and I found out that 'everything' means One piece of lettuce, two slices of onion, and ONE slice of tomato (keep in mind this sandwich is large enough that they put it on two buns). For prices like this, I expect a way better meal...not something prepared so carelessly and without regard for if it's even fully cooked or not. read more

I have personally been here with my boyfriend and we enjoyed ourselves. But, after this evening may 9 2018 i would only pay cash. Let me explain. On Wednesdays they have 2 personal pizzas for 6.00. We nurses had four orders. One of my coworkers spose went to get the pizzas. Overcharged one order 5 dollars. When called and asked was a 2.00 charge per order. Lied 1.00 charge per order. On the receipt. Well you spoke to a guy who took an order. No a girl because i had to call back because on hold for a while. I just don't appreciate people that are untrue. I like one particular band they have which is spankys and their little pizzas are good. After this though pay cash only look at your reciept. I am not a college student. The nurses that ordered this food work hard. Honesty is better. read more

Very nice, clean place. We had drinks here last weekend. The few times I have been here, the crowd has been completely different. They have a nice patio and dedicated bike parking. If you are a smoker, look elsewhere, because Franklin has an all-out ban. The only things I do not like are their lack of a beer list (waiter had to recite the whole list) and the often fight-inducing punching machine (I have not seen any violence here at all, but it usually surrounds these machines) read more

Also, make people stand in the cold while they wait for an Uber.. literally 36 degrees outside. I have been to Bojak's quite a few times, and I'm always surprised at how clean it is, seriously. I've never ordered any food off the menu, so I can't really vouch for that, but their drinks are wonderful. I also love that you can choose the music that plays (for a fee) and that I can play skeeball. Who doesn't like skeeball? Stopped in tonight to watch Nascar race and have a few cold ones. Excellent service from Amanda. Place has 5 pool tables and 4 electronic dart boards, as well as many other items to entertain. Not much on tap for craft beer but domestics are more than reasonable, imports available from cooler. Had the breaded tenderloin with onion rings.... Good fast service. Will go back again. read more
