Hashbrown
Bev L.

This was what I received for my breakfast this morning. I don't know what kind of egg this is. My hash brown is rolling around in the bag, very unsanitary. And I think this is an onion in my egg. Come on McDonald's you can do better than this

Personally don't eat McDonald's, but this is a great pit stop for truck drivers and buses being that they have parking available for such. Located in a pretty busy area (highway & shopping center). Doesn't directly pertain to McDonalds, but there are no crosswalks or signs for pedestrians to cross the busy road in this

Very NASTY!!!!!!!!!! Needs a deep cleaning. Both bathroom very very nasty to only be 8:12am. Kids play area disgusting. Dirty. Worst McDonald's I have ever stop at while traveling with small children.

The best customer service I've ever experienced at a McDonalds - this staff is to be commended.

Slow drive thru service in the mornings. The lanes are backed up to the entrance by the road. Wait time is 10 to 15 minutes.

Are you getting so cheap that you don't put napkins in orders? Btw why does your coffee taste like cigarette butts?

We miss it because we used to have a Balkan restaurant near our home but it closed down. Not all the pastries were up our alley but the coffee alone is worth a trip. Can't wait to return!

As usual, my wife started looking for a place we haven't been before. Having been in Fredericksburg now for almost 2 1/2 years, the list of such places is getting shorter. We were out Route 3 west of 95, and she found a place called Affogato Europa Cafe. It's a family-run cafe and bakery featuring pastries, sandwiches, coffees, and lots of other sweets. It was a very clean, friendly looking place. We looked at the menu and my wife decided to have a Beef and Onion Burek, which is a traditional Balkan flaky pastry filled with, in this case, beef and onions. It was fantastic. Very flavorful and the pastry melted in your mouth. I'm a sucker for anything with the word "breakfast" in it. I had the Balkan Breakfast Panini. This marvelous sandwich contains egg, chorizo, cheese spread, provolone, tomato, and arugula. It was outstanding and the chorizo was very tasty (though a bit hard to bite through). I know I love a sandwich when after I put the last bite in my mouth, I feel a little sad because it is all done. Such was the case here. My wife had a Cortado espresso, which she loved but was a bit strong for me. I had a London Fog, which seemed like a latte with a hint of Earl Gray tea. I loved it, and when my wife tasted it she pronounced it "nummy". She doesn't use that word a lot so when she does I know she loves it. After lunch we split a Lava Cake, which is a small but decadent chocolate cupcake. The dining room was small but comfortable. The servers we encountered at the counter were very friendly. Rest room was very clean. It's not really close to us, but when were shopping out on Route 3, we'll certainly try them again.

Well this was unexpected…read more.. Okay.So first, they have friendly people who really know the restaurant that they're in, which is kind of cool. And this place is amazingly clean. So we got pies, me and my wife.We got pies. I got the meat pie.The very first one on the list and I have to tell you it was great. I did make a mistake though. If I had to do it all over again, I would wait till it cools a little bit. I would not cut it in half. I would very carefully remove that top crusty layer, ohh, my god, what a feast of flavor. Secondly, for god's sake, don't cut the d*** thing in half. Use the little plastic fork and knife and cut about an inch and a half or two inches of the crust off of one edge of the pie. This does two things first. It lets you taste this amazing crust by itself. And on its own and trust me, it does stand alone. That when the pie cools a little bit more, then, you can pick it up and eat it from one edge, All the way through to the other edge. Because if you cut it in half, you have to deal with the widest part twice. And that gets it all over your face. But hey, if you're a face eater, go all the way. We got the dessert pie, it was small. We cut it in half, and we each had half. And that was easy to deal with in half. But make no mistake, this is a good meal. And they have so many options. And might I say good options. Now, I have to come back so many times to be able to try all the different kinds. However, if you're just driving through and you want something to grab and take in the car with you. Yup this is the stop. This is the place you want to get into and out of quickly because you can get in and out quickly. I would venture to say, with the average time in a mcdonald's being around twenty five minutes just to get your food, you can probably get real food here faster unless they're really busy. That happens if they're really busy, just be patient. It's worth the wait.

It's a nice little stand alone coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a drive-thru. Immediately upon pulling into their well maintained parking lot, the exterior drew us in with a modern aesthetic and clean textured appearance. The inside continues the same appeal with their various seating arrangements and displays. We love, support, and appreciate their mission (evidenced by their merch & decor), which is to serve coffee and culture to those who love America. The service has always been phenomenal--friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We've come at less busy times so we haven't had to wait in line or wait long for our order to be fulfilled. They offer 5 signature beverages, aptly called "Hero Beverages, which consist: Liberty Bell (caramel & vanilla), Betsy Ross (wild blackberry & white mocha), Jet Fuel (spiced brown sugar & energy boost), 1776 (sea salt toffee caramel & mocha), and Smokey Joe (hickory smoke). These are available iced or hot. My go-to is the Liberty Bell. They also offer some tasty treats, sweet and savory. We've enjoyed their blueberry muffin and their sausage & egg on a waffle. I find that some of their food items have usually run out or have changed since our last visit. Granted, we usually get here mid-morning or later in the afternoon. There are 2 individual restrooms available, which are usually clean and well maintained. Overall, we enjoy stopping by this place for our little pick-me-up as we're passing through on our long trips. We also appreciate that we can support a business that are committed to upholding our military personnel, law enforcement, and first responders.

There's a lot of space inside along with a small "storefront" where you can buy merch and bags of coffee. I tried their spicy breakfast biscuit and really enjoyed it - perfect balance of flavor. I really enjoyed the smooth flavor, I just might order it half sweet the next time.
