After arriving at the restaurant, we order after a rush and did not get our food for over 20 minutes. When mentioned to the workers, they did not apologize, but instead made excuses as to why the food was not cooked nor delivered. After confronted, employees talked bad about us, and we could see this clearly happening at the cash register from our table. When entering this establishment it looks clean some scraps on the floor but high traffic area doing business here at Gila Bend very satisfied with the environment. We're going to order the classic two cheeseburger meal supersized add big Mac sauce so we will see how it comes out The parking was kind of tight and the line was a little long but like I said location very busy. Stopped here while traveling from Tucson to San Diego on 2/8/19 at 12:07 pm. Husband went in and used the terminal to order my Quarter pound hamburger. Very clearly says that on the receipt but my hamburger came with 2 pieces of cheese, not ordered. Would have brought it back but already waited forever. Manager, your employees aren't paying attention to your customer or the kiosk order. I did not order cheese. Glad I'm not allergic. Please do a better job of listening to the exact order. Horrible customer service by cashier to what I found out by a reluctant associate cashier Coleman. Ks# 1 on 12/14/2019 @ 1010am in Gila bend AZ. I being a store manager would never ever let my employees help my customers the way he did us. It's sad to see that our new generation has no customer service skills. When I placed my order and asked for coffee he literally told me in a very rude manner well it's over there and pointed. Never saying coffee will be right up. Never had I had such rudeness being spoken too. Afterwards sitting with my 80 year old mother whom says daughter stay calm not everyone will be friendly. I entered the amount of cream and sugar to add in per the screen instructions. I am not a big fan of fast food however when driving to from Phoenix/San Diego it is the most convenient spot to stop and grab a snack and use the facilities. Sometimes I wish the Love's next door had a Subway or something like that since Gila Bend doesn't really have health food options. read more

If you get here during rush hour, it can get pretty slow. However, breakfast is par with other decent McD's and the bathroom and general cleanliness is slightly above par. Good place to take a break. No playground though. read more

Sunday June 9th, Went to drive thru to get some coffee at 5:10 am, a guy was taking out the trash and told me they opened at 5 and I said it's 5:10 and he ignored me. A lady inside saw me and she totally ignored me as well. I just wanted to get some coffee and I couldn't get down at the gas station bc my little one was sleeping inside the car so I had to wait until Yuma which was two more hours for coffee. Thank goodness there was a McD's in this town! We were driving for hours with nothing in sight and my toddler was screaming his head off! I'm giving this place a 5 because the 2.5 stars turned me off and we almost didn't go. But it was clean, fast and the food tasted just as good as any McDonalds. The Gila Bend McDonald's is a destination for the bathrooms, not the food or service. I stop on every trip from Yuma to Phoenix (there and back) for a restroom break. The 2 stars is for the restroom, not the restaurant. This review is based on the standard baseline of McDonalds. Given the food is what it is. I normally feel obligated to put an order in as I use their facilities, but I'm basically using them as a pit stop not because I'm hungry or crave bad service, a long wait or McDonalds food. The service at the counter is slow, impersonal and boarders on unsanitary. If you want to hear about the personal lives of the workers (which is not an option if you're at the counter waiting for your food) go to this McDonalds, where the gossip is more important than getting the food out correctly and in a timely fashion (again the baseline is a normal McDonalds). Case in point; last night heading home we made our ritual stop. The restaurant was not busy, maybe a dozen people in the place, total. There were 6 orders pending filling on the counter when I walked up. I ordered a cone and a mocha latte. The cashier promptly put my order on the counter in line with the other six, and turned to look for the next customer, which wasn't there. He was obviously told to work the register not assist with drinks or food. So for the next 15 minutes I listened to the two ladies filling orders talk about who called in, and who said what, and she did this and he did that. My order number finally came up and the lady makes the cone and sits it on the counter after coughing into her hand, then proceeds to make the latte as my cone is decomposing on the counter. She plops the drink on the counter and yells out the order number as she turns and grabs a bag for the next order. No personal contact, no thank you, not even waiting to see if someone claims the order. I just felt this needed to be said since so many others seem to think this type of behavior is typical for McDonald's. It isn't. The management is lax at this facility and the workers unmotivated. So if you need a potty break, stop by. If you want quick service for typical fast food, go somewhere else, this isn't fast, at least not at the counter. read more

Stopped here to pee and eat breakfast our way to Rocky Point from Phoenix. Being a popular stopping point for those going to Mexico and San Diego you would think they would be suited to handle a plentiful amount of customers.....Nope. Walked in to see the counter lined with at least twenty tickets that hadn't been made and the kitchen staff seemed to move at a glacial pace. We were able to order right away but got stuck waiting 10 minutes before they called our number only to tell us they were out of sausage. Did I mention it was only 7:30? They still had three hours to go! After yet another 10 minutes they finally were substituted two sad looking bacon strips on a biscuit and called my number. It was the driest thing I have ever eaten. Absolutely the worst McDonald's anywhere! Bathroom's trash was overflowing and had no toilet paper. Most pathetic looking employees ever - everyone looked miserable.
