I was extremely disappointed in all of the employees. They were rude and unhinged. They did not allow us to change our order in the drive thru and made us pull to the front of the restaurant without giving back my credit card and I politely refused to leave without my credit card and they decided to insult us verbally. The young man working as a manager or assistant manager here is terrible. He kept putting his hands inside his mask and around the nose/mouth area while coughing. Actually shocked to see so many negative reviews. We don't frequent McDonald's, but we have lived in the neighborhood for 10 years so we've been here a decent amount of times. And my kids love getting McDonald's on road trips so I have a fair share of McD's experiences to compare this one to. I admit, we never go inside, but I can tell you the drive thru is lightening fast every time, especially considering how crowded it often is. And they always get our order right. BAD FOOD!! This McDonalds really kicks it old school complete with vintage fiber glass and orange Naugahyde booths, and groovy orange flower pot lamps, pretty cool. The menu was also featuring some of McDonalds newer products so I though so might try one... So the PROBLEM here is the FOOD, or at least the healthy stuff. I got the Asian Salad to go. It looked very strange when I opened the cover. Pea pods were warm, mandarin orange slices were warm and watery. The lettuce mix was supposed to be healthier with greens and kale, it was 99% head lettuce. Unfortunately I paid for the salad with chicken cause that was horrible too. How do they mess this up? It tasted off and smelled like fish. I took one bite of it and a few of the lettuce and had to toss it. What a waste of $5.69!! It was my dinner... bummed!! read more

The food was what I expected for a fast food establishment but the people working were completely disrespectful and rude. I had to wait quite some time before the man talking the orders even could help me. Another one was swearing and yelling offensive words while the guy taking my order was talking. Slowest McDonalds I have ever been too. We waited over 30 minutes and all we ordered was McFlurries. They made two, left them sitting and helped a whole bunch of customers but forgot about our order. No one seemed to know what was going on. By the time we got our order the ice cream was liquid on four and they had hardly any Oreo inside. I seriously hate this McDonald's. I honestly don't know how to properly express the amount of hatred I have for this specific McDonald's. I hate them so much that I will get the fuck up out of my car and get my own food, rather than having to deal with the frustration of order in that 'disgusting drive-thu ever again. Open 24 hours- the food is what you'd expect. The only real criticism I have is that sometimes the food tastes like it's been sitting out (temperature isn't up to par). Either way, I'm glad there's something open late when I'm starving and don't want to cook. read more

Update 10/13/16: Recently, ordering breakfast here during non-breakfast hours has been better because we've learned to specify when placing our order that we want things (such as hash browns) "made fresh". Doing this, we've had a lot better results. I also like that they've expanded their all-day breakfast menu, as breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. *** I love breakfast, and the idea of breakfast served all day is good in theory. But in reality, if you order breakfast during non-breakfast hours from this location, your order will NOT be fresh or cooked well. We've tried on more than one occasion, and the food is either hard and cold because it's been sitting around for hours unordered or hard-as-a-rock and overcooked because old product that has been sitting around is refried a 2nd time, like the hash browns we ordered today in the late evening. If you're going to serve breakfast all day, it needs to be made fresh no matter what time it's ordered. Otherwise, "all day" breakfast is nothing more than marketing hype. read more

Welcome to one of the most expensive McDonalds anywhere. That's for starters. I've noticed a trend recently at the McDonalds with a drive through. They seem pressured to work feverishly to keep the drive-through line moving at the expense of the walk-ins. I understand that the City/County gets upset when there are cars backed up onto the street; I admit it is a problem. However.....if you are a manager reading this....please be aware that it is obvious and needs some thought to come up with a solution. And....how about keeping your prices in line with Ventura and most anywhere else.
