This Mcdonald's has good food. But the drive thru sucks. The only reason I went to this Mcdonald's was because it was on on my way home from the airport and I was craving hashbrowns and a mcgriddle. Come to find out when I get to the drive thru that "breakfast all day" means LIMITED breakfast menu all day. Stupid. No Mcgriddle for me. So I ordered my Hashbrowns. When I got to the second window they told me to pull up to the yellow line and they would bring my hashbrowns out to me. Well I sat at the yellow line for 10 min, then they brought out the wrong order. Another 5 minutes passed and they finally brought out the correct order. 15 minutes for hashbrowns? Seriously? The only way they were able to redeem themselves was they brought out a crumpled coupon for a free cheeseburger with my hashbrowns. read more

Great location, fairly easy in and out. Staff is pleasant and courteous. French fries can be a little soggy, depending on the time of day. If asked, manager or staff will promptly replace them. Very nice outdoor dining area is a big factor in recommending it. read more

Today I had the worst experience of my life at the Fairview McDonalds. My opinion of them has changed forever. Almost daily I go to a picnic table in the back. I have been doing this for probably 20 plus years. I've always felt that it was a place where I could go to be left alone. A place where I can clear my head and be left alone. A necessity in my life. Never have I ever ever created any kind of a problem there. I am always the person that I am and that is extremely nice, empathetic, compassionate. I always treat the workers there with the utmost respect. They work hard and get paid very little money. They work under what I believe are high stresses to perform under rigorous rules. I have seen a lot in the years that I have sat in the back reading my book for about an hour or so. I have seen drug dealing. I have seen drug users. I have seen addicts. I have seen nefarious goings-on. But still it was my favorite place to go. Just to get a drink and to sit by myself and read a little. Well today changed it all. I have never in all these years seen anyone, not a worker or a manager or even anyone higher up ever come back and speak to any of the people that hang out back there and are up to no good and never order a McDonald's product. Today me doing absolutely nothing wrong, the owner, Dave Petersen, shouted at me through the window of a very expensive Mercedes trailer camper "hey you need to move your car." I said nothing despite the fact that I am disabled and I accommodated his request by moving my car farther away from where I was sitting which made it harder for me to get back and forth without having pain. He didn't say thank you I truly appreciate that. Just went about his business of parking that huge vehicle across at least 3 customer parking spaces. As I was reading I watched him keep bumping over and over again into the poles that held the canopy he was trying to park under. As I watched I didn't know it was Dave Petersen, but thought perhaps he was a paid driver for the vehicle. I felt sorry for him. I'll never feel sorry for him again. After he parked the vehicle I heard footsteps coming my way and I looked up and there he was. Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected to have happen what happened next. He profiled me. As I looked up at him he began rapid firing questions at me starting with how long have you been here? And continuing on not allowing me to speak. When I finally did get a chance to speak I said to him that what he was asking of me was extremely insulting and rude. Any time I tried to speak he would override me with more questions and more loudness so that I also had to raise my voice in order to be heard because he was wrong about everything. I am practically in tears and having trouble even getting my voice. What a bully, in my ever so humble opinion. I have panic attacks so I don't like this kind of confrontation at all. Because I was trying to speak not yell but it seemed like I was yelling because he kept raising his voice over me he said for me to leave, never come back again and that he was calling the cops. At this point it is so surreal to me that he has taken this to the level that he has I can't understand, in my ever so humble opinion, how he can be a leader of a corporation much less lead people. I started gathering my things up and then hobbled back to my now more distant car which I had moved for his benefit, I put my things in my car and then hobbled into the restaurant where I intended to talk to the manager who was standing not far from the door when I went in. Also standing there behind him was Dave Peterson. I said to the manager would you please tell him that I have been coming here for a long time and I have never ever had a problem or caused a problem. Before the manager could say anything Dave Petersen again overrode him and me he kept trying to make me feel like I was the one in the wrong. Until he stepped over to me at the table outside, nothing was wrong, I was just reading. read more

Two times already I have missing items for which I paid. First time I drove back and waited to get what was missing. Tonight one of my kids didn't have his big Mac. I was super tired from work and didn't feel like driving back for the burger. I might never visit this place again. It literally takes your money and your time. I want to compliment the staff for being so dedicated to the customers. I lost my car keys at McDonald's while on vacation and the staff pulled up the surviellance camera and sifted through the trash for l hour without any complaints to find my keys. Thank you. read more
