Absolutely unacceptable behavior at this location I placed a $60 mobile order through the official McDonald's app, which was fully paid for and confirmed. When my kids went inside to pick it up, the employee at the counter told them that only $20 "went through" and demanded $40 cash on the spot. That is NOT how the McDonald's app works, and anyone who uses mobile ordering knows the store receives the full payment BEFORE food is even prepared. When I called the store to clear it up, the same employee refused to speak to me, then suddenly changed her story and claimed the full amount "did go through." The whole interaction was shady, unprofessional, and frankly feels like they were trying to take advantage of kids who didn't know any better. If I hadn't stepped in, my kids would've been out an extra $40 for an order that was already paid for. Completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly suggest management investigate staff who think they can pressure minors into paying cash for already-paid mobile orders. read more

Tonight I placed a mobile order using the McDonald's mobile app. When I got to the drive thru window, the woman informed me they had decided to turn off the Frappe machine (I had ordered 2 large) as part of my order. I said I didn't want anything else and she told me to cancel my order on the app; however the app said I couldn't cancel because they allegedly started prepping my order (which they didn't) the woman refused to refund the money I was charged using the app stating she couldn't because they don't get the money from mobile orders (which I find hard to believe). I ended up leaving without any food or drinks and no refund. I find it ridiculous that they had turned off machines an hour and a half before their actual closing time. I have tried filed a. Complaint on the app as well but not sure where bit will lead requesting a full refund. The woman also was quite rude asking me to leave the drive thru so she could serve the people behind me without rectifying the situation. This is probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I don't think we've ever gone and not had something screwed up, cold or half full. There always seems to be too many very young kids working there without any proper management. Even the one manager I have seen had an attitude when I asked to speak to her after one of her employees screwed up. A good example that the workers here are not the sharpest tools in the shed is the picture I attached of the two fish fillets without buns. This branch is my least favorite McDonalds but my experience today was so horrible I will NEVER go there again. I placed my order at the drive thru...two hamburgers and one small fries, no drinks. Not a complicated order at all. There were two two cars ahead of me and I noticed that they were directed to park in one of the designated spots for order pick up. There are five of these spaces and they all had cars waiting. When I pulled up to pay, I was directed to park in a spot close by. This seemed very odd for such a simple order. I watched as more cars were directed to park when they pulled up to the order pick up window. Every once in awhile a young man would come out to deliver orders to cars. At one point he came to my car but it was not my order. He apologized and went back in. I waited 25 ominutes and decided enough was enough. I went inside and there were several other people inside also complaining about their orders. The girl behind the counter was very frustrated and said that someone had called in sick and they were backed up. I counted six people behind the counter and they all seemed like it was their first day. The only one that seemed to know what to do was the young man that was running the orders outside. He was apologetic. I told the woman behind the counter that I wanted to be refunded. The young man came to the counter with my order and said to please take it and I would also be refunded. I got my money back but chose not to take the order. He seemed to be the only one that knew what to do. Everyone else had that deer in the headlights look. I want to note that I saw five people working behind the counter in addition to the outside runner. It was not busy at all inside, only a few people. It's sad because I live in Hanson but will go to the Rockland one instead. I never have a problem there and they are quick and efficient and they have two drive up windows! This McDonald's is supposed to be closed at 12 am as stated online. Me and these two foster children I was watching went in at 11:29 pm; door wide open. My friend went in the bathroom and I was standing there waiting. Not even 2 minutes of me standing there before the big bad "manager" came out from behind the counter and started cursing at us to leave. He literally asked how we got in like he's surprised that the door was wide open. Breakfast for two 9am march 31 2018. Ordered an orange juice, two big breakfasts and two sausage egg mcmuffins sandwhiches only, and a large coffee. Told the orange juice machine was broken, so I got an apple juice no straw or glass offered even though you need both. Waited for the food for about six minutes and then it was delivered all cold. The big breakfasts were cold , the sausage egg mcmuffins where cold. The potatos were cold and stuck to the package. Had to go back to get salt and pepper and butter for the biscuits which were at least semi warm. Coffee was excellent. I have lived in Hanson for 15 years and I can honestly say this is this is the worst McDonalds I have have ever been to and I have been to hundreds over the years. I usually drive twice distance to the Bridgewater's McDonalds to just to avoid going to the Hanson McDonalds. Tonight for example I had to grab food quick to get my son to basketball practice. I go through the Hanson McDonalds drive through & order food for four people. When I get to the window & pay, the kid at the window takes my money and then asks me to drive around the building and get back in the drive through line until my food is ready. I pointed out that they have designated parking spaces for customers to park & when the food is not ready & I asked if I could park there instead of driving around the building and getting back in line. The kid disappeared & then shows up with my bag and tells me I am all set. When I asked if I had everything he confirmed it was a complete order. I then drove 10 minutes to get home only to find out, my order was incomplete. I drive back to McDonalds & asked to speak to the manager. I told him that they requested me to drive around the building because they were to lazy to bring the food to the designated parking spot for people waiting for food. Instead they gave me a incomplete order. The manager asked me what I wanted & I told him what was missing from my order "2 cheeseburgers". He gave me the food & no apology. One time when I was in there a old women who appeared to be in her mid 70's asked for a tray because she was eating there. They told her that they had no clean trays & didn't even offer to help her bring her order to the table. Another customer spoke up at how rude they were and helped the women. This review is for just this location at 318 Liberty St in Hanson, MA. Normally I've had OK experiences with this McDonald's. But as of late it has been going through some bad staffing issues or something. From not adding things ordered to badly prepped/packed food (Seriously have always had fries put in upside down.) all the while its not even busy. Sometimes have been the only one in the drive-thru so why so many mistakes? This past Sunday is why I'm writing this review. We went through the drive thru with an order and when we got home the burger buns were hard, Fries put in upside down (Must be a staff inside joke.), and food just didn't taste right. The first time i was told they were closed at 945 and I know that's not true. And this time the guy on the speaker was very rude seemed pissed that I was there, like I was bothering him.
