If I could give zero stars, I would. We stopped in last night at 2am - I ordered TWO McDoubles and realize she only rang in one. I, again asked for TWO of them. She cut me off and told me to pull around to the window. I gave her my card, no total, how are you? Nothing. I am given ONE McDouble, which fine - the spouse said they weren't that hungry anyway. What do I find when I get home? A dry McDouble. No mustard, no ketchup, not a single pickle. Usually they put so much condiment that I have to scrape some off (which is fine). Very clean restaurant. I was impressed. It's so sleek and modern inside you almost cannot tell where the counter is. They are definitely pushing the kiosks for ordering but the customer service here was still prompt and pleasure which is a plus. Best part... my fries were hot!! I have written several reviews of my local Micky-D's in Alabama. I don't think any were over a 2 star. I'm so happy to find that every McDonald's is not like those at home. I ordered from the app. I gave my code at the drive thru and a very short wait later, I was handed a bag full of piping hot food - even the French fries were too hot to eat. I always modify my cheeseburger. Only about 1/2 the time do my local restaurants get it right. This time mine was spot on. All of our sandwiches were built just right - all of the burger on the bun, nothing dripping out of the sandwich. The buns were soft and fresh. Even our large fry was overflowing its container. This is not what I've come to expect from a McDonald's. Please come to Huntsville and teach our stores how to run a restaurant. Great job guys! read more

I like McDonald's. This was my first McDonald's as a kid & it had just opened in our area. I have seen it renovated many times. Not a fan of these latest changes. Very bland, nondescript, and impersonal. There is no sign fthat it is in Chocolate Town, USA and you can only see a hint that you are in a McDonald's. When you walk in the door, there are 3 kiosks to place orders. To get to a human, you have to turn the corner & that is where mobile orders are located. No more self-serve soft drinks (which keeps the place much cleaner). I'm all for change but this McDonald's has lost all of its character and charm that welcomed tourists to Hershey. As for the food - the standards are met as expected. Service - service is pretty good for the high volume of business that they have. Drive-Thru is efficient. Cleanliness - pretty good compared to others. read more

I visited the area for work and had Wendy's the previous day. I was stunned by how dirty the restaurant was and how rude the employees were. One employee had dandruff all over his shirt while packing my order, which was very off-putting. So, I was a little worried when I decided to grab a small bite at McDonald's. However, the employees at McDonald's were some of the sweetest and friendliest people I met during my visit. The cashier was absolutely fantastic--making sure I had everything I needed and being incredibly kind. Honestly, I wasn't happy with my overall experience in town, as most people were quite rude to me. But this McDonald's visit made me feel a little better. And when I say rude, I mean that some people wouldn't even move their lips or use their hands when I asked for directions. They would just stare at me, ignore me, or indicate directions only with their eyes. read more

Title: Brandon the Manager is the problem. After countless 1 star reviews on this app, you'd think there would be a change. You start to ask some questions when there isn't change so I did some of my own investigating and I believe I have found the problem; the manager, Brandon. The service here is crap. After multiple bad experiences here, today is the last straw. They somehow got my MOBILE ORDER wrong, and stole 6 dollars from me in the form of a Coke I ordered and a large order of fries. I asked for these items when I recieved half of my mobile order and was told that i didn't order these items even though I had the order pulled up on my phone displaying all of the items I had purchased including the ones that were missing. After 5 minutes of arguing with the employee at the drive thru (who was also completely useless and miserable), I left without half of the items I had ordered. The food I did receive was some of the worst McDonald's I've ever had (and I'm a regular). I called their manager, Brandon, who was completely unwilling to help, and was miserable the entire time we were on the phone. He Didn't even address the attitude I was given by his co workers, let alone come to a solution. I was met with attitude from him aswell and I can see why it runs down through his entire staff. The drive through line also took 15 minutes to get through even though there were only 2 cars on either side because of how inefficient they are in there. Even when I pulled up to the drive through window, when I looked inside there were at least 3 people standing there doing nothing but talking. It is unfortunate to see such poor service, and such a severe lack of customer service basics in the heart of one of the busiest towns in Pennsylvania and needless to say I will not be back, which hurts to say as this is the closest McDonald's to my house. Having fast food for lunch is only an option when you're on the go and need to eat something edible quick. Being that said, my family and I had 45 minutes to get to an attraction nearby this McDonald's location so we decided to come here. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the updates on this facility comparing to the layout of other typical McDonald's. They have few large monitors for people to place their orders and paid via credit or debit cards. Although I always prefer using the machine to place my order over a live person, the place does look a bit shady so I question the security practice they use storing credit card information. I decided to order over the counter and yes, no customers were standing on line at all. Placing the order was quick. I was surprised that this location left fountain cups on the side and tells their customers to go ahead and grab whatever cup size they had order. I'm not sure whether they should trusts their customers or it is that management simply don't care since it's all flavored spritzer at the fountain machine anyway. The water drainage by the fountain machine is utterly disgusting and it's clogged with what looks like ketchup from the condiments area. From the time we ordered to the wait time for the food to be provided to us took about 10 minutes which makes absolutely no sense given that there were no other customers. I can't imagine how slow their service would be if there were customers besides ourselves. Must avoid here next time! read more

It really sad that the workers have to eat out of the customers bags. One of the workers took a French fry out of the bag I don't know if it was my bag or another but it was the girl that was putting together my order #807 after she did it I said something out loud that she was eating out of the bag then she ran to a manager and asked if she could use the restroom. It takes a lot for me to leave a one star review however I had a very negative experience not with an employee at McDonald's it was the manager. She was hostile and very rude over a ranch packet I agreed to pay for. I bought desert at McDonald's and asked for ranch because I got my main meal at Wendy's. She said she wasn't gonna fix Wendy's mistakes. Now I can see where she'd be coming from if I didn't by anything but I bought $7 with of food, and was willing to pay $0.30 for the ranch itself. But she refused to give me a receipt. To lose a customer and be as rude as she was over a $0.30 ranch packet was uncalled for. She was mad I got Wendy's instead of her food but I still spent money there it doesn't make any sense from a business stand point on her part. Just waited in line for over 30 minutes. We ordered 2 Big Mac Meals, a cheeseburger happy meal and an additional large Coke. Both Big Macs came missing a patty, lettuce and sauce on one layer (meaning, it was just a bun on a bun). The large Coke didn't have ice and was actually a Diet Coke. And my 7 year old asked from the back seat, "Mom, are Cheeseburgers supposed to be crunchy?? And is it ok if I eat my yogurt if it's warm??" I just paid for garbage, because that's where everything ended up. I can't even say it was "hot garbage" because the majority was cold on top of it all! In drive thru for 20 minutes, get to the window, verify with the girl (who has incredibly long green fingernails and no gloves) that there is no salt on the fries, she pulls them out of the bag and says "no, no salt", then she yells to Diana, "no sal?" and Diana yells back, "no sal". I drive around, take out the fries and they are pure salt. Go inside, wait another 20 minutes for a correct order and they don't even give me the Quarter Pounders with cheese that I ordered. Slow service at this "fast food" location. It took 10 minutes to receive our food. Human cashier directed us to some self service machines that were out of order, instead of nicely taking our order verbally. My self service machine did not have any table locator numbers, so I had leave my order unattended while getting a number from another machine. They were short staffed on my visit. My order, as well as other customer's orders, was incomplete, and I had to go back to cashier to complete my order. Restaurant needs more staff for tidying the eating area. read more

I went through the drive through and along with two adult orders I ordered 4 kids meals. The lady puts down one. I politely corrected her and said, no I ordered four. It didn't change on the screen but she said she fixed it and to move forward. I finally receive my food and there are only 3 kids meals. I had it corrected again and could not understand how smart you have to be to understand he number 4. Then when I get home the 1/4 pounder with everything has one piece of bacon about 2" long and 2 small pickle slices. Total B.S. I went by there this morning for breakfast. There was an amazingly long wait at the drive-through. I found it strange says there was nobody really in the restaurant eating. I asked at the microphone if they were there they told me just a minute. In the meantime two other cars went through the other side of the drive-through. After waiting for a few more minutes, I went around and parked and went inside. There was almost nobody inside being served in full staff behind the counter. So, when I finally got my single breakfast burrito, it was old and dried out and stuck to the paper. I come here regularly, and the service at the counter is very spotty, waiting a longer time for someone to assist (I guess they want you to use the fancy self serve kiosk). No problem, you use that and they bring it to your table, nice touch. Was in there last night and went thru the usual ordering procedure, except the place was quite busy and they were obviously flustered and behind. Finally got someone to take my money and sat down. Ordered at 8:53pm, time stamped on receipt, and waited.....and waited......and waited...... No order came to the table, and since only had 30 min for break, I went to the counter to see where my order was, at 9:18pm. On the counter was my food, sitting on a tray, remember this was supposed to have been delivered to my table, per the instructions on the kiosk. I asked for a bag for it to go now, since I would not have time to eat in house. The manager then told be that he had been calling my order number for several minutes now, and when I explained that the order was supposed to have been delivered to the table, he grumbled and walked away. Very disappointed in the management team there last night, and I hope it is not a situation that I will face again. So McDonald's was the holy grail, when I was growing up. I still remember, when we got our first McDonald's in my hometown. Going there was a treat! What has happened? Employees just don't care as much? Managers don't care about their employees? Food quality has gone down the sh-- pipe? I think all of the above! I came to this McDonald's to use the restroom, not with the intention to buy food. The restroom needed some TLC, big time! IMO, when restrooms are nasty, that tells me a lot about the restaurant itself. So, why the 2 stars? Well, frankly, it's because I loved their automated machines (that at least gave the 2 stars for having), where you could totally bypass human contact. I accidentally pressed the wrong button, when I checked out and opted to pay at the register. I would have gone bananas, if they got my order wrong because it was just an iced coffee. Anyway, McDonald's has gone downhill, especially here in the US. Rarely, do I enter a patronize a McDonald's, but when I do, it is usually for the following: French fries (only the Gilroy Garlic Fries in the Bay Area), coffee (iced or hot) or an ice cream sundae/cone. read more
