Four stars for now because the Brisket Tacos meat portion was tiny and my Smoked Brisket Sandwich was nowhere near as good as the Brisket Mac N Cheese we had last visit. That was amazing, the sandwich not so much. Pulled chicken burrito was also very good, just not amazing. Both visits, service was slow. It was busier this past Thursday than it was several Sundays ago, so I understand a little waiting, but it was a long wait both times. Servers were very nice. Nice modern restaurant with a separate bar area with great happy hour specials daily 4-6 PM. Get there early for a seat at the bar! We'll be back especially since they participate in Local Flavor coupons ($15 for $30 of food).

Stopped in with my daughter while staying in the area. There weren't many cars in the parking lot, so I was a little hesitant. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. We got chips and smoked cheese dip, wings, a burger and the brisket Philly. Everything was delicious. The wings were outstanding! Our server Thomas was very helpful and friendly. Our food came out quickly and hot. They have something on the menu for everyone. Definitely worth stopping in.

On a Sunday afternoon, we decided to check out Smoked for the first time. The layout includes a bar and a bi-level dining room area, with a good number of tables and booths for seating and TVs tuned to sports on the walls. The place was pretty empty, so we were seated and served quickly. Our service was good throughout our visit; our server was attentive and responsive. We started with drinks and an app. The s'mores cocktail came out smoked with a marshmallow. It was a novelty and fun to try, but probably not something to order again. The magnolia cooler non-alcoholic drink was fun--sparkling iced tea with raspberry and mango--but it was overly sweet to my taste. The Carolina nachos were the star of our meal. The pork was very flavorful, there was plenty of gooey cheese sauce, and the nachos were stacked well. The only problem with this dish is that the fresh-made tortilla chips, which tasted very good, were too thin to hold up to the weight of the meat and cheese. For our entrees, we got the SBG Burger and the half cheesesteak and fries lunch special. The burger was nothing memorable--just a burger. But they didn't overcook it and served an actual medium, which doesn't always happen with a burger! The cheesesteak, which used the same cheese sauce as the nachos, was similar. It was fine but the meat wasn't particularly great, although it had a nice bun. Overall, Smoked was a nice dining experience with no stand-out dishes.

I would definitely recommend this place. The service was fast and the staff is great. The side orders were my favorite. I didn't care for the country sausage but I would tell anyone to order the collard greens, mashed potatoes w/ gravy and cornbread! #Succulent

Very hard to write this as the service was in fact great and our waitress was amazing. Unfortunately the food was such a disappointment and really the only thing that was good were the wings. The salmon was extremely dry and had no flavor even with the bbq sauce on top. The sides I got which were Brussel sprouts, had not a lick of salt and were almost undercooked. The baked beans were just ok and the nachos were good but the chicken on top was chewy and once attacking the top the bottom which was most the tray had nothing but dry chips. The cornbread was cold and dry and the Mac and cheese had no cheese it was just noodles with a little water based cheese sauce I think at the bottom of the bowl. Brisket was dry and flavorless wasn't worth it at all. Overall service like I said was great but food just didn't give me that barbecue feel.

    Current draft list.

Stopped in for dinner with Hubs last night as we were staying in the area for work. Cute little place, well lit, offstreet parking. They did have a few specials, but they were only available if you were sitting at the bar. A lot of items to choose from, pretty reasonably priced for a barbecue place. The portions were extremely large. We both got two meals out of our dinner. I had the brisket meal with the brussels sprouts and red skin potato salad. Each dinner came with a side of cornbread. I know cornbread is a personal thing, I didn't particularly care for the cornbread, it was more of a sweet cake to me, but my husband seemed to like it fine. The cornbread does come with cinnamon butter to spread on it, but I didn't use that. My meal the brisket was very tender. I would say it was somewhere between moist and dry. Had a good flavor. The sides were enormous. The brussels sprouts were good they could've been char a little more for my liking, but they were still tasty, and the Redskin potato salad was very delicious, not too many onions just amount of crunch little bit of dill really fresh flavor. I really enjoyed it. I didn't take a picture, but I also had a cup of the tomato bisque, which was really delicious as well. My husband enjoyed his meal three meat combo. The ribs looked pretty good. They weren't fall off the bone but that was OK. He doesn't like that he felt they were too greasy. They looked pretty good to me, he didn't think he got enough pulled pork though lol. He would've enjoyed more of that and a sausage was quite delicious. He enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy and the red potato salad. My husband had a beer. I had a diet soda and all told our bill was a little over $70 which I didn't think was too bad considering we each got two meals out of one dinner. They have a lot of different menu choices, there is something for everybody. We will probably go back when we're in town. I will say the foodtook a little bit of time to come out, but you could tell the sides, refresh prepared, like the brussels sprouts weren't sitting around in the back, wilting their life away. Off street parking was easy. The restaurant sits right next to Fuddruckers. So if you have a chance try them out.

Here for a lunch during a work conference. They were very accommodating with our larger group. Our server was excellent and was very good about separating checks for everyone. I ordered the brisket cheesesteak. It was ok...definitely nothing that wowed me though. However, the food came quickly. Everybody in my group seemed content with their meals as well. Restaurant was not very busy...which kind of surprised me for a lunch time, especially being so close to the convention center and everything else in Hershey. Overall, it was good...but not someplace I'd go out of my way to return to...nothing that really stood out.

Came in for a concert tonight - decided on a quick bite here and we were not disappointed. Delish food - out of quite a few things i.e collard greens, moonshine. Overall good food

This place is amazing - the food is very tasty and the portions are generous! Kid friendly and family approved, I can't wait to go back for the ribs' . We had the pulled pork nachos- it was enough for lunch for two. The chops were fresh and crunchy! The pulled pork was so good! The prices are reasonable- we wanted to try the cornbread - $5 for two large tasty pieces!

3/4 whipped cream, will not order again.

We've had good food before but tonight was not good. $64 for 2 Briskit Sandwiches and a slice of cheesecake delivered. Food was cold so could blame Doordash but sandwich had little meat and cheese on only 1/4. Cheesecake was less than a 1/4 cup for $7. Taste of food is good but not for the price, guantity and attention to details.

Really solid BBQ in central PA. The ribs were the star of the show, but the pulled pork and baked beans (the best I've ever had) were also huge stand outs. For $45 I think this meal was well worth it. My only complaint would be the brisket isn't very tender. Pretty fatty and kind of tough. But I would try it again, maybe it was just a bad batch that day. Great friendly service and the overall staff was very courteous and accomodating.

Excellent BBQ! The brisket tacos were excellent. Tender brisket with a vinaigrette slaw on warm tortillas. Fries were average. My wife loved her pulled pork Mac and cheese. The severing was huge. Sauces were readily available at your table. All were delicious. I tried them all! Was missing a spicy sauce though. I should have asked if they had one. Service was decent. We stopped in on a Saturday at 5pm and the place was packed. We were lucky to get a table as they really wanted us to have a reservation. We sat on n the bar side and it was noisy. We will definitely try it again.

The atmosphere was fun, utilizing retired ride vehicles as booths and playing into the park setting. As expected in Hershey, the menu explored how chocolate can be integrated into a very American menu. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese: the chocolate barbecue sauce reminded me of a lighter molasses-based sauce so it worked with the barbecue. We had the Ferris Wheel appetizer which was mostly a win, but the items could have shown up on a TGI Friday's menu. The next day, to escape the millions of middle schoolers in the park (I have a whole travelogue brewing for that) we came back because I wanted one of their gigantic milkshakes. The Reese's peanut butter shake was peanut butter to the Nth degree, and it was topped by an entire slice of peanut butter pie. My friend got a stomachache but I love anything peanut butter so this was a win for me. Both times the service was really good. Our servers were friendly and attentive so we never felt we were being ignored or passed over. A+ in the service department.

There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!

This is fantastic both with or without the crostini bread. The menu did say truffle and hot honey glaze however, I only tasted the traditional honey flavor. No heat or truffle flavors. Crab cake - single 8/10 Crab cake was good. I liked the panko crust on it. It was just a hair dry, so it really needed a sauce. However the whole grain mustard "sauce" that it came with was actually just the mustard, it was not a sauce at all- which does not pair well with the crab cake at all in my opinion- It really needed a Remoulade or aioli, just something more on the creamier side rather than straight mustard. The risotto was cooked perfectly for me, it was hard to tell what the flavor was though without reading the menu (it was lemon Parmesan). I didn't understand how the risotto got its reddish-orange color though since neither lemon or Parmesan are that color. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, and was pretty good. Center cut Filet 9/10 Ordered medium, it was cooked perfectly with a warm pink center. The mashed potatoes were super dry, they needed cream or butter or something to make them better and more flavorful. The red wine Demi was pretty good, you could definitely taste the wine and it kinda also tastes like mushrooms in a way. Asparagus again, was cooked perfect. Vanilla bean Crème brûlée 9/10 The custard was amazing- definitely a 10/10. The sugar on top is what brought me down a point because it was just so thick, it really overpowered the custard a little bit, so a thinner caramelized sugar layer would have been perfect. Chocolate Lava cake 8/10 Yummy chocolate cake with a molten lava center, paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The "lava" in the center though was not very much, and definitely needed a little more.
