Food here is always great! Much better than the McDonald's on Elmira Rd. Fries here are always fresh and service always has a smile.

This store has repeatedly DROPPED THE BALL. once I ordered a filet o fish and got 2 sausage burritos; Recently, I ordered a quarter pounder which was COLD and had a stale bun. Last night they told me to pull up so they could bring my food out AND THEY FORGOT ME! I had to enter the store to get my food!!! I asked for ketchup NONE; had to go back in. Absolutely the worst one I've ever been to. If it was in the employee job description to sell cold soggy messed up food then this entire store deserves a raise. The night shift is the worst. I work close by, my first time here they messed my order up. No big deal. I went there every day for a week, same thing. Long waits for simple orders. ALWAYS givin cold reheated food. I have no idea why these guys are giving 5 an 4 stars but this place is the worst! I travel a lot and frequent plenty of McDonald's and this place is by far the slowest. I've been to places that boast their 20 second serve time and they aren't kidding! This place your lucky to get your food in under 15 minutes with only a small handful of people. You'll save time driving to the one in downtown Ithaca this one isn't worth your time. read more

I don't recommend this mcdonald's because i was ordering my food and the lady had to re-ask for mine because she was too busy taking someone else's and after that they didn't give me cream cheese but charged me for it and never told that they didn't have any and when i walked in they were just rude about having to give me my money back for the cream cheese. read more

My family picked up food on the way home today. For me it was a side salad and fries. Someone seems to have forgotten how to use the timer on the fryer and managed to sell white limp vahuely al dente fries. The item that made McDonald's famous and after billions served . . . The salad was ok. Not worth the hassle to go back and complain. read more

I went there 5 times during June 1 - 12 and it was awesome. I stopped being there customer for couple years because at drive through, I ordered one thing and got other thing different from what I ordered with bad service, I complained them and they didnt care.. But I tried at this location again and not see those people, this year, it was way much better than other fast food, and I can say it was better than some fine dining restaurant in town, too. Great food, great service, nice people, great atmosphere and I would recommended this place for everyone. read more

The fries in this Mcdonald's seem to be better on average than he fries in the one just down from homedepot. The service is slow I feel but nothing like a 15 minute wait a dumb reviewer quoted, they are exaggerating somewhat. The last time I was in there the floor was sticky all over after they had cleaned it. Not very nice! The staff are pleasant and the food is Mcdonalds! Pretty much the same wherever you go. read more

This is a regular McDonalds but I've never experienced such slow fast food, except for once in a Baltimore McDonalds. The food is fine but really quite slow. It took them almost 10 minutes just to get my yogurt and that was all I ordered! You'd do better speed-wise going by the drive-through then eating in. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a McDonald's. I walk in at around 9pm and the drive thru is backed up about 12 cars long. Me and my friend decide to order inside instead, but was that a mistake. They only had 2 cooks, and 3 employees working. The workers were scrambling around like mad people losing their minds trying to get everyone's orders straight. My friend and I order 2 lattes and 2 burgers on the electronic tablet. After waiting 20 minutes we finally get our burgers (which were completely wrong to our order. They seemed so busy that they disregard the condiments on the burger and simply gave us both the meat and 2 buns). Another 20 minutes go by and there's no sign of our drinks. I wait in line for another 10 minutes for the frantic cashier (who is also wearing a headset taking drive thru orders) to tell me that their latte machine was broken. So was I just never going to receive my drinks if I hadn't spoken up? She then tells me she can make frappes instead. She goes over to the machine, but then gets distracted once again by the madness that is going on in this place. I wait ANOTHER 10 MINUTES for the drinks I payed for 40+ minutes ago while trying to get the cashier's attention but failing to do so. Another customer oversees this situation and feels so terrible for me that she tells the cashier to get my drinks because she noticed I've been waiting for so long. The cashier then apologizes and says "I'm so sorry we only have 2 cooks and 3 employees, and our manager is not here". Where is the manager? Where are all of the employees? 2 college girls and 1 middle aged man are certainly not enough employees for a night like this. There was also a large puddle of spilled milk behind the register that was overlooked because the place was so busy the employees didn't even have time to clean it. After waiting more than an hour, I finally have my now cold burgers (without condiments) and unusually warm frappes, and am an hour late for a 3 hour drive ahead of me. This was clearly NOT the cashier's fault but this place needs more employees and a manager. read more

Look I know it's just a McDonald's but something really needs to be said about this place. It is very poorly run. Even the drive thru is very slow. I once ordered a coffee, a single coffee, and it took 10 minutes. The food is excessively greasy, even for a McDonalds. I really try to avoid this place if I'm in the mood for fast food. read more

this place really need to have better staffing they say the drive in opens at 5am and almost every time I stop there I get told they are not opened. I stopped there this morning and 3 cars behind me and it was 10 after 5 am and waited for another 10 mins. there cars behind me left so I went to the window only to be told that they were not opened yet,(WTF) and some sop story about how the girl had to do everything her self. then don't say you open at 5 when really you open when you feel like it. What a way to run a business.
