When the employee 5 mins later brought in the tp he brought in one roll instead of two to fill the dual roll holder. The soap dispensers in both bathrooms were torn apart/destroyed. There was feces on the women's toilet bowl/edge. Dirty and chaotic. By far the absolute worst MCD I've been to in a very good McDonald's system overall. Too bad - I'd literally just told my brother earlier that McDonald's bathrooms were always reliably the best. I plan to order some coffee drinks but would not order food in a place like this. UPDATE: I just received my coffee order. But it was wrong. After telling me they were out of Caramel I said sure, I'll just have a vanilla. It's fast food. It wasn't terrible or great. The food combated my hungry quickly. They did had a problem with the order and gave my Dad the wrong sandwich. It was quickly resolved. One of the very slowest McDonald's I've ever been to and has been for years. Besides just the long lines inside and out, you have to wait forever after you order your food too. I can order a single Frappe and have to wait 15 minutes to get it. The employees are really nice and all but they are slow and mess up orders quite often. I've waited 30 minutes on an Artisan Grilled Chicken sandwich and get halfway home and there be no chicken on the sandwich. Sure, they made it right the next day. Long wait, women working first window glanced at us and never made any move to cash us out so we moved to the next window assuming we should pay there. When we got the they were completely confused as to what our order was or what happened to our order. I guess it was so complicated they had to call the manager over who just opened the window and stood there staring at us without saying a word. Don't trust their tea. The sweat tea lid isn't even latched on properly and the unsweetened tea has no lid on this visit in the public lobby where people are hovering over the tea. Very unsanitary. The average wait time for drive thru in my experience is at least 10 minutes every time and good luck ever getting a shake or frappe at night. Literally the worst McDonald's in town. The only reason I even come here anymore is for the play area for my son. But if I'm ever just hungry or in a rush I'd rather drive to orange park than this McDonald's. They are a joke. read more

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. Absolutely unacceptable costumer service. Very very bad attitudes by all of the employees. Very unorganized and slow. They seemed to have gotten everyone's order (including mine) wrong MULTIPLE TIMES!!!! I even saw one of the employees yell at a costumer for complaining of having ketchup on her hamburger (whenever she explained from the beginning that she is allergic to tomatoes). Another disappointing trip to another McDs on the west side of Jax. The window staff member arguing with other staff members about God knows what should have been my first clue that what I would be served here would be food the staff cared less about preparing. The small fries were only warm, not hot, and tasted stale. The guacamole burger was horrendous! I wrote McDonalds corp just last week saying how much I enjoyed the one I was served at the Starke McD. This one was inattentively prepared, and obviously sat around for a while as evidenced by: 3 glops of "guacamole" rather than an even layer spread across the burger like that served in Stark; limp, unevenly distributed lettuce; cheese slice covering only half the burger; brown/tan bits of something masquerading as "onion and tomato." I've visited this location twice in the last 6 weeks. The first time they sold us raw fries. Tonight the manager who took our order charged us for everything but only put half of our order in the bag. One of the worst experiences I've had at any fast food restaurant... They were pitifully understaffed, and the staff that was present were not abiding by health code guidelines.. For example the lady who was stirring the fries had no glove on, and she had long fingernails which is a health code violation because you cannot have acrylic nails and work with food. Although the lady working register was pleasant she had to keep walking away to bag orders and take orders in between, causing a long line to form. I sat in the drive thru for 35 minutes this morning. I get to the first window to pay and the lady takes my card. After she takes it and looks back at her screen, she gets very still and quits moving. I figured she was listening to the next order and putting it in. No, LOL she was dead asleep! I couldn't believe. She finally awakens from her beauty rest and hands me my card back. I get to the 2nd window to get my food and tell the lady how long I have sat in the drive thru and she looks at me like it's normal and not a big deal. I tell her that the cashier in the back is sleeping at the window with people's money in her hands and she didn't believe me. I think the owner needs to quit hiring the same type of people. Went to the drive thru at 5am on Saturday, January 7th. At the order speaker, I was told to pull up to the 2nd window. Nobody was there to take our order after a couple of minutes. A coworker was in a car behind me and confirmed that is what he was told as well. So I knocked... no body. Waited another minute... knocked again. If I could put 0 stars I would. I am utterly tired of coming to this mcdonalds and being disgusted. I come here out of convenience because I love 1 mile away. Drive thru is a disgrace and going into the lobby is even worse. I brought my daughter's here so they can play. The ENTIRE dining room was disgustingly filthy. Every table was dirty. The floor needed to be swept and mopped. Completely out of napkins. I was afraid to even ask for any because they ignore YOU. The play area was just NASTY!!!! The manager was running the front. Went to McDonalds drive thru on Chaffee Road to try their nearly $5 Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich..... what a joke and rip off ! I get home and thought they screwed up and gave me a small cheeseburger due to the small size and yellow paper. In side was a small cheeseburger bun, two pickle chips, NO sauce, onions, tomatoes or lettuce and the chicken patty looked like a chicken nugget rolled even flatter covering about 2/3 of the bun. Most of it was BREADING. The only thing spicy was the red coloring on the breading. A cross section of the patty revealed that the chicken part was roughly 1/16 of an inch thick with equal breading on the sides. Was VERY disappointed with what appears to be corporate greed. Had they made it a tad better it may have qualified for the dollar menu. Wouldn't it be nice if these fast food restaurants would make their food like the pictures in their commercials and adds. Ok so yes it was the morning after a storm... but still this made no sense to me. We pulled up to the McDonalds and were sooo relieved to see they were open. All we wanted was to grab some food and return to our home across town after being evacuated 48 hours prior. The restaurant had a line of cars in the drive thru and even a few people leaving with bags of food and trays of coffee. But as we got in line and closer to the building the cars in front were leaving. There was a sign on the drive thru speaker saying they closed yesterday due to the storm and would open at 8 AM weather permitting, it was 8:15 and the weather was fine. We had to ask if we could place an order because no one greeted us on the drive thru speaker then the lady said 'Sorry we are closed until 9am' --- so how did we just see people walking out with food??. We asked if they had coffee and she said no. So we left like everyone else who wasn't lucky enough to get there earlier or know someone who worked there (is that why they got served and not others?)
