McDonald's - a busy street at night - Fast Food Near Me - Jeffersonville, Indiana

I've went out of my way to review this location on Google. & my summary is, of all the Mc'donalds of the states/cities and so forth I've been to, just so many... This is the slowest, least reliable, worst made food, and I mean noticeably worse regardless of item location there is. Past 10pm, good luck getting through the endless line of vehicles not one night but literally every night for 2yrs I've lived in Jeffersonville. There may be a RARE occasion that the food is good, but it is never great and usually never made fresh no matter what time of the day it is. By the time you get it it's sloppy or warmish... Employees day or night, INTENTIONALLY like very OBVIOUSLY do not do their jobs nor at night where they will happily in a group often chill in the eating lobby hanging out, I couldn't believe it. Now there is one lucky shift where it's still slow but an older woman black hair and is very nice, will work and there's some effort there above all... But that is a very specific chance. Aside from that, this restaurant doesn't need just bad reviews... It needs a FULL ABSOLUTE change in management. The fact I've made an elaborate review of more detail before and have went again making a summarized and now long review yet again, speaks of the drastic frustration of myself and dozens and dozens of friends/family/coworkers have with this place. Like I personally think to myself... They have to be losing THOUSANDS to by now HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars of income due to everyone giving up going there, knowing NOT to go there, and endless long lines leaving and coming to build again to then all leave... & they're open and people are working, they're just literally hiding and chilling. Like okay, play games? Well still make something at some pace and just make it ultra fresh then, like there's not even that leverage lol. It's so sad. If the workers are literally going to show up for a whole shift and do near zero work or none, then that's a huge company issue & simply just close for the day/night of any night where there's no competence for the money we all are spending that we work for. No location is worse unless there was bugs or something, but at least at those locations, seeing an employee and getting handed an order is possible lol. PLEASE FOR EVERYONE, don't go here and PLEASE for Mky D's change everyone out at that location and then put up signs about new management. The first real Pandemic happened when this location opened and that going two years straight, hasn't improved whatsoever. read more

Absolutely the worst McDonald's ever! Every time I come here it's at least a 20 minute wait in the drive-through. As of now, I've been sitting at this speaker box waiting to place my order for 10 minutes! I can sit down and have steak and shrimp at red lobster in less time it takes me to get a cheeseburger here. If it weren't for the fact I was trapped in line with all these cars I would've been long gone before now! This McDonald's needs an emergency exit lane and it's drive-through to keep people from being held hostage! read more

Ordered 2 large unsweet teas in the drive-thru at 12:00am. Been sitting here for 18 mins, and haven't even gotten to the window to pay, yet. There is literally one car in front of us. If you can't properly staff your restaurant, don't keep it open 24 hours. Update: Just got to the window. There are two people manning the drive-thru. This place is Awful!!! the people are beyond rude. they got our drinks wrong they were supposed to be large. when I told the guy in the window this the person in the window proceeded to yell at me and told me I was the reason why he couldn't get a raise because of wasting product when it was their fault they messed it up. it was on the receipt of what it was supposed to be. if you make it right the first time wouldn't have that problem. And then says to me not everybody has a daddy that can buy them a car and give them money are you freaking serious i have never been spoken to that way especially by a worker. And we weren't even rude when we told him it was wrong all I said was oh this was supposed to be a large drink. Not to mention this guy doesn't even know me and I work very hard for everything I have nothing was given to me. So me being very upset at this point not to mention we had kids in the back and the guy was yelling at us for his mistake I went inside and spoke to the manager about it and all she said was oh well I'll talk to him how do you let somebody work there that treats customers that way plus with kids in the car just because you said your drink was wrong! I wish I could give less than one star...I went in today with a free meal card after reporting an issue I had a few months ago. I figured since the meal was free I would try it. Never again, you can't pay me to go back. An employee working the drive through started yelling for a manager to "come get this old b**** and deal with her or give her money back" in regards to someone waiting at the window. I wish I was making this up. The entire lobby overheard. When I received my food I asked if it has onions (per my request to not have any) and the guy took it out with his bare hands to unwrap it and check. I should have asked for a new one but I took it and ran. When I got to my car to eat, the burger was cold. I dont think it was from being unwrapped, the patties hadn't been warm for a while. I still have a free meal ticket leftover and I'm giving it to a homeless person but I think it might be insulting to them. It's not worth it. This restaurant will never survive. No amount of free meals will save you if you don't train your people in proper serving and customer service. The only reason you had customers today is because the new Chick-fil-a up the street is closed on Sundays. read more

Went through the drive thru and of course half the order was missing. Went in the store to get what we left out...after ably least 5 min the nice man cleaning the dining room was able to get the ppl working to get the food we had paid for. Drive the extra few min to visit the store on hwy 62. It's worth the time. read more

got here at 2 pm. inside closed drive through only. 2 people working. 2:30 I'm still stuck in drive through and can't move. Drive through has clearance of 9 ft my van is 9'6" so having to get in and out of vehicle. this is totally unacceptable! Not the first time with issues at this location. Terrible location! Zombie employees walking around slowly seeking brains? molasses syrup would beat them in a race! Just automatically assume your order is incorrect, it will be, or shorted an item. no matter the time of day, your going to wait! your simple sausage biscuit with mustard will be handed to you, with a quick assurance your order was checked and correct, what l find is a McGriddle with sausage and zero mustard.. now that fake friendly team member doesn't want to deal with me, so I'm going to stand around some more until someone corrects my order.. seriously, it shouldn't take 45 minutes to receive a simple sandwich, but hold on Skippy! this isn't the first visit to the clowns rodeo! I've canvassed several locations throughout southern, IN and the Louisville area, ordering the same simple breakfast menu item, 5 out of 9 stores failed to expedite the order correctly. 2 of the locations were quick to correct the order, other locations were lackluster about a prompt correction, one cashier even questioning whether I'd given the order correctly to her! the 10th street store only serves as a daily reminder of consistent corporate failure.. read more

such a shit place, told it wasn't open till 7 am came, did not open their doors even ten mintutes after. all of them walked right past into the side door, completely ignoring me. thankfully I used the app to get curbside and two people came out to give my food (knowing I'd probably have something to say) dude made fun of me for not having a car, which I do but this place is really close to where i live so we bantered a bit but I'm not going to waste on a McDonald's employee too stupid for his own good. literally one star for a reason. read more

Ok I know this is McDonalds but still I have expectations for the mega fast food chain. This location used to be super clean and nice with very friendly staff and super fast service. However, now the staff seems like they don't have a clue what is going on, there seems to always be something sticky in the dining room, and the double drive through is twice as slow. The "voice" always seems like they are less than thrilled to be taking your order and kitchen staff must have poor eyesight since most things come out really sloppy and the fries taste like the fryer oil hasn't been changed since Obama took office (budget cuts?). Overall it seems clear that no part of the staff really cares about customer service or if they are they are not trained well enough to be effective. read more

This McDonald is awful, the new look is great! They need new staff. I was the only car in the drive thru and it took them 30 minutes to make a burger.... 30 minutes for a burger!! That's horrible, and that time doesn't even count how long I was waiting at the order port. It's really hit or miss here, like another reviewer said. I usually order a fish filet combo, and if I say light tartar sauce, I get hardly any, and if I don't specify, I get about three tablespoons. The drive through service is sometimes fast, most of the time be prepared to wait 5-7 minutes, as this place is busy no matter what time you visit. read more

If I could give no stars I would! I have NEVER been treated as rudely as the manager of this McD's treated me! It started with a line to the doors of lunch rush customers with only one cashier. Ketchup was empty and all the teas except the diet which was filled with unsweetened. Other McD's have Diet sweetened with splendid and it was marked Diet. I asked for a REFILL because they were empty and the cashier said it would be full charge! SERIOUSLY!!! I asked for the manager and she repeated what the cashier said another full charge for a REFILL!!!! I said I am not going to pay full price for another tea and the MANAGER proceeded to Walk off, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. This was in front of 5 employees. This is the worst Mcdonald's I have ever been to went inside stood in line for 15 minutes finally got up to have them take my order only to be told the wouldn't take my order because the were too backed up. After waiting 30 minutes in total. 20 minutes after paying I get to the window and inform the girl how long I've been waiting. She tells me it's not her problem . 100% her problem along with everyone else being paid there. I don't understand how you can be paid to be so worthless. Don't expect fast service drive thru at night is slow. Only takes one order then after paying at 2nd window pull forward while the to waiting area while the make food after you finally get yours. They start it over so a line of only 4-5 cars expect to wait 30 plus minutes. There excess is they are under staffed same excess for the last 3 months. read more

Fraud alert for the McDonalds located at 5506 E Hwy 62 Jeffersonville IN. The drive thru is skimming money from customers. Please make sure you demand a receipt and double check that the receipt is correct and that they gave you back the right change (or gave you back the right card if you used a card) and make sure when they hand you your food that the food order is correct. this location, save your time. i work as a bartender so i don't leave work until very late. hate to say it but sometimes very limited things are open. this location is the most inconsiderate location i have found. argued with me about a large fry i ordered, told them i was so fed up that i would give them my bag and the receipt, they wouldn't take it. i'm sorry but when i get off work from a late night dealing with very difficult situations i don't want to go to the mcdonald's down the street and deal with the same BS. This is the worst McDonald's restaurant I've ever experienced. The day crew is fantastic. A few mornings I've gotten breakfast there and the crew is friendly, personable, and it really made the rest of my day. But come here after 6pm and you're lucky if you even get to place an order with anyone, especially in the drive thru. One night I was really craving McDonald's after work. I was the only car in the drive thru. The first thing the order taker told me was that there would be a 20 minute wait because they were short staffed. Nearly 45 minutes passes before they returned to the microphone to take my order. When I finally got my food it was cold. It was by far the biggest let down I've had at any restaurant. I've been back for breakfast one time since that night, good experience. I've tried the drive through a few other times at night, but usually end up in a motionless line for 15 minutes before taking my business elsewhere. Get new management, get new staff, get new customers. I'm honestly shocked this place stays open. read more

Worst McDonald's ever. Half hour wait times even with only 3 cars in line for drive through. Staff do not care. At all. It's okay in the morning and sometimes during the day. At night, food is cold, order is wrong, it would be quicker to drive to Louisville, literally, or to a sit down restaurant or cook a meal at home. Seriously 30 minutes in line every time at night. Staff often don't apologize for the wait, and never offer a free coupon for the trouble, etc. This McDonald's just does not care at all about food, freshness, or customers. Gross. read more
